Chapter 2610
"Wukong, Bajie, Wujing, why have you come!"
In the royal bedchamber, Tang Seng was chatting with the King about the journey to the Western Heaven when he saw the palace official bringing Sun Wukong and his group, and he felt extremely puzzled.
He remembered that before leaving, he had only told his disciples to find an inn to stay in and get some vegetarian food, but who would have thought they would actually come to the royal palace.
Tianpeng complained with a full face: "Master, it's all that dead monkey's fault for teasing me into posting that medical notice. Now that I've been brought here, how would I know what kind of illness this dead monkey can treat?"
"Wukong, how could you do this?"
Tang Seng was about to lecture Sun Wukong, but Sun Wukong patted his chest confidently and said: "Don't worry, when have I, Old Sun, ever boasted? Leave it to me!"
The King of Zhuzi Kingdom was also full of confusion, but after the introduction by the official in charge, he finally understood the situation and was overjoyed: "Master Sanzang, so they are all your beloved disciples. Since they can treat my illness, why not introduce them quickly!"
"King, I don't know how to treat illnesses, but my senior brother does. I'm just here to mooch off some food and drink. After traveling for several days, I, Old Pig, am exhausted!"
After Zhu Bajie finished speaking, he unceremoniously grabbed the fruit platter in front of the King and stuffed it into his mouth. Who would have thought he would accidentally pull off the white cloth covering his face, immediately revealing a fat, big-eared pig face, which scared the King into fainting on the spot.
"Someone, the King has fainted!"
The eunuchs and maids serving nearby were scared out of their wits.
"Someone, lock these demons up for me!"
The eunuch hurriedly ordered the soldiers to surround Tang Seng and his disciples, and they were thrown into the dungeon for causing the King to faint.
Poor Tianpeng didn't get a big meal and instead suffered the disaster of imprisonment.
"You dead idiot, it's all your fault. You only know how to eat and ruined my good plan!"
Sun Wukong was left speechless by Tianpeng; his original plan to practice medicine and save people had completely fallen through.
"Can you blame me? It's that King who is too easily frightened. I'm the one who's wronged; I was fine outside, but you had to get involved in the King's messy business. Now look, we're all locked up, and I don't know what kind of suffering we'll have to endure later!"
Tianpeng ran to a corner, sat down facing the wall, and sulked.
Just then, a golden light suddenly appeared, and all the guards who saw it were hit; they stared with wide eyes and stood motionless, likely having been hit by some kind of immobilization spell.
Immediately, a heroic monk holding Buddhist beads and with a bare chest appeared before Tang Seng and the others. The first thing the newcomer said was: "Master Sanzang, Great Sage, I've finally found you. Why are you locked in the dungeon?"
"It's all that dead monkey's fault!"
Seeing Fahai arrive, Tianpeng felt as if he had seen a lifeline; he immediately stood up and said excitedly: "Fahai, you've come at the right time, hurry and save us!"
"This...?"
Fahai was speechless for a moment. How could this tiny dungeon possibly trap them? They just didn't want to use their magic power to escape.
"Don't listen to this dead idiot. Fahai, since we last parted, why are you in such a hurry to find us now?"
Sun Wukong was sharp-minded and saw that Fahai's visit was likely not simple; otherwise, why would he be in such a rush?
Fahai hurriedly said: "Great Sage, you don't know, I really have urgent business with you. I originally wanted to find the Saint Wu Feng, but unfortunately, I heard that Saint Wu Feng hasn't been at the grocery store lately, so I wanted to ask you, Great Sage, to help me contact Saint Wu Feng!"
