Chapter 422

One must remember that Latias and Latios are Psychic-type Pokémon, quite proficient in perception.

Yet before Deoxys, they could detect absolutely no movement.

Undoubtedly, whether in speed or in the means to conceal its aura, Deoxys was far superior to Latias and Latios!

Only thus could it render them unable to sense any motion whatsoever.

"Bang! Bang!"

Before Latias and Latios could even react, two loud bangs sent them flying out once more.

Clearly, Deoxys had again blasted them away with extreme speed.

On the shore, Lin Han, who had been observing the battle among the three legendary Pokémon, froze completely upon seeing Deoxys single-handedly dominate Latias and Latios.

She was utterly stunned.

In her eyes, legendary Pokémon were synonyms for power and strength.

Any legendary Pokémon was, without doubt, a Pokémon standing at the peak.

Initially, she too had thought Su Yu somewhat overconfident to fight two alone, but she had not expected this.

Judging from the course of the battle, Su Yu's Deoxys was simply beating the two legendary Pokémon senseless.

In both speed and attack intensity, Su Yu's Deoxys proved superior.

She had assumed that obtaining a legendary Pokémon meant invincibility.

Su Yu had taught her a harsh lesson.

Even among legendary Pokémon, vast gaps existed.

Su Yu's Deoxys was, without doubt, a top-tier legendary Pokémon.

Moreover, from the battle, this Pokémon could even change forms!

How terrifying was that? In its Speed Form, even Latias and Latios could not track its velocity.

If it switched to other forms, Lin Han dared not imagine just how terrifying Deoxys would become.

Especially since Deoxys could switch forms mid-battle.

Did this not mean that whenever Su Yu wished, he could have Deoxys transform into its most advantageous form at the precise moment?

Thus, it could always seize the initiative!

What a terrifying Pokémon!!

Deoxys also made Lin Han understand that Su Yu could confidently entrust the legendary Pokémon to her because he possessed the absolute strength to reclaim it.

With such mastery over a legendary Pokémon, even some Elite Four members might not be Su Yu's match.

For a moment, Lin Han actually felt a sense of admiration arise within her toward Su Yu.

People naturally admire strength; especially unique and powerful women hope for such an invincible champion to conquer them.

Lin Han felt that a man like Su Yu must be among the world's absolute finest.

Only then would he be worthy of her submission!

On the sea surface.

After the previous assault, Latias and Latios had instead calmed down this time.

The earlier attacks had taught them that mere brute force would not hit their opponent.

Instead, it would only allow Deoxys to find openings.

Latias and Latios exchanged a glance, then a surge of intense purple light erupted from their bodies.

Instantly, the entire sky seemed dyed purple, and even the calm sea began to churn under the power of Psychic energy.

Waves rolled, emitting constant splashing sounds.

Psychic!

Moreover, it was Psychic unleashed jointly by Latias and Latios.

Blinding purple light converged and rushed toward Deoxys.

This Psychic attack was not only powerful but also covered a vast area.

It could be said that Latias and Latios, joining forces, were determined to strike Deoxys.

"Defense Form, Amnesia now," Su Yu commanded calmly.

【Amnesia: Clears the mind, instantly forgetting something, thereby greatly boosting Special Defense.】

Deoxys immediately shifted its form.

Its slender, thin body began to expand and swell; in the blink of an eye, the slim Deoxys transformed into a rather bulky figure resembling a human clad in a spacesuit.

On this basis, it immediately used Amnesia.

For a moment, it appeared as if it had forgotten something, suddenly freezing in a daze.

Once it regained clarity, its Special Defense had increased tremendously.

At this moment, the joint Psychic attack from Latias and Latios had arrived.

It bombed directly onto Deoxys.

This psychic force resembled a giant hand, gripping Deoxys tightly before exploding violently.

Instantly, the air above the sea underwent violent fluctuations.

Air currents, as if from an explosion, surged wildly in all directions, driving the sea surface into massive waves.

Seeing this, Latias and Latios became joyful.

This time, they had finally managed to hit Deoxys.

However, soon their excitement vanished.

Because when the Psychic attack ended, the figure on the sea surface showed no sign of weakened momentum whatsoever.

Latias and Latios hurriedly looked over, discovering to their shock that...

Deoxys, which had just tanked their Psychic attack, was now curled up before slowly recovering.

Judging by its appearance, it had suffered almost no damage at all!

What was going on?

The two Pokémon were completely stunned.

Could it be that their attacks were unable to inflict even a shred of damage on Deoxys?

Seeing the astonished expressions on Latias and Latios, Su Yu felt like laughing.

Deoxys was a Pokémon that had fought Rayquaza head-on, tanking several Hyper Beams without issue.

For them to think their Psychic could harm Deoxys was truly wishful thinking.

After all, their attacks were nowhere near the level of Rayquaza's.

Coupled with the disparity in levels, there was no need to even consider it.

288: Capture! Dual Legendary Pokémon!

Upon realizing their Psychic attacks were ineffective, Latias and Latios immediately launched Zen Headbutt.

The Psychic energy of the two Pokémon converged into a massive purple giant hammer, striking toward Deoxys.

"Iron Defense."

Su Yu issued the command once again.

Deoxys tensed its entire body.

Subsequently, its skin shimmered with a metallic luster.

Consequently, its defensive power surged directly.

"Bang!"

The Zen Headbutt rushed to Deoxys's side and smashed down viciously.

Under this attack condensed by two legendary Pokémon, Deoxys appeared utterly insignificant.

However, the moment the Zen Headbutt slammed violently onto Deoxys's body...

The seemingly unstoppable Zen Headbutt actually shattered directly into fragments.

Just like a piece of smashed glass, it turned into crystalline powder and vanished into the air.

This time, Latias and Latios were thoroughly stunned.

Neither physical attacks nor special attacks could inflict the slightest damage on Deoxys.

Then how was this battle even supposed to be fought?
