Chapter 1772

General Juan Lian went to fetch reinforcements, while Marshal Tianpeng flew back to Pingding Mountain.

After all, their senior brother Sun Wukong had been captured by Jin Jiao and Yinjiao, and Marshal Tianpeng hoped to find an opportunity to rescue him.

Even if he couldn't do that, he had to ensure that senior brother Sun Wukong's life was safe.

General Juan Lian flew all the way east toward the direction of Jin Shansi.

As for why General Juan Lian wanted to go to Jin Shansi to fetch reinforcements, the reason was naturally to hope to use Fahai's fearless personality to stir up trouble.

Although Jin Jiao and Yinjiao's strength was not bad, there were many capable people in the Heavenly Court, and it was not as if there were no existences who could take them down.

However, once General Juan Lian went to the Heavenly Court to fetch reinforcements, given that Taishang Laojun was standing behind Jin Jiao and Yinjiao...

... it was likely that at most, they would only receive a simple verbal reprimand, and there would be no opportunity for them to vent their anger.

In that case, the anger in Marshal Tianpeng and General Juan Lian's hearts would have nowhere to be vented, especially watching Jin Jiao and Yinjiao leave just like that.

The anger in their hearts might even grow stronger!

In this situation, General Juan Lian would naturally not go to the Heavenly Court to seek reinforcements, but rather hope to find someone fearless who could even escalate the matter.

In this situation, Fahai was of course the best choice.

Lotus Cave, Pingding Mountain.

The two brothers Jin Jiao and Yinjiao were currently drinking in frustration because they had let Tang Seng and his disciples escape and had only captured Sun Wukong.

They had no idea that Marshal Tianpeng and General Juan Lian were currently digging a huge pit for them—a pit even deep enough to trap Taishang Laojun behind them.

Marshal Tianpeng was now different from before when he had come to Pingding Mountain openly with his master Tang Seng; he had now restrained his magic power and arrived at Pingding Mountain quietly.

Even, in order to hide his identity, Marshal Tianpeng had killed a small demon on Pingding Mountain and transformed into its appearance, sneaking into the Lotus Cave.
