Chapter 2193

"I am only worried about your injuries, and Red Boy's; this wound nearly cost you your life."

Red Lotus Enchantress turned her head to glance at Red Boy beside her; his body was trembling slightly, his face pale, as if he were struggling to remain kneeling on the spot.

"This was all the doing of that guy, Young Master Yu; he even deals vicious blows to his own people."

Red Lotus Enchantress looked toward the black smoke and spoke immediately.

"Oh—" a long sigh came from within the black smoke, then it said, "Young Master Yu? This fellow never belonged here in the first place. I gave him power, yet I did not expect him to harbor ulterior motives. I should have foreseen it; this matter is also my fault for not anticipating it in advance."

The expression in Red Lotus Enchantress's eyes shifted slightly. This Evil Emperor was just like this; his mood swings were a sickness. When he was happy, no matter what mistakes you made, he would care for and forgive you in a thousand ways. But when he was angry, if you committed even the slightest error, or if it were merely because he was in a bad mood, you would know just how cruel his methods could be.
