Chapter 76

This also proved that Fire Blast had completely formed!

"Combusken!" Combusken spat out the Fire Blast, and in an instant, the Fire Blast rushed toward Trapinch with unstoppable momentum!

The huge character and Trapinch's petite body formed a strong contrast!

At this time, Trapinch didn't seem to have realized the danger coming, still looking around.

"Whoosh!"

The Fire Blast passed through Trapinch's body.

Along the way, it left a scorching aura.

When the Fire Blast disappeared, Trapinch also lay on the ground, smoking.

Trapinch, defeated!

【Combusken defeated Trapinch, gained 120 experience points!】

"Trapinch is unable to battle, so the winner is contestant Su Yu!"

The referee announced the match result.

With a "Boom!", the entire auditorium boiled over.

"Holy crap! This is too awesome! Actually did a one-on-three directly?"

"Damn, such a strong Combusken, such a cool Combusken!"

"Hiss... even if I went up, I couldn't beat this Combusken, I embarrassed the sophomore students."

"Don't be depressed, I'm not an opponent either, didn't expect the freshmen to be this strong now."

"Wow! Handsome and strong, the junior is so handsome!"

On the other side of the playground.

He Sheng looked at Su Yu's Combusken and hummed coldly.

"It's just relying on the level advantage, not worth worrying about at all."

"My Gyarados can easily defeat it!"

On the high platform, Principal Gao Mao saw Su Yu's performance, and a smile appeared on his face.

"Is this his true strength? It really gave me a huge surprise."

Principal Gao Mao looked at Su Yu with satisfaction.

"Let him grow up, maybe our school can shine in the future National Pokémon League and become the first place!"

Hearing Gao Mao's words, Pokémon Academy Director Liu Qianghui felt a monstrous wave in his heart.

You have to know that in recent years, the National Pokémon League championship has been taken away by Kyoto University and Modu University.

This time Gao Mao actually said Su Yu had a chance to win the championship.

That looks like the principal thinks very highly of Su Yu.

After returning to his seat, the three in the dormitory greeted him happily.

"Su Yu, it's simply too cool! You don't know, when Combusken solved the three opponents, how loud the people around were shouting."

"That's right, a bunch of girls were even shouting they wanted to marry you."

"Combusken's strength is so strong, when the time comes, beat He Sheng up hard, let's see how he can be arrogant."

Su Yu nodded, "Don't worry, I didn't take He Sheng to heart at all; when I meet him, I will let him know what strength is."

The following time was the matches of other contestants.

However, at this time, the audience, after seeing Su Yu's Combusken, all felt that these people's matches were somewhat boring.

Maybe this is what it's like to be amazed and then see everything else as ordinary.

After a while, the top 16 list was also freshly released.

Su Yu's opponent this time was a girl with an ordinary appearance, named Liu Yan.

She could be considered one of the few girls who could enter the top 16.

Liu Yan was tearful after seeing her opponent was Su Yu.

"It's over, actually met Su Yu. How can I win now."

Just now she had watched Su Yu's entire match, and Combusken's powerful strength left a very deep impression on her.

Su Yu's opponent Wang An was actually about the same strength as her, but Wang An's three Pokémon were all killed in seconds by him, so she thought she would be the same.

"It doesn't matter, Liu Yan, you are already very strong, even if you lose, it's nothing, Su Yu is a favorite to win the championship."

"That's right, just do your best, don't be too sad, you are already great."

"Go, we will cheer for you."

Under the encouragement of her roommates, Liu Yan also tidied up her mood.

When the broadcast notified her match, Liu Yan walked onto the competition field with firm steps.

At this time, because they had already reached the top 16, the competition also started rotating venues.

Desert, ice, grassland, river, plain, five venues rotating.

This rule is to increase the uncertainty of the battle.

After all, it's impossible to let Pokémon only fight in one venue; that's unfair to other Pokémon.

After both sides went on stage, the screen also started to draw the venue.

Finally, it stopped at the grassland venue.

Seeing this, Liu Yan breathed a sigh of relief.

If it were a river venue, her Pokémon would be miserable.

Before the battle started, Liu Yan looked at Su Yu pitifully.

"Student Su Yu, can you not use your Combusken? I'm not an opponent at all."

Su Yu was stunned at this time; he didn't expect the opponent to say this.

"Sure." Su Yu nodded.

"It's okay if you refuse, I was just saying it for fun... What! You said sure??" Liu Yan looked at Su Yu in surprise.

She didn't think she would succeed at all; saying these words was just to be pitiful.

But she didn't expect Su Yu to actually agree.

"This... actually, it doesn't matter what you use, student Su Yu, I was just saying it for fun."

Liu Yan said somewhat embarrassedly.

"It doesn't matter, I wasn't prepared to use Combusken from the beginning anyway."

"Is that so?" Since Su Yu said so, Liu Yan didn't say much and started preparing for the match.

"Contestant Su Yu and contestant Liu Yan are ready, the match begins!"

At the referee's order, the battle between the two sides began!

"Come out, Aipom."

"Welcome your match, Luxio!"

What Liu Yan sent out was a Pokémon that looked like a monkey on the outside, but its tail looked like a palm.

It was exactly the Normal-type Aipom!

On Su Yu's side, he naturally used one of his main Pokémon, Luxio!

Speaking of which, Su Yu really hadn't used Luxio in many matches; he trained it every day.

It could be considered somewhat sorry for it, so Su Yu chose to let it play in this round.

"Meow!" Luxio appeared, and lightning crackled all over its body, looking very excited!

Aipom on the opposite side saw Luxio, and a fearful expression appeared on its face.

It was exactly Luxio's Intimidate ability that activated!

【Intimidate: Intimidates the opponent when appearing, making it shrink, lowering the opponent's attack.】

Liu Yan on the opposite side saw Su Yu's Luxio and revealed a surprised expression.

Because this was another Pokémon Su Yu had never brought out before!

This also means that this is another trump card of Su Yu!

And looking at Luxio's posture, dignity revealed a hint of ferocity.

It looked very hard to mess with!
