Chapter 441: I'll Deal With It

~6 min read 1,092 words

As soon as those words finished, a figure suddenly appeared behind the two, his eyes sharp, staring fixedly at Liu Bo and Gilbert on the roof.

Just a glimpse, Liu Bo immediately sensed Huo La's intent; his normally calm tone unusually gained a hint of urgency, and he turned to Gilbert, commanding in a deep voice, "You quickly go capture Lugia; this person, I'll deal with!"

Before the words finished, he unhesitatingly ordered, "Articuno, Blizzard!"

With no delay or pause, Articuno flapped its wings powerfully, bone‑chilling wind carrying swirling snow surged toward Huo La in an instant; wherever it passed, the air seemed frozen, the cold biting to the bone.

Huo La muttered under his breath, having no time to think, he could only grit his teeth and face the enemy, shouting in a deep voice, "Venusaur, use Vine Whip!"

Venusaur stepped forward at the call, its thick Vine Whip whirring rapidly like an airtight shield, forcibly carving a safe blank zone amid the raging snow, protecting Huo La behind it.

"Razor Leaf!" Huo La followed immediately, issuing the command again.

Countless emerald Razor Leaves instantly coalesced into sharp blades, swarming toward Articuno, bearing fierce gusts that drove straight at its vital points.

Liu Bo's expression remained calm, showing no sign of panic, he said lightly, "Articuno, Air Blade!"

Articuno flapped its wings, and countless invisible Air Blades materialized out of thin air, colliding with the incoming Razor Leaves in mid‑air with a thunderous crash.

In an instant, cold rays burst outward, fierce winds raged, the two forces intertwined and clashed, emitting a harsh sound as splintered energy fragments scattered across the ground.

On the other side, Gilbert saw Liu Bo already locked in a fierce grapple with Huo La, with no one left to block him, he inhaled deeply, a sly smile curling his mouth, "As expected, I still have to take the initiative."

Saying that, he stepped forward and, without hesitation, leapt from the towering rooftop toward the ground.

Huo La, still tangled with Liu Bo, caught sight of the scene and was momentarily stunned; before he could react, a dazzling yellow lightning streaked upward, firmly catching the falling Gilbert—it was Zapdos!

At that moment, perched on its back, a smug Gilbert sat confidently.

Gilbert turned his head, waved at Huo La and Liu Bo still fighting on the roof, a determined grin at his lips, shouting loudly, "You keep fighting, I'll take Lugia first!"

As the words fell, he patted Zapdos's back and ordered, "Go quickly!"

Zapdos flapped its wings and surged upward, carrying Gilbert toward the direction of Lugia within the sea vortex, disappearing in an instant amid the swirling snow and lightning.

At the sea's center, the massive vortex swirling around Lugia, under the intertwining of flashing thunder, scorching flames and biting snow, gradually condensed into a dense downpour that hammered down.

Strangely, the rain seemed bound by an invisible force, pouring only within a few meters of Lugia, while the sea beyond remained battered by gale winds yet untouched by rain, creating a bizarre sight.

High above, the Three Legendary Birds were locked in a fierce clash with Palkia and Kyogre, raging thunder, scorching flames, piercing ice and heavy Shadow Energy intertwining and colliding, the roar shaking sea and sky.

Even with Kyogre's powerful entry, the battle remained chaotic, utterly uncontrollable; each energy collision could raise towering waves that swept the entire sea.

Fortunately, Lugia seemed unwilling to be drawn into the conflict.

It rode the surrounding storm, circling the outer perimeter of the battle between the Three Legendary Birds, Palkia and Kyogre; its pure white wings trembled slightly in the gale and rain, its gaze watchful of everything before it, always keeping distance from the melee.

Mounted on Kyogre, Bilan watched the stalemate battle, his tone full of anxiety, and shouted at the equally fighting Chi Hong Ge, "Chi Hong Ge, dragging on like this won't work; if we keep this up, not only will we exhaust ourselves, the island will be completely destroyed!"

Red's sharp eyes swept over the Three Legendary Birds in the melee, then turned toward Shamouti Island—the sounds of explosions and battle faintly reached them, the situation equally grim.

He clenched his teeth, his expression solemn, and said, "Hold back for now! As long as Huo La and the others on the island can resolve the issue, everything is still in time. But if the island's situation spirals out of control, we'll be left with the worst plan."

Bilan's heart tightened, and he quickly asked, "What is the worst plan?"

"Capture the Three Legendary Birds before us, along with Lugia," Red said firmly, with a hint of resignation, "Only by fully controlling these Legendary Pokémon can we end this chaos; otherwise the entire Shamouti Island will be destroyed in an instant."

But as soon as the words ended, a dazzling yellow lightning streaked rapidly from the direction of Shamouti Island, cutting across the battlefield in an instant, bearing fierce gusts, and raced straight toward the circling Lugia.

Watching Zapdos carrying Gilbert draw nearer to Lugia, Red's expression tightened instantly, his voice urgent as he shouted to Bilan beside him, "Bilan, I'll hold the line here! You quickly stop Gilbert; we must not let him catch Lugia!"

"Chi Hong Ge! But you alone facing the Three Legendary Birds is too dangerous!" Bilan, his face full of worry, instinctively retorted, his gaze fixed on Red, his heart burning.

"No nonsense, hurry!" Red said sharply, "If we wait any longer, it'll be too late; once Lugia is taken, everything is over!"

Bilan clenched his teeth, suppressing his worry, nodded heavily, and patted Kyogre's back, "Kyogre, at full speed chase that Zapdos we just saw, use Shadow Ball to stop them!"

Kyogre let out a low, resonant roar, its Shadow Energy surging, and instantly broke away from the melee, sprinting toward the direction of the charging Zapdos.

Meanwhile, on the rooftop, Huo La watched helplessly as Zapdos carried Gilbert away, drawing ever closer to Lugia; impatience filled his eyes, and he longed to rush forward to block, his hand movements quickening.

"Stop thinking, your opponent is me," Liu Bo's voice rang at the right moment, his tone still steady, "In the battle at Tianqing Mountain before, you were so young yet possessed such strength, which surprised me. Today, there's a chance again, let's have a good fight."

Before the words finished, Liu Bo ordered again, "Articuno, Ice Beam!"

Articuno flapped its wings, and a piercing Ice Beam shot out suddenly, targeting Huo La and Venusaur.
