Chapter 2551: Wu Feng Reveals the Ending

Wu Feng smiled, a bright smile curling at the corners of his mouth. He looked at Tianpeng and said, "Then listen well, Tianpeng. You are sentimental all your life, and many things you seek, you cannot obtain. You should have a deep understanding of this."

"Rulai set up a great scheme for the myriad heavens back then, letting you all step onto the road to the Western Heaven."

"His goal, I can actually tell you now, is to have you all eventually become Buddhas."

Upon hearing this, Tianpeng's eyes were shocked, and he said, "Become Buddhas? I don't want to become a Buddha! What kind of Buddha would I become? I can't drink wine, I can't eat meat, and I can't even be with the person I like."

Sun Wukong was also stunned at this moment. He looked at Wu Feng and said, "Wu Feng, is all of this true? How do you know?"

Wu Feng swept a glance at the two and said indifferently, "Believe me, I have long since calculated the ending."

Of course, Wu Feng would not tell them that he had traveled from a later age and had long known the ending of "Journey to the West"; he only told them that all of this was calculated by him.

Wu Feng's peerless talent also gave Tianpeng and Sun Wukong every reason to believe him.

At this time, Wu Feng said again, "However, this ending seems to be a qualitative change formed by the Kalpa Tribulation, unchangeable."

"But, if there is an external force, the ending will change."

Sun Wukong rolled his eyes a few times, looked at Wu Feng, and said, "What is an external force?"

Wu Feng smiled and said, "There are many external forces; factors in every aspect are possible. For example, I am that external force."

Tianpeng stared at Wu Feng for a long time, then he said, "Senior Wu Feng, can you guarantee that if I reach the Western Heaven and obtain the true scriptures, I will be able to escape Rulai's control and do what I want to do?"

Wu Feng smiled at Tianpeng and said, "Of course, I can guarantee it to you."

Tianpeng looked at Sun Wukong at this moment and said, "Good, then let's go save Master right now!"

Sun Wukong also didn't understand how Tianpeng had changed his mind after just a few words from Wu Feng.

Seeing that Tianpeng had already activated the true Qi in his body, Sun Wukong immediately manifested the Somersault Cloud under his feet, reached out to pull Tianpeng, and leaped out of the Water Curtain Cave.

Wu Feng looked back outside the cave; it was bright, with beautiful mountains and clear waters.

The monkeys in the Water Curtain Cave watched Sun Wukong's departing figure, their eyes filled with incomparable loneliness, saying, "The Great King has left again!"

At this time, Sun Wukong was carrying Tianpeng, moving at lightning speed toward the Western Heaven.

Seven hundred miles past the Thorn Ridge, they saw a temple standing on top of a high mountain.

Sun Wukong turned his direction and dove toward the ground. In the blink of an eye, the two landed on the ground.

They saw that this temple looked magnificent and actually quite majestic.

Sun Wukong frowned, his eyes filled with vigilance, and said, "Such heavy demon Qi!"

Tianpeng looked up at the plaque at the entrance of the temple, suddenly pointed at it, and said in shock, "Senior Brother, look at what is written on it?"

"Small Lei Yinsi?"

Sun Wukong narrowed his eyes, looked at the writing, and read it softly.

Lei Yinsi was rumored to be the destination of the journey to the Western Heaven and where the Buddha resided; why was there a Small Lei Yinsi here? What did it mean?

"Thump!"

A hollow and distant sound of a bronze bell rang out from within the temple.

"Wukong, Bajie, I, the Buddha, know that your journey to the Western Heaven to obtain scriptures has been hard, so I have set up this Small Lei Yinsi here to let you obtain the true scriptures in advance. You may enter."

A hollow and distant voice suddenly rang out from within the temple; the voice sounded very much like Rulai. ===== CHAPTER 2553 =====
