Chapter 1144: Heaven
Similar to Luo Fu's case, across the entire Chaos World, one such anomaly appears only after countless eons.
Only in the Heavens and Myriad Worlds could a being like Luo Fu possibly be born.
Since Ancestor Hongjun has determined that Luo Fu is concealing his true origin, what he must do next is strip away Luo Fu's disguise and uncover the true nature of Luo Fu's origin.
Shhh!
A chaotic-colored radiance rose from the top of Ancestor Hongjun's head.
A jade disc, entwined with boundless Dao rhythms, upon which countless Great Dao currents flowed, was summoned forth by Ancestor Hongjun.
This jade disc was none other than the legendary Heaven's Dao Jade Disc.
The Heaven's Dao Jade Disc recorded the Three Thousand Great Dao, and was Ancestor Hongjun's most important spiritual treasure.
Without the Heaven's Dao Jade Disc as a medium, Ancestor Hongjun could never have infiltrated the Primordial World's Heaven's Dao.
Unlike ordinary Hunyuan worlds, the Primordial World possesses infinite depth.
Though the Primordial World today remains merely a Hunyuan world, not yet ascended to a higher tier, its Heaven's Dao is not weak.
Ordinary Heaven's Dao-level cultivators, without special advantages, if they enter the Primordial World, face but one fate: immediate suppression by the Heaven's Dao.
Even though Ancestor Hongjun is considered strong among Heaven's Dao-level beings, within the Primordial World—the Heaven's Dao's own domain—he is no match for the Heaven's Dao.
Without the Heaven's Dao Jade Disc as a medium, if Ancestor Hongjun dared invade the Heaven's Dao, he would inevitably face its maximum counterattack and be crushed by the Heaven's Dao's full power.
The Heaven's Dao cannot be easily seized.
If the Heaven's Dao could be seized so easily, then across the entire Chaos World, there would scarcely be any Heaven's Dao left—every one would have been replaced by cultivators.
After all, becoming the Heaven's Dao is considered a tremendous opportunity for many cultivators.
Under normal circumstances, to replace the Heaven's Dao, one must either possess a strength realm far superior to the Heaven's Dao, and forcibly suppress and devour it.
But if one's strength realm has already surpassed the Heaven's Dao, devouring and replacing it becomes a pointless, exhausting endeavor.
Once replacing the Heaven's Dao, one becomes bound to the world, sharing its glory and its ruin.
One cannot leave the world, and to further increase one's strength, one must strengthen the world itself.
The difficulty of elevating a world is billions upon billions of times greater than a cultivator raising their realm.
After all, a cultivator's scale is utterly negligible compared to the entire world.
If one views the world as a cultivator, then a Hunyuan world is equivalent to a Heaven's Dao-level being.
To further elevate a Hunyuan world requires energy roughly tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of times greater than that of a Heaven's Dao-level being.
Moreover, to achieve breakthrough in a Hunyuan world, most of the Three Thousand Great Dao must themselves break through to Heaven's Dao level.
To break through even dozens of the Three Thousand Great Dao to Heaven's Dao level is already enough to dominate the Chaos Void—unless a Half-Dao-level being appears, few could stand against such power.
To comprehend one-third of the Three Thousand Great Dao at Heaven's Dao level makes even a Half-Dao-level being potentially confrontable.
But once one becomes the Heaven's Dao, even if one comprehends one-third of the Three Thousand Great Dao at Heaven's Dao level, without vast quantities of energy, the world cannot be elevated.
And a newly elevated Hunyuan world is only equivalent to a Half-Dao-level being.
Compared to cultivators, a world's growth is extremely slow; to become strong by devouring the Heaven's Dao requires enduring eons of torment.
If one's Dao heart is not firm enough to remain unshaken through countless calamities, one's consciousness may be worn away by endless time, ultimately becoming truly the Heaven's Dao.
Thus, for those strong enough to forcibly devour the Heaven's Dao, replacing it is a pointless, exhausting endeavor.
Aside from overpowering the Heaven's Dao and forcibly devouring it, there are other ways to devour and replace the Heaven's Dao.
That way is merit.
Merit is the reward granted for benefiting the world.
If one accumulates enough merit, becoming a Saint is effortless.
The Six Saints of the Primordial World obtained their Saint positions through merit and fortune.
If Saint positions can be exchanged, so too can the position of Heaven's Dao Lord.
Taking the Primordial World as an example, if someone acquires merit equal to the combined merit of the Six Saints, they can become the Heaven's Dao Lord.
The merit possessed by the Six Saints of the Primordial World is immense; acquiring such vast merit is nearly impossible.
The only one who could possibly obtain such merit is Pangu.
The Primordial World was opened by Pangu; for the Primordial World, Pangu's merit is immeasurable.
Beyond Pangu, no one else can obtain such immense merit.
Even Ancestor Hongjun's merit falls far short of this standard.
Thus, this path is nearly impossible to walk.
Ancestor Hongjun was able to infiltrate the Primordial World's Heaven's Dao solely because he obtained the Heaven's Dao Jade Disc.
The Heaven's Dao Jade Disc records the Three Thousand Great Dao of the Primordial World.
In a certain sense, the Three Thousand Great Dao of the Primordial World were woven together through the Heaven's Dao Jade Disc.
This is also one reason why Pangu was able to open the Primordial World.
Opening a world is no simple matter.
Especially a world as complete as the Primordial World.
In the Chaos Void, worlds like the Primordial World are almost entirely naturally born; artificially opened Hunyuan worlds are exceedingly rare.
Of course, "rare" here refers only to Hunyuan worlds as complete and harmonious as the Primordial World, possessing all Three Thousand Great Dao.
For many powerful Heaven's Dao-level beings, opening a Hunyuan world is not overly difficult.
The Hunyuan Eternal Open Heaven Sword Luo Fu previously condensed contained a Hunyuan world.
However, the Hunyuan Eternal Open Heaven Sword was primarily based on the Sword Dao, making it a Hunyuan world belonging to the Sword Dao.
Such a Hunyuan world is incomplete and possesses far less power than the Primordial World.
Most Heaven's Dao-level beings open worlds similar to this Sword Dao Hunyuan world.
Even Heaven's Dao-level beings comprehend only a very limited number of Dao paths.
