Chapter 251: Fist Plate
The next day at noon, Huo La's door was suddenly struck by a rapid series of knocks.
Dong dong dong—
Dong dong dong—
"Huo La, are you there?" a Galaxy Team member shouted from outside the door.
Huo La rubbed his drowsy eyes and replied in a hoarse voice, "I'm here, just a moment…"
He struggled to sit up, his whole body aching as if his bones were falling apart.
Yesterday he had only managed to push through with sheer willpower, but now that he relaxed, the wounds Deoxys had inflicted and the bruises from climbing began to throb faintly.
After splashing his face with cold water, Huo La steadied himself a bit and opened the door.
At the doorway stood a Galaxy Team guard in uniform; seeing him emerge, the guard said immediately, "Huo La, Captain Majamu wants you to go to the council hall right now."
Huo La nodded, "Alright, I'll change clothes and be there right away."
After the guard turned and left, Huo La stared at his back, a hint of doubt rising—Captain Majamu had specifically sent someone to call him; could it be that there was a lead about the Stone Tablet?
Despite his doubts, he dared not linger, quickly changed clothes and rushed toward the council hall.
He pushed open the Galaxy Team council hall door, and at a glance Huo La saw the scene: absent were Ami, Ju Yi and Bei Li La compared to yesterday, while Gangshi and Zhu Bei were still present, their expressions still bearing a lingering solemnity.
In the exact center of the conference table lay an object tightly wrapped in dark cloth, its shape indiscernible.
"You're here," Captain Majamu looked up at him, his tone calm.
Huo La stepped in, nodded, "Captain Majamu, is there something you wanted me to come for?"
Captain Majamu did not answer directly, but slowly scanned the assembled people and said in a deep voice, "Since everyone is here, I have something to show you all."
Speaking, he reached out and gently pulled the cloth off the object on the table.
As the cloth fell away, a warm, reddish‑brown Stone Tablet gleamed into view before everyone.
The moment they saw the tablet, the system emitted a sudden rapid beeping, "Beep beep beep! Fist Plate detected, System Task issued!"
【Task Released:】

【Task Released:】
-Task Type: Key Mission (cannot refuse, cannot be revoked)
-Task Content: Acquire all of Arceus's Stone Tablets
-Time Limit: No limit
-Reward: All Pokemon attribute skills permanently +5%, 5 Master Balls
Huo La's complexion shifted repeatedly, and he muttered inwardly: Damn system! It just issued two "cannot refuse, cannot be revoked" missions.
But looking at the rewards, his heart couldn't help but stir—this was the most generous reward since the system was bound.
Besides the tangible attribute skill boost, it even granted a Fighting Z-Crystal and directly rewarded five Master Balls.
Although Deoxys served as a cautionary tale, this Master Ball does not guarantee a 100% capture rate for every Pokemon; at least Divine Beasts are beyond its reach.
Deoxys could be successfully subdued only because the Arceus Clone's suppression kept it stable.
Even so, a Master Ball remains a Master Ball, its value still incalculable.
Seeing Huo La's constantly shifting expression, Captain Majamu's gaze darkened slightly, and he said, "It seems you recognize this thing."
Huo La froze, letting out an instinctive "ah". He had only been startled by the system's sudden task, and hadn't expected Captain Majamu to read that as recognition of the tablet.
But he quickly recovered, seized the opportunity, and nodded, "It's one of the Eighteen Plates, the Fist Plate, also called the Fighting Plate."
"Indeed, one of the Eighteen Plates," Captain Majamu's face showed relief, and he raised his hand to signal Huo La to sit.
His gaze settled on the reddish‑brown tablet, his tone carrying a hint of antiquity: "This tablet is a family heirloom. Our ancestors recorded that it was gifted by a legendary Pokemon. From what we see now, that Pokemon is Arceus."
With those words, the council hall fell silent instantly.
Not only did Gangshi and Zhu Bei's eyes widen, but even Xingyue and Dr. Laben's gazes toward Captain Majamu changed noticeably, full of shock and disbelief.
"So... Captain, you are a descendant of that legendary hero?" Gangshi sprang to his feet, his tone brimming with excitement.
Captain Majamu nodded slowly, his expression calm: "That's right. The tome Xingyue mentioned yesterday that records Arceus is also a family heirloom. However, it likely isn't from the same era as that hero, but compiled by later ancestors."
This news shocked everyone even more than hearing of Arceus's existence yesterday.
The hero who, according to legend, led ten Pokemon to challenge a formidable foe—his descendant turns out to be the captain of the Galaxy Team!
Zhu Bei also rose, awe on his face: "I never imagined the heroic bloodline of legend has persisted to the present."
Captain Majamu waved his hand, signaling the two to sit: "They're just old legends. I only confirmed yesterday after hearing Huo La mention Arceus and the tablet that our ancestors' records aren't false."
"Captain Majamu, did Arceus give the hero only one tablet?" Huo La suddenly asked.
Captain Majamu looked up at him, a glint of understanding in his eyes, then smiled: "I know what you're thinking, and you're right."
He paused, his gaze sweeping over the Fist Plate on the table, and said slowly, "Besides the one given to my ancestors, the ten Pokemon that fought alongside my ancestors against Giratina each received a tablet gifted by Arceus."
When he finished speaking, his eyes turned to the stunned Gangshi and Zhu Bei, his tone firm: "Those are the 'Kings' that your Diamond Team and Pearl Team are tasked with caring for."
"What!" Gangshi and Zhu Bei, as if struck by lightning, simultaneously sprang up, the chair legs screeching against the floor, their faces full of incredulous shock, their voices involuntarily rising a few pitches.
Captain Majamu ignored their astonishment, his gaze returning to the Fist Plate on the table.
He lightly pressed his fingertip against the tablet's edge, gently nudging the warm, reddish‑brown tablet toward Huo La.
"Since Arceus personally tasked you with finding the Eighteen Plates, it must have sensed the hidden danger in Hisui," Captain Majamu said solemnly and firmly, "I entrust this Fist Plate to you."
