Chapter 619

"Chansey has lost its ability to battle. Inspector Joy, aren't you going to send out your second Pokémon?"

Su Hao pointed to Chansey, who was lying in the deep pit with swirl eyes.

"Come back, Chansey." Joy bit her lip. She didn't expect this Milotic to be so strong, but as long as it was there, there was still a chance of winning.

Joy stroked the second Poké Ball in her hand, her heart set.

"You've worked hard." Joy tapped Chansey's Poké Ball with her red lips, then threw out the second Poké Ball: "Latias, mission start!"

"Come back, Milotic." Su Hao recalled Milotic and threw out the second Luxury Ball together with Joy: "Diancie, a opponent just like you has appeared!"

The red light dissipated, and on the field of the Pewter Gym, two Pokémon that were rare among the rare in the outside world—a clash between a Mythical Pokémon and a Legendary Pokémon—began.

Pokémon: 【Latias】

Type: 【Dragon + Psychic】

Gender: 【Female】

Ability: 【Levitate】

Level: 【Professional-level Late Stage】

"Latias...!"

Su Hao's lips curled up slightly. Sure enough, Inspector Joy already possessed a legendary Pokémon like Latias at this period!

"Di... ancie!?"

Joy opened her eyes wide, her pupils trembling.

In the records within the Kanto League, she was fortunate enough to know about this Mythical Pokémon, Diancie, the princess of the Ore Country who lived in the Kalos region.

Rock, Fairy type!

Even if Latias's level was slightly higher than Diancie's, it was unknown how much power Latias could exert under the type disadvantage.

Diancie floated in the air not far from the ground, its pink pupils looking at the Latias opposite with some suspicion.

"It's not the Latias we know, just fight normally."

Su Hao's voice was like a stabilizer, making Diancie, who was still hesitant, calm down instantly.

Since this Latias wasn't the one it knew, then it would slaughter Dragon-type Pokémon!

"Acting Gym Leader Su Hao, this is truly a huge surprise. A Rock-type Mythical Pokémon in a Rock Gym, interesting!"

Joy's gaze was heavy; she felt pressure for the first time in a long while.

Even if Fairy counters Dragon, Latias still had Psychic-type moves!

The outcome was not yet decided, and Joy ordered: "Latias, Steel Wing!"
