Jieyin knelt on one knee and spoke solemnly.

"You cultivate the Path of Dreams, an extension of the Great Dao of Spirit. Though it is a minor path, it holds profound mysteries; even if it does not reach the highest, its upper limit is still very high."

"If you tread the path to the Highest, you may become the Highest Jieyin route, or rather, the path of the Highest Dream Master."

Li Mo spoke slowly.

"I am the Highest? Reflecting the heavens and myriad realms?"

"The path of the Highest Dream Master..."

Jieyin's spirit shook; a sliver of a phase of expectation appeared in his eyes as he gazed earnestly at Li Mo.

"I ask you: how do you normally cultivate, and how do you deduce wondrous methods?"

Not keeping Jieyin in suspense, Li Mo went straight to the point.

"Taking dreams as the Dao, I evolve a world within sleep; within that world, I cultivate or deduce wondrous methods."

"Dreams are my Dao and my reflection; even while cultivating in sleep, I can feedback to reality. Thus, everything I do related to cultivation is conducted within dreams."

Jieyin answered without hesitation.

"Then what is it that you cultivate?"

Li Mo asked.

"What is cultivation cultivating?"

Jieyin's expression froze; he looked utterly bewildered.

What else could one cultivate but the Great Dao of Dreams, or the minor path of Dreams?

"Cultivating the Great Dao of Dreams within dreams; since cultivation occurs within dreams, the speed of cultivating the Great Dao of Dreams can be faster."

Though he did not grasp Li Mo's meaning, Jieyin answered honestly.

"You have mistaken the essence."

Li Mo said calmly.

"Mistaken?"

Jieyin froze again, completely dumbfounded.

My primary cultivation is the Great Dao of Dreams, yet you say cultivating the Great Dao of Dreams is wrong?

"Dreams are not reality; dreams are inherently fantasy. Though they possess a certain material framework, their essence follows the will. Creating worlds, even heavens and myriad realms, within dreams is not difficult; it merely consumes spiritual power."

"Evolving the heavens and myriad realms is only a matter of time; the sole difficulty lies in how to project them into reality, turning illusion into fact."

"Ruling over the heavens, ruled the ten thousand realms."

"Making dreams descend completely upon the heavens is difficult, but empowering or temporarily descending is as easy as lifting a hand. Thus, this is the completion of the first stage of the Dao of the Supreme Dream Lord."

"This, is the correct way to employ the Great Dao of Dreams."

"Strengthen the Great Dao of Dreams? Expand the foundation of the Dream Dao?"

"No need."

"If you create worlds, if you derive the Dao, if you gather the heavens, this process itself is expanding the Great Dao of Dreams — and expanding it at the root."

"Take a cup for example. Your previous cultivation was adding water to the cup; this does indeed make it heavier, but what if you enlarged the cup itself?"

"Enlarging the cup is hard, but adding water is easy. If the foundation of your Dream Dao is raised, then merely wanting to raise the Great Dao would be as easy as lifting a hand."

Li Mo's voice was calm and indifferent, yet to Jieyin and Zhunti's ears it was like thunderous divine lightning rumbling across the heavens, and also like something striking straight at the root — profound and mysterious, touching directly upon the Great Dao, awakening the fruit of the Dao.
