Chapter 246

"Oh my, what made my baby think of calling Mom?" An ethereal, soft, and pleasant female voice came through the phone's receiver, and Su Hao's eye twitched.

"Let Mom guess, is it because you got a girlfriend and have no money, so you want to ask Mom for funds, right? Wait a second, Mom will transfer the money right away~"

Before Su Hao could even speak, Ms. Su Qing had already imagined Su Hao's motive for calling and said it out loud. If this continued, he didn't know where the topic would drift off to in another dimension, so Su Hao quickly spoke up to interrupt.

"Mom, it's like this."

Su Hao had protested countless times since he was a child, but he still couldn't correct Ms. Su Qing's way of addressing him. He could only helplessly talk about how he had finished reading the hundreds of invitation letters at home today and was somewhat distressed about which university to choose to visit.

On the other end of the phone, Su Qing was holding the phone with her shoulder while listening to Su Hao speak, her hands busy checking a batch of Eevee that had recently been sent into the research institute.

These Eevee were rescued by the World Pokémon Protection Association from a criminal organization that conducted inhumane live Pokémon experiments, and a small portion of them were sent to their research institute for treatment.

Realizing that she had fallen into her habit of divergent thinking again, Su Qing immediately apologized: "It's Mom who overthought it. Baby, don't think that Mom is rushing you; just follow your own pace."

"However, visiting universities..."

Su Qing pondered for a moment, suddenly thought of a good idea, and said excitedly: "Didn't you say you needed my help because of Diancie? It just so happens that Mom has a good university here too; you can visit it when you bring Diancie over!"

Hearing Su Qing's hint, Su Hao suddenly remembered that the city where Su Qing's evolution research institute was located happened to have several universities that had sent him visit invitations!

"Then I..."

"If you want to come over, you can do it anytime!"

"Okay."
