Chapter 563: The Eighth Floor, Wei Yang!

The guardian of the eighth floor was a middle-aged uncle, bespectacled and refined-looking, with a small goatee.

"I am Wei Yang. Young friend, your pace of challenging is very fast—if you can defeat me, it will be enough to leave your name recorded in the tower."

"I will, and my name will be recorded at the very top."

Wei Yang smiled. "Confidence is a good thing!"

"Enough talk, let's begin!"

The referee carried out his duty. "Both sides, send out your spirits!"

"Come forth, Mount Goat!"

Mount Goat

Gender: Male

Attribute: Grass

Trait: Herbivore

Aptitude: Physique (S), Physical Attack (A), Physical Defense (C), Special Attack (970A), Special Defense (B), Speed (C)

Potential: Quasi-Champion

Strength: Quasi-Champion (Peak)

Bai Jing still chose Charizard to fight.

Wei Yang frowned—being countered, whether by Fire or by Flying.

Moreover, Bai Jing was decisive, directly having Charizard Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X.

Wei Yang gave a wry smile. "Going all out from the start?"

Bai Jing laughed. "Although I have the type advantage, Charizard's strength is still a bit lacking—after Mega Evolution it's about even."

Added to the equipment it's carrying, Charizard's strength had already surpassed the opponent's.

"Does this count as a form of respect toward me?"

"I never look down on my opponents!"

"Very well!"

The referee announced, "Battle begin!"

"Flamethrower!"

"Seed Bomb!"

A pillar of fire shot down, but was blasted apart by a chain of seed explosions—smoke billowed everywhere.

From across the field came Wei Yang's command: "Use Growth!"

Under the skill's effect, Mount Goat's body kept swelling, turning into a giant goat, its attack power greatly increased!

You have Mega Evolution, I have Gigantism—I won't let you have the spotlight all to yourself.

Among all moves, two are rather special—Growth and Minimize. At certain times they are very practical.

"Hah, growing bigger has its pros and cons. Attack power is raised, but agility drops accordingly, and the surface area to be hit also grows larger!"

"Charizard, Fire Spin!"

A vortex of flame spread downward, enveloping Mount Goat within—there was no escape!

Wei Yang felt a headache. Not only was his type countered, the opponent also held air superiority—this battle would not be easy!

He could only meet force with force!

"Mount Goat, jump up!"

Mount Goat leaped high, passing straight through the Fire Spin—even though it was burned it didn't care—and charged at Charizard!

"Wood Horn!"

"It's not that easy!"

Charizard simply dodged to the side, letting it pass with ease.

"Dragon Claw!"

The sharp claws left several wounds on the opponent's belly, making Mount Goat cry out in pain!

"Coming up into the air to seek death?"

"Charizard, Flamethrower!"

"That may not be so!"

Suddenly two vines shot out from Mount Goat's body, binding Charizard. Using the force of the fall, they pulled Charizard off balance, interrupting the Flamethrower.

"Come down together!"

Mount Goat dragged Charizard down toward the ground.

"Then as you wish!"

"Charizard, Flare Blitz!"

Raging flames erupted from Charizard's entire body, burning through the vines and restoring its freedom. Then it transformed into a flaming meteor, carrying an unmatched charge as it slammed into Mount Goat!

Wei Yang's face changed drastically—he could only watch helplessly as Mount Goat was hit full-on by Charizard, crashing into the ground and gouging out a huge crater!

"Mount Goat, are you okay?"

Okay, sure—how could it be okay? That hit was no light matter; Mount Goat couldn't recover for quite a while!
