Chapter 1076: The embodiment of wisdom

~4 min read 665 words

But as Bodhisattvas within the Western Fomen, they are the embodiment of wisdom, so for Bodhisattva Samantabhadra to do this,

not only would it not make Maitreya Buddha feel happy, but it would also lead Maitreya Buddha to think that Bodhisattva Samantabhadra was doing it on purpose.

Once such an impression was left in Maitreya Buddha's heart, I fear Bodhisattva Samantabhadra's fate would not be very good once he returned to Western Lingshan.

And this is why the Eighteen Luo Han were now competing for the quota to crash into Mount Buzhou, while he, Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, could not do so.

Besides, the Six-Eared Macaque had no relation to Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, so why would Bodhisattva Samantabhadra risk persuading the Eighteen Luo Han to give up crashing into Mount Buzhou?

Not to mention that once Bodhisattva Samantabhadra said so, if the Eighteen Luo Han were punished by Maitreya Buddha, the first object of their hatred would be him, Bodhisattva Samantabhadra.

Just say that once Bodhisattva Samantabhadra spoke up to let the Eighteen Luo Han give up doing so, then Bodhisattva Manjusri, who had already been set up to take the blame,

would certainly seize this opportunity to blame the failure of this matter entirely on the fact that Bodhisattva Samantabhadra had spoken up to stop the Eighteen Luo Han from crashing into Mount Buzhou.

As for whether Maitreya Buddha believed this, it was not important; what was key was the attitude of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra revealed by this matter.

Bodhisattva Samantabhadra not only failed to offer suggestions but instead stopped the person faithfully executing the suggestion.

Such an act, in Maitreya Buddha's eyes, must be that of a person from Daoist Randeng's faction.

Being able to still stand on Daoist Randeng's side now that Daoist Randeng had already gone into seclusion

was no longer an ordinary believer; that was a fanatic, and he had to be dealt with heavily.

Therefore, considering this point, Bodhisattva Samantabhadra would even less likely step in to save the Six-Eared Macaque.

Unlike Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, Bodhisattva Manjusri, upon hearing the Six-Eared Macaque speak, found a way to break the deadlock.

"It was my plan that was not well-thought-out; crashing into Mount Buzhou has actually caused you, Six-Eared Macaque, to suffer such a heavy disaster, and even Sun Wukong is injured."

"Looking at it this way, I have no choice but to stop this plan."

Bodhisattva Manjusri, at this moment, used the Six-Eared Macaque as an excuse to successfully cancel the originally unreliable plan.

Although this was the case, Bodhisattva Manjusri would still be punished for the mission failure, but because of this matter, he could, in Maitreya Buddha's eyes,

leave an image of knowing one's mistakes and being able to correct them, which is the greatest virtue.

Under these circumstances, even if Bodhisattva Manjusri were to suffer punishment, it would not be too severe.

Besides, as long as the Eighteen Luo Han did not all faint, Bodhisattva Manjusri would be able to find an opportunity to shift the blame onto them.

Similarly, the remaining sixteen Luo Han among the Eighteen Luo Han who were crashing into Mount Buzhou, upon hearing Bodhisattva Manjusri's words,

one or two of them, completely disregarding their own safety, headed toward Mount Buzhou with all their might.

Because the Eighteen Luo Han were also quite clear about Bodhisattva Manjusri's thoughts, under these circumstances, the Eighteen Luo Han could only fall into a 'coma'.

Only then could they avoid the risk of being blamed by Bodhisattva Manjusri.

As for playing mind games with Bodhisattva Manjusri, the Eighteen Luo Han had never thought of that.

After all, within the Western Fomen, compared to them, the Bodhisattvas' methods were truly unfathomable.

Therefore, in playing tricks, a thousand times, ten thousand times, the eighteen Luo Han tied together would not be a match for the Bodhisattvas.

Under these circumstances, the Eighteen Luo Han could only use crashing into Mount Buzhou to enter a 'coma' state, thereby forming an invincible state. ===== CHAPTER 1078 =====
