Chapter 147

A Daluo Jinxian, in the Journey to the West era where Quasi-Saints do not appear, can already be considered a true top-tier powerhouse.

"Emperor Zhenwu, this time I order you to lead the heavenly soldiers and generals to Mount Huaguo to capture the monkey demon," the Emperor commanded.

"Yes, Your Majesty, your subject obeys the decree," Emperor Zhenwu nodded.

At this moment, many immortals mourned for Sun Wukong.

Emperor Zhenwu's reputation in the Heavenly Court was also illustrious.

………………………………

"We are about to reach the Heavenly Court," Guanyin said, looking at the increasingly visible South Heaven Gate.

"Bodhisattva, we shouldn't encounter any Intercepting Sect disciples, right?" Long-Eared Dingguang Buddha asked somewhat nervously.

"Long-Eared Dingguang Buddha, I am not afraid of meeting Elucidating Sect disciples, so why do you worry about encountering Intercepting Sect disciples?" Guanyin glanced at Long-Eared Dingguang Buddha.

Guanyin also looked down upon this Buddha who had betrayed the Jie Sect to join the Western Fomen.

Like him betraying the Chan Sect, at least it was after the Investiture of the Gods ended and the Chan Sect had won.

But Long-Eared Dingguang Buddha had betrayed them directly when the Elucidating Sect and Intercepting Sect were fighting fiercely.

He even indirectly caused Tongtian Jiaozhu's defeat.

Such a traitor was something even Guanyin found despicable.

Not to mention looking at Long-Eared Dingguang Buddha's trembling appearance now.

"Moreover, in the Heavenly Court, the Emperor is supreme; you are a guest of the Heavenly Court, and the Emperor will not let anything happen to you, otherwise how would he answer to the Western Fomen?" Guanyin said.

"Hmm, Bodhisattva, what you say makes a lot of sense," Long-Eared Dingguang Buddha thought for a moment and nodded.

"Manjusri, let's go; there is someone waiting for us ahead," Guanyin chuckled and flew forward.

"Welcome, the three of you, to the Heavenly Court to attend the Flat Peach Assembly, but some problems have occurred with this assembly," Taibai Jinxing said, looking at the three people before him.

"Problems occurred?" Guanyin's brows furrowed slightly.

"The three of you, please follow me; His Majesty is already waiting for you in the treasure hall," Taibai Jinxing explained.

Subsequently, Taibai Jinxing brought Guanyin and the others to the Lingxiao Treasure Hall.

At this moment, in the Lingxiao Treasure Hall, there were no other immortals besides the Emperor.

When Taibai Jinxing brought Guanyin and the others here, he took his leave.

"The three of you, this time the monkey demon Sun Wukong destroyed the Flat Peach Assembly and returned to Mount Huaguo, so the Flat Peach Assembly needs to be postponed for some days," the Emperor said slowly. ===== CHAPTER 149 =====
