Chapter 2360: The Seal of Hongjun Is Hard to Break!

"You all know full well that this cave seals two ancient magic treasures—if we go near, we might be struck down..."

As he spoke, Yinglong suddenly realized.

Yet he also felt it was wrong for them to act this way now; if the cave truly would force them into retreat, why lower their own morale so much?

"Still no better idea?"

"There's nothing left to think about—we need a foundation to cooperate or negotiate with Luo Fu."

Zhu Yan made up his mind and understood: they had already taken the wrong path from the start.

In truth, they shouldn't have detained Bai Ze, nor should they have detained Tianzhu Xuanwu; and if Bai Ze and Tianzhu Xuanwu didn't harbor resentment, they could have cooperated.

Even if they now regretted it, they could not turn things back.

If they truly did this, some things they had considered were indeed important.

"That part is truly fine."

"But the magic treasures inside the cave aren't something we can easily obtain—after all, even the great sages of Honghuang couldn't take them."

Zhu Yan wondered: if they didn't try, how would they know they couldn't get them?

Especially after hearing about the Immortal-Slaying Formation Diagram and the Seven Treasures Marvelous Tree, they wanted to give it a try.

This place might not be what they truly wanted, but it could still help—if they could get Luo Fu to do them one favor, even just slightly opening the barrier would suffice.

With Luo Fu's ability, opening the barrier would be as easy as flipping his hand.

"Let's go, let's try—it won't hurt to try!"

"Fine, I'll go with you and try!"

The magic treasures sealed within the cave were truly powerful, and unlike any they had seen before; to escape Zhenyao Mountain, they absolutely needed a defensive magic treasure.

The most powerful defensive magic treasure was the Heaven-Earth-Xuan-Huang Linglong Tower, which happened to be sealed inside the cave.
