Chapter 51

Bai Jing and Li Shaobao took a taxi to the Pokémon Home.

This was a large store selling not only Pokémon eggs but also Pokémon and other items, its scale nearly catching up to the Pokémon Center.

"It's quite luxurious. Do they have Champion-level Pokémon for sale here?"

"How could there be? Even if there were, they'd be taken to auction!"

"Then there's no need to go to the Pokémon area; let's head straight to the Egg area."

Just as Li Shaobao said, the variety of Pokémon eggs here was complete, divided into seventeen zones; aside from Dragon-type, all other types were present, the only difference being more or less.

"Ding! An Excellent-quality Pokémon egg detected five meters ahead."

In fact, since arriving at this shop, the System had prompted several times, but Bai Jing was uninterested.

During this period, he had figured out the System's detection function.

First, the range was only one thousand meters, the same as his own Aura sensing range.

Second was the distinction of Pokémon quality; for instance, one with Champion-level potential would be prompted by the System as Excellent grade.

Champion was Superior, League Champion was Outstanding, and Pseudo-Legendary was Exceptional.

He, with Champion-level potential, looked down on it; at the very least, it had to be Champion-level.

"Li Shao, do you need me to pick one for you too?"

"This..."

"Trust my eye; you won't go wrong!"

"Alright, I'll ride on Brother Bai's luck!"

The two arrived at the Fire-type area, and Bai Jing began to detect.

Champion-level was out of the question; if there were any, he would naturally raise them himself, so he could only choose a Champion-level one for him.

Found it!

"This one!"

"This is... a Fletchling egg!"

Every egg here had a label indicating its species and price.

"Although Fletchling is Normal/Flying type, its two evolutions, Fletchinder and Talonflame, are both Fire/Flying type; it suits you and can serve as a mount, perfect!"

Fletchling

Gender: Female

Type: Normal, Flying

Ability: Gale Wings

Stats: HP (A), Attack (A), Defense (B), Sp. Atk (B), Sp. Def (C), Speed (S)

Potential: Champion

Strength: Novice (Early)

This Fletchling was very good, especially its speed.

"I do need an aerial mount, but..."

"Brother Bai, are you sure your luck is reliable?"

"Rest assured, absolutely!"

"Alright, I trust you!"

Li Shaobao bought it on the spot, spending fifty thousand Dragon Coins.

As for this price, well, Fletchling is a common bird; not to say it's everywhere, but it is seen everywhere, so logically its egg shouldn't be worth this much; this shop is selling it too expensively.

But considering its quality, this price is far too humble for it.

"Let's buy one for Tiezi as a gift too; as for Feng Shao, he probably wouldn't look at it."

So the two arrived at the Grass-type area.

After scanning once, Bai Jing took down a green-and-black egg.
