Chapter 1304: Beyond the Power of the Dao!
The stronger the realm, the stronger the Primordial Spirit and physical body, and the greater the power they can unleash.
The same Dao insight, when able to output one unit of magic power versus one and a half units, naturally results in a difference in combat power.
The realm determines the amount of magic power one can output.
Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian possess an immeasurable amount of magic power; for them, who can summon Dao power at any time, exhausting their magic power is nearly impossible.
Unless they appear in a place that severs Dao power, most Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian will never run out of magic power in their entire lives.
Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian merge with the Dao and can communicate with and summon the Dao at any moment to replenish their magic power.
With constant replenishment, how could they ever run out?
Most Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian consume Dao power no faster than it is replenished.
Therefore, for Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian, explosive power is extremely critical.
With immeasurable magic power, the more magic power one can output, the stronger their combat power becomes.
Dao insight also requires magic power to support it, in order to unleash greater power.
The realm determines how much Dao power one can contain and thus how much Dao power one can unleash.
The higher the realm, the stronger the Primordial Spirit and physical body, and the more Dao power one can summon and withstand.
Of course, even Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian have an upper limit to how much Dao power they can unleash—this limit is the total amount of Dao power they can contain.
No matter how strong their explosive power, they can only unleash all their internal Dao power in an instant, never more than that.
Power does not arise from nothing.
It is like a pistol: no matter how fast you fire, you can only discharge the maximum number of bullets in the magazine, never more.
However, under normal circumstances, Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian rarely unleash all their internal Dao power at once.
Unless they master a special technique, it is extremely difficult to unleash all their internal Dao power in a single burst.
The strength of the Primordial Spirit and physical body indeed determines how much Dao power one can unleash.
But under normal circumstances, the stronger the Primordial Spirit and physical body, the more Dao power one can contain.
When total capacity increases, even if more Dao power can be unleashed, the proportional increase is actually not significant.
Without mastering certain special methods, a typical Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian can never fully unleash their power to its extreme.
The technique to unleash all internal power at once is not obtainable by ordinary people, nor can ordinary people master it.
Therefore, among Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian of the same realm, the difference in the amount of Dao power they can unleash is not great.
When the amount of power used is not significantly different, what determines combat strength can only be Dao insight.
In addition, the strength of magic power also determines, to some extent, combat strength.
How much Dao power one can unleash determines quantity.
The strength of magic power determines quality.
Both quality and quantity determine, to some extent, the strength of power.
Of course, compared to quantity, quality has relatively less impact on the combat power of Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian.
Beyond the Hunyuan layer, the quality of magic power has a tremendous impact on combat power.
To some extent, the quality of magic power is a direct manifestation of the realm.
Of course, this impact primarily exists between different realms.
For example, Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian are vastly stronger than Quasi-Saints because Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian are beings of the Dao and can directly summon Dao power.
Compared to the magic power of Quasi-Saints, Dao power is far stronger.
In addition to having stronger Dao insight than Quasi-Saints, Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian also wield far stronger magic power.
Magic power and Dao insight are mutually reinforcing.
Both magic power and Dao insight are stronger than those of Quasi-Saints.
And this superiority is a fundamental difference.
Naturally, the gap between Quasi-Saints and Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian becomes as vast as a chasm.
Below the Hunyuan layer, although there are differences in Dao insight and magic power between each realm, these differences lack a qualitative change.
Whether Quasi-Saint or Dala Jin Xian, both use magic power.
But Quasi-Saints and Hunyuan Dala Jin Xian are different: the former possess magic power, while the latter possess Dao power.
