Chapter 294

Spiritomb blocked the Aura Sphere with its telekinesis, while Lucario had already used Extreme Speed to appear right in front of it, power gathering in its fist, ready to strike..

"Don't even think about it!"

Spiritomb vanished in a flash.

"Teleport is useless against me!"

Over there!

Aura locked onto the opponent's position; the instant Spiritomb reappeared in the distance, Lucario chased it down at Extreme Speed and sent it flying with a Metal Claw slash.

"Damn, what a terrifying Lucario!"

Seeing Lucario relentlessly pursuing, Spiritomb had no choice but to Teleport away again.

"It's useless!"

Lucario once again chased after it at Extreme Speed.

So the two Pokémon kept flickering across the field, one chasing, one fleeing!

Ouyang watched anxiously, and at the same time was completely baffled — why could Lucario accurately pinpoint Spiritomb's landing spot?

No wonder, even knowing it was at a type disadvantage, he still chose to send it out — this Lucario was simply his natural counter 1.6.

No good, if this kept up Spiritomb would be the first to fall; the two's stamina simply wasn't on the same level.

"Spiritomb, use Psychic to protect yourself!"

This time Spiritomb didn't run; the moment it formed a barrier with Psychic, Lucario caught up, and a Meteor Punch nearly knocked it flat on the spot.

"Now's your chance, use Power Split!"

While being sent flying, Spiritomb endured the pain and fired off a special beam, hitting Lucario dead-on.

Power Split — using its psychic power, it adds together its own and the opponent's Attack and Special Attack, then splits them evenly.

In other words, the Lucario hit by this move had a great deal of its power redistributed to the opponent; the two's Attack stats were now on the same level.

Ouyang laughed triumphantly, "Didn't see that coming, did you?"

Weakening Lucario's power while strengthening Spiritomb's — one cut, one boost, the effect multiplied several times over; Ouyang couldn't help but feel smug.
