Chapter 1015: Prototype of the Heavenly Dao! Suppression by the Origin of the Great Dao!
Having been suppressed so many times by the Sacred Beast Bai Hu using the Great Dao's Changhe, it's time to reverse the suppression once.
Anyway, it's almost over; no need to care about the consumption of magic power.
The power of the Sword Great Dao far surpasses that of the Jin Zhi Great Dao.
As the Sword Great Dao's Changhe manifested, the Jin Zhi Great Dao's Changhe was instantly crushed by the piercing brilliance, offering not the slightest suppression.
Moreover, the Sword Great Dao's Changhe began to suppress Bai Hu's avatar.
Once pressed by the Sword Great Dao's Changhe, Bai Hu's avatar froze completely.
This is the weakness of the Jin Zhi Great Dao's true spirit.
Becoming a Great Dao's true spirit indeed greatly enhances the vitality of a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
Granting the Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian near-immortality.
Yet many Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian still refuse to become Great Dao's true spirits.
There are roughly two reasons for this.
The first reason is that once one becomes the true spirit of a certain Great Dao, it becomes extremely difficult to comprehend other Great Daos.
Most Great Daos naturally repel one another.
After a cultivator comprehends one Great Dao, the difficulty of comprehending others increases significantly.
Thus, it's clear how monstrous Luo Fu is for comprehending all three thousand Great Daos.
If one merely seeks to comprehend Great Daos, though they influence each other and raise the difficulty, it's still possible to comprehend others if one's talent and insight are strong enough.
Even mutually restraining Great Daos can be comprehended.
Luo Fu is a living example.
But becoming a Great Dao's true spirit is different.
Becoming a Great Dao's true spirit means fusing entirely with the Great Dao.
And the Great Dao itself is extremely pure, incapable of containing any impurity.
Even mutually complementary Great Daos find it hard to merge.
Of course, this mutual fusion refers to the direct merging of Great Dao origins.
If not through direct fusion of Great Dao origins, but via a medium to bind them together, it's still possible.
The Great Dao origin is the purest thing.
Once one becomes a Great Dao's true spirit, one can only walk one path to the end.
Unless one fundamentally alters the Great Dao origin, one can only comprehend this single Great Dao.
This drawback is not really a drawback for ordinary Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
To comprehend one Great Dao to the Hunyuan layer is already extremely difficult for a typical Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
Every one who breaks through to become a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian has exceptional talent and can be called a prodigy.
But even exceptional talent becomes inadequate at the Hunyuan layer.
The Great Dao is arduous; at the Hunyuan layer, every step forward is excruciatingly difficult, demanding higher talent and insight.
It also demands great fortune and destiny.
Ordinary Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian expend countless eons and fortune just to elevate one Great Dao to the Hunyuan layer and successfully break through to become a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
To break another Great Dao to the Hunyuan layer amid interference from the first requires even longer time—even for a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
After all, the first Great Dao to break through to the Hunyuan layer is usually the one the cultivator is most skilled in, and the one with the highest talent.
Even the highest-talent Great Dao requires countless Wushuyuan Society to break through to the Hunyuan layer; how much more so for other, relatively lower-talent Great Daos?
Until the second Great Dao breaks through to the Hunyuan layer, a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian's combat power gains almost no increase.
Below the Hunyuan layer and above it are entirely different.
Below the Hunyuan layer, one is but an ant.
Similarly, Great Daos not yet mastered are nearly useless to a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
A Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian has already gained the ability to summon Great Dao origins.
Unmastered Great Daos are suppressed before the Great Dao origin; even attempting to use them becomes impossible.
Even mighty Great Daos like Time and Space, when encountering an ordinary Great Dao like Jin Zhi, are suppressed and rendered unusable.
Mastering the Great Dao origin and not mastering it are two entirely different tiers—one heaven, one earth.
The Hunyuan Eternal Open Heaven Sword did not collapse under the suppression of the Jin Zhi Great Dao origin because the three thousand Great Daos form a unified whole, sharing the burden and dividing the suppression.
Moreover, the three thousand Great Daos fused into one resemble an embryonic form of the Heavenly Dao, their power level not much lower than that of a Great Dao origin.
Simply gathering the three thousand Great Daos does not allow one to resist Great Dao origin suppression at the peak of a Pre-Sage.
Three thousand Pre-Sages, each skilled in different Great Daos, still suffer immense suppression when facing a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
Of course, the three thousand Pre-Sages sharing the burden can offset part of the suppression.
The Great Dao origin of a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian is not infinite; it has its limits.
When quantity accumulates to a certain degree, it can trigger a qualitative change.
But offsetting part is not offsetting all.
Even if three thousand Pre-Sages fight together before a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian, coordinating perfectly, they still suffer at least fifty percent suppression of their power.
This is the suppression they endure.
And their Great Dao power, when striking the Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian,
Must face the Great Dao origin's suppression directly—this cannot be shared.
After all, they cannot fuse the three thousand Great Daos into one like Luo Fu.
The suppressed Great Dao power barely inflicts any damage on the Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian.
Thus, if three thousand Pre-Sages encounter a Hunyuan Dafu Jinxian without forming a great array, they can only be slaughtered like ants.
For those Yuanhuan Dala Jin Xian with relatively average talent and average fortune, it is better to focus deeply on one Dao rather than cultivate many.
Variety is inferior to mastery.
Even a single Dao, cultivated to a certain realm, is sufficient to overpower peers.
The path of the Dao leads to the same destination; whether broad or deep, the deeper one comprehends it, the more astonishing the combat power becomes.
Becoming a Dao True Spirit, uniting oneself with the Dao, undoubtedly brings great benefits, greatly enhancing one's affinity with the Dao and reducing the difficulty of comprehending it.
Nothing understands the Dao better than the Dao itself.
For ordinary Yuanhuan Dala Jin Xian, if this were the only drawback, becoming a Dao True Spirit would certainly be a shortcut.
What truly discourages most Yuanhuan Dala Jin Xian from becoming a Dao True Spirit is its second drawback.
That is the Dao's shackles.
Daos have hierarchies; powerful Daos naturally suppress weaker ones.
Merely comprehending the Dao means that even if the Dao is suppressed and one's strength weakened, there is still some capacity to resist.
