Chapter 180: Parental Love is Selfish

Seven in the morning.

"Jiang Yueluo is missing, and the window is still open?"

After listening to the desperate plea for help from Jiang Yueluo's parents, Su Hao roughly understood the situation.

As farmers, the Jiang parents hadn't had much contact with Trainers. The aftershocks caused by Su Hao letting Diancie and the others train, combined with Jiang Yueluo's extreme attachment to Su Hao because he wanted to become a Trainer.

The Jiang parents both felt that Su Hao must be a powerful Trainer. Suspecting their son had run off to Viridian Forest again, the two could only immediately report it to the police station and then run to seek Su Hao's help.

"Yes, Brother Su, can you help us find Yueluo......?"

"Of course, we will pay the corresponding reward for hiring a Trainer for a mission......"

"Of course, it's understandable if you refuse...... but please, help us, I beg you!"

Su Hao watched the man before him bowing frantically, but he felt no sense of difficulty.

To be honest, he had gotten along quite well with Jiang Yueluo during this time, and he was more than willing to help with a small matter like finding someone.

【Ding, host's willingness detected.】

【Task initiated: Find Jiang Yueluo, who was abducted by the Nova Organization.】

【Reward: Viridian Force (Beginner)】

"You don't need to be like this. Even without a reward, I would help you." Su Hao comforted the weeping Jiang parents, reassuring them.

"How can we...... this is our duty."

"It's fine. Just consider it me doing you a favor. Keep the money to support Jiang Yueluo in becoming a Trainer."

"Of course, the price is that before I leave, you just need to cook a sumptuous meal for me and my Pokémon."

Su Hao knew how expensive it was to be a Trainer, especially for people from ordinary families.

He had been living quite comfortably at the farmhouse for the past few days. Now, with Articuno by his side, he was confident in rescuing Jiang Yueluo.

However...... since this group of hyenas who hunt for Mythical Pokémon and create chaos abducted Jiang Yueluo, was Jiang Yueluo's previous disappearance really because of a Mythical or Legendary Pokémon?

The house where he was staying at the farmhouse was about two or three hundred meters away from the house where the Jiang family lived. The other party clearly abducted Jiang Yueluo with a purpose, without alerting anyone.

"The place where Jiang Yueluo was found after he went missing was an abandoned, unvenerated shrine."

The fact that this forest was actually named Viridian also made him very concerned. The Viridian Force rewarded by the system at the end, combined with the legends he learned online.

Could it be...... that the Nova Organization's goal is Celebi?

The legends about Celebi in this world have little to do with Ilex Forest or other forests in games and animations. Legends of Celebi circulate to varying degrees in large and small forests all over the world.

As a Mythical Pokémon capable of time travel, the strongest individual should be able to achieve a certain degree of time manipulation, although it should not be comparable to the God of Time, Dialga.

There are also legends that Celebi can completely revive a forest that has died after being ravaged by natural disasters such as fires.

This is also the reason why Celebi is revered as the Forest God.

"I just don't know if the Mythical Pokémon Jiang Yueluo encountered is Celebi, and if it is that most special Celebi that holds a certain authority."

Brainstorming in his mind, Su Hao quickly pieced together several fragmented clues.

Since the system task directly spoiled that the Nova Organization kidnapped Jiang Yueluo, assuming these people came for Celebi, then they are very likely near the shrine where Jiang Yueluo was when he was found!

"Do you still remember the location of that shrine?" Su Hao asked the Jiang parents with a serious expression.

Jiang Yueluo should have been abducted in the middle of the night. It is now seven in the morning, and who knows how many hours have passed since he was abducted.

He must find him as soon as possible. That group of people from the Nova Organization are villains who would want to drown Waterboat City with the Heart Scale without any scruples!

"We remember...... we have always kept track of the location."

"Mark the location on this map for me. I will go alone first. The police station will probably need to collect evidence before taking action." Su Hao opened the navigation map on his phone and signaled the Jiang parents to mark the location of the shrine.

【Location marked.】

He couldn't tell the Jiang parents that Jiang Yueluo might have been kidnapped by the Nova Organization.

First, he had no evidence to prove that this matter was related to the Nova Organization. He couldn't just say his system spoiled it for him, right?

Second, telling them would only increase their anxiety, which was unnecessary.

"It's right here...... Brother Su, I leave it to you."

"Of course, leave it to me!"

Su Hao could feel the Jiang parents behind him, staring at his back with intense anticipation.

After confirming the location, Su Hao prepared to run to a place without anyone around to let Articuno out to help.

With such a big bodyguard, why would he, a Trainer who has only been active for two and a half months, go head-to-head with a multinational evil organization? He's not stupid.

And according to what Articuno told him, the reason Articuno stirred up a blizzard that day was because a group of petty thieves ran into its nest to cause destruction.

Su Hao felt that the probability of the culprit in this matter being the Nova Organization was also very high.

This is a farmhouse not too far from Viridian Forest. He needs to find a place without people or surveillance to change his clothes and disguise himself.

Su Hao's current running speed has reached a level that even those Olympic champions in units of measurement can only look up to.

While running, he dialed his father's phone.

"Beep...... beep...... beep"

"Hello? What's wrong, son?" Su Xu's voice, clearly not yet awake, came through the receiver.

Su Hao immediately told Su Xu about the possibility of the Nova Organization making a move here.

Su Hao knew that this matter had to be notified to the Shenzhou Alliance, and Su Xu, as his father, was the best messenger.

At the same time, he also trusted his father.

Even though he now has the assistance of the second-tier legendary Articuno, having an extra hand is safer.

Su Hao briefly explained everything he knew: Jiang Yueluo might have come into contact with Celebi, the Nova Organization might have kidnapped Jiang Yueluo to control Celebi, and he was currently heading to the shrine to rescue Jiang Yueluo.

Su Xu was silent for a while and said: "What about your own safety? You, who currently have the strongest professional-level combat power, cannot fight those villains."

"How about this, the Alliance is currently encircling and suppressing the remnants of the Nova Organization near Viridian Forest today. I will immediately talk to the Commander-in-Chief. Based on the intelligence you provided, it is very likely they have been fooled. This is a diversionary tactic."

"You'd better not go. I don't want my own child to have an accident...... although saying this might be unfair to the Jiang parents."

Su Xu knew he was very selfish. Compared to the lives of other parents' children, he was more biased toward his own son.

Now that he is far away in Yang City, he can only communicate with the Commander-in-Chief on the Viridian Forest side, Miao Yin of the Twelve Earthly Branches, through an emergency call within the Alliance. ===== CHAPTER 181 =====
