Chapter 1456

Yet now, let alone finding General Juan Lian,

she hadn't even caught a glimpse of him.

To the point that she now had to rely on the support of the 100,000 Heavenly River Water Army under Heavenly Emperor Haotian to have any hope

of finding General Juan Lian hidden in the Flowing Sand River.

For a time, the facts before her were all slapping her in the face.

However, facing Tang Seng's words, the Kunlun Wang Mu had no way to refute them.

After all, what Tang Seng said was reasonable and well-founded.

As a Fomen disciple, Tang Seng should and must follow the Zhu Zhu Bajie of the Fomen.

Abstaining from female beauty was one of the Zhu Zhu Bajie.

The Kunlun Wang Mu naturally would not force Tang Seng to agree to her conditions.

After all, doing so would make Tang Seng break the Fomen's precepts.

Furthermore, Tang Seng had given an answer that she could not refute and could only support.

That was, if he needed to rely on avoidance for this small tribulation at the Flowing Sand River,

how could he face a great tribulation in the future?

It couldn't be that every time Tang Seng encountered a difficulty, she, the Kunlun Wang Mu, had to step in to help, right?

First, she was not that idle; she had a pile of things to deal with in Heaven.

Second, as the Kunlun Wang Mu of Heaven, if she descended to help Tang Seng every time, did she still want her face?

Therefore, under these circumstances, even if the Kunlun Wang Mu was unhappy, she ultimately agreed to Tang Seng's proposal.

However, because of this,

the only way to break the current situation was through the dragnet search of the 100,000 Heavenly River Water Army.

Searching the Flowing Sand River inch by inch to find General Juan Lian.

But this method required an extreme amount of time.

Now, the 100,000 Heavenly River Water Army had been searching in the Flowing Sand River for quite some time.

It looked as if they were about to turn the Flowing Sand River upside down.

Yet even so, not a single person among the 100,000 Heavenly River Water Army had found General Juan Lian's figure.

If this continued, heaven knows when they would find him.

Tang Seng, as the protagonist of the Journey to the West Kalpa, needed to go to the Western Heaven to obtain the scriptures.

Dragging it out at the Flowing Sand River would only slow down the progress toward the Western Lingshan.

Therefore, Tang Seng could afford to drag it out.

But the Kunlun Wang Mu could not.

After all, she had many things that required her personal attention.

Therefore, she could not be like Tang Seng, staying here at the Flowing Sand River,

dragging it out with General Juan Lian forever.

However, if she were to return to Heaven in such a dejected manner,

as the Kunlun Wang Mu of Heaven, she would not be able to hold her head up.

Back in the Lingxiao Palace, in front of Heavenly Emperor Haotian and all the gods, she had spoken so confidently.

Now, she was in such an awkward position.

So, since she couldn't persuade Tang Seng and couldn't just give up and return to Heaven,

continuing to drag it out was something the Kunlun Wang Mu could not accept.
