Chapter 214: Caizang: Sanping truly is a good disciple of his master!

【Item】：Diamond Pearl Fragment (contains rich temporal power, seemingly related to the Time God Dialga, Steel Dragon Pokemon can absorb it, breaking the species limit upper bound to reach Legendary, absorbing it has a chance to inherit some of Dialga's attributes)

Diamond Pearl is an exclusive item added as a precious diamond alongside Dialga!

In the game, the specific effect is: after holding Dialga, the power of Dragon- and Steel-type moves increases by 20%.

Although this item before us is merely a fragment, it does not increase move power,

but it is still very precious!

Stepping into Legendary, it also has a chance to inherit some of Dialga's attributes; it's practically an upgraded version of the Rainbow Wing.

Steel Dragon Pokemon are rare,

but Ash will soon have one,

exactly, it's the Kalos Sliggoo,

After using the Emerald Stone to change form, Sliggoo's attribute will shift from pure Dragon to Dragon-Steel,

which matches this item perfectly.

……

The group stared wide-eyed at the angular crystal before them,

"What a beautiful artificial gem!"

"But this probably isn't a item related to Legendary Pokemon, right?"

"……"

If it weren't for Ash's broad knowledge,

he would likely also treat it like everyone else, as a processed gemstone craft.

Seeing everyone doubt the stone was processed, Sanping immediately became anxious.

"You may not know, but I found this stone by accident while practicing skills with my Croaking Head Frog in a sealed rock cave,

"It is absolutely not something I or I hired someone to carve; it is a natural mineral."

"Indeed, I can confirm that this stone is the Diamond Pearl Fragment related to the Time God Dialga of Sinnoh."

Ash showed no hesitation in his fondness for the pearl, nor did he hide it from Sanping, thus driving down the price.

"Do you still want to exchange this item for training?"

"Really? That's great! Koga Ninja Frog heard that, you can also accept training to become stronger!"

Sanping happily hugged his Koga Ninja Frog.

Obviously, compared to the Diamond Pearl Fragment, the Koga Ninja Frog is more important in Sanping's eyes.

Caizang in the dark let out a sigh of relief,

Although the plan changed, Sanping could realize that companions are more important than precious items; his mentality clearly withstood the test.

However, this kid's luck is also truly good,

he actually managed to pick up an item of a deity like Dialga.

Could it be...

This is what Doctor Da Mu said, fools have fool's luck?

By the shore,

After Sanping happily celebrated, he suddenly thought of something.

A flash of embarrassment crossed his face.

"Hey senior, I heard that to have you strengthen, the Pokemon needs to be at Champion level!?"

According to the rule Ash mentioned, Sanping's Koga Ninja Frog is only at Five-star Gym level, clearly not up to standard.

"Looks like you're willing to trade."

Ash smiled, shook his head, and explained:

"That's what I deliberately said to avoid trouble,

"training strengthening is divided into stages,

"Champion level can be done once and for all; non-Champion level cannot be fully strengthened at once, but you can first strengthen part of it,

"when your Koga Ninja Frog reaches Champion level, you can come to me for a second strengthening.

"Also…

"this item is extremely valuable; strengthening just one Pokemon would be a huge loss, and later if you catch other Pokemon you can also come to me for strengthening."

After all, it's an enhanced version, so the due respect should still be given.

"Thanks! Thanks, senior, thank you so much!"

Hearing that strengthening was possible, Sanping nodded gratefully again and again.

"But strengthening other Pokemon is out of the question; I heard this training is very difficult, and moreover I and my Koga Ninja Frog need a second strengthening, which would be too much trouble for you."

In the dark, Caizang's envious eyes turned red.

"Disobedient disciple! Disobedient disciple!"

"As your master, I haven't treated you poorly; at times like this, shouldn't you think of your master?"

"Right!"

Suddenly, Sanping slapped his head!

"Oh dear, it's all because I'm slow-witted; that's why I just remembered…

"Senior, you didn't know, my teacher Caizang also has a Koga Ninja Frog that might need training; I don't know if we can work something out."

"Of course!"

Ash smiled and nodded,

"Strengthening any Pokemon is fine; the choice is yours!"

In the dark, Caizang reached out and lightly rubbed his chin, giving a dry laugh twice.

"Good disciple, truly my good disciple! I haven't wasted my hard work cultivating you for years! Soon I will treat you well, letting you feel double the affection!"

No trace of his earlier angry foot-stomping remained on his face.

"Who goes there!?"

At the right moment, Ash let out a fierce shout, cutting off Caizang's muttering,

"Greninja, Air Slash!"

Seeing the attack coming toward him, Caizang hastily dodged to the side.

Boom!

Just after Caizang had dodged, the hiding grass was instantly shredded into pieces by the Air Slash.

Having narrowly avoided the attack, Caizang's back was already soaked in cold sweat.

"Strong perception!"

Getting back to the point…

"Can Greninja even learn Air Slash? Is that even legal!?"

What's more, Caizang was bewildered that,

Greninja not only used Air Slash, but also condensed a pair of energy wings on its back and flew up!

Caizang: "Flight!?!?"

Soon,

Caizang and the Heavy Armored Tortoise were then assigned by Ash, who had cleared the area, to be chased by Greninja for over a kilometer.

Ash smiled.

Those earlier words were deliberately said so that Caizang could hear them,

But the later training process couldn't be shown to him, not even to Sanping.

"Sanping knows, this is some kind of business secret, right!?"

After saying that, Sanping left the Greninja behind and departed the scene.

"Ash, you handle it yourself; we'll also leave first."

Serena sensibly led Tierno and Diancie away, while Clemont and Yurie also followed and left.

Soon the scene had only Ash and Pikachu, plus two Greninja, together with the hidden Latias.

Ash commanded Latias to find a suitable opponent,

He commanded Sanping's Greninja to defeat it, completing a first-stage strengthening.

【Ability】: Transformative 1 (Type changes to match the used move, same-type bonus increased to 1.75×! Unlocks the talent to learn all 75-power moves of any type)

The next level up is the same as Nemo's Phantom Mask Cat.

After patiently delaying for over ten minutes…

"It's enough now."

Using Waveguide Power to locate Sanping, Ash returned the Greninja to him.

"Your Greninja has completed a first-stage strengthening; when you reach the Heavenly King level, come find me again to continue your mission."

"That fast!?"

Sanping was dumbfounded.

"Oh oh, is it faster because it's only the first stage? I get it now!"

You really like to imagine things.

But Ash still nodded, acknowledging that statement.

"Kid! It's time to complete the mission and go find your master to blast gold coins!"

"Now your Greninja has opened the Ren and Du meridians, awakened an unparalleled learning talent, and can learn all moves with 75 power of any attribute."
