Sun Wukong also let out a miserable cry and fell toward the ground.

Seeing this, the Priest's expression was extremely smug. He dove down, intent on killing the Sun Wukong below.

Sun Wukong fell face-up with a pained expression. It looked as though his entire body was engulfed by the white flames, leaving him with no ability to resist.

However, just as the Priest was about to reach Sun Wukong, his eyes stalled; he seemed to have sensed something unusual.

He saw that although Sun Wukong's clothes were burned to tatters, there was not a single sign of his fur being singed. Instead, a sky-blue radiance emanated from his skin.

"Old thing! You miscalculated!"

Sun Wukong suddenly curled his lips into a smile and his right hand lashed out upward.

The Priest was startled and wanted to gather his Qi to leap upward, but his downward momentum was simply too great; he could not change his flight trajectory.

Sun Wukong's right hand swept across the Priest's neck, instantly snatching away the necklace he wore.

By the time the Priest regained his senses, Sun Wukong was already hovering in the air, wearing only a half-charred tiger-skin skirt, while in his hand, he held a blue necklace that looked like it was made of jade.

"You—why are you not afraid of my fire?"

The Priest's eyes widened in shock as he looked at Sun Wukong, speaking with extreme horror. ===== CHAPTER 2019 =====
