Chapter 1421: Breakthrough to the Half Dao Level

Not only the second layer, but after the sword qi tore through the second layer's spatial barrier, it immediately faced the third layer's spatial barrier.

The sharp sword qi continuously tore through the spatial barriers.

As time passed, the power contained within the sword qi was gradually consumed.

He did not know that all the power consumed by the sword qi remained within the space condensed by Ancestor Hongjun.

Some of the spatial barriers torn by the sword qi were formed from this very power it had expended.

After continuing for some time, the power contained within the sword qi was finally almost entirely worn away.

Crack!

Boom!

Without the slightest warning, Ancestor Hongjun directly detonated the just-formed world.

Terrifying destruction surged through the entire space.

The sword qi within the space, upon being struck by the destruction, shattered completely along with the space itself.

This is the strength of the Spatial Dao.

To casually manipulate space, condense it, elevate or lower its dimension, is enough to toy with peers of the same realm.

Although the legendary avatar projection fused five versions of himself, greatly increasing its power, and the Chaos Eternal Open Heaven Sword had also received some enhancement.

But compared to Ancestor Hongjun, there remained a noticeable gap.

If Luo Fu removed all his restrictions, he could close this gap.

Without removing the restrictions, closing it would be difficult.

"This is merely the true power of the Primordial Infinite Great Luo Jinxian—through the Three Thousand Daos, one can forcibly amplify a Dao, but compared to true Heaven Dao level, the gap remains substantial."

As he spoke, Ancestor Hongjun released the aura of his Spatial Dao, pressing it toward the Chaos Eternal Open Heaven Sword.

Clang!

Under Ancestor Hongjun's suppression, the Spatial Dao contained within the Chaos Eternal Open Heaven Sword was firmly locked within the blade, unable to be activated.

A Dao amplified by external means is indeed suppressed when facing the original Dao.

Of course, under normal circumstances, the suppression would not be this severe.

The reason the Chaos Eternal Open Heaven Sword suffered such intense suppression is that Ancestor Hongjun's mastery of the Spatial Dao was no weakling's.

In fact, Ancestor Hongjun's realm was nearly at the limit of the Primordial Infinite Great Luo Jinxian, with only a single step remaining before breaking through to the Half Dao Level.

Of course, this single step had held Ancestor Hongjun back for a very long time.

Precisely because his realm had been stuck for so long, Ancestor Hongjun knew that without external aid, he could almost never become a Half Dao Level cultivator.

Thus, after obtaining the Heaven Dao Jade Disc, Ancestor Hongjun unhesitatingly chose to devour the Heaven Dao, using the Primordial World to break through to the Half Dao Level.
