Chapter 2506: Familiar Mark!

On the other side, Gonggong and Zhurong, after obtaining the New Moon Treasure Disc, rode hard toward the Thirty-Three Heavens Beyond, following the alternate path Luo Fu had shown them.

Along the way, they encountered many demon clan members, as well as humans being hunted down by the demon clan.

Gonggong could not help but feel sorrowful.

"The human race has been reduced to almost nothing by the demon clan; the few remaining humans are scattered everywhere, fleeing in all directions—no one knows if the human race can survive in the Primordial Chaos."

Zhurong glanced at him—he had never been this way before; why had he suddenly changed?

He looked at the evolved Divine Fire Whiplash in his hand and felt somewhat reassured—Luo Fu had been kind to him; this Divine Fire Whiplash could instantly kill a Semi-Sage.

As long as he landed a hit, that would be enough!

They had once fought inside the Illusory Heaven Mirror, and even Gonggong's Broken Jade Hook had failed to repel the Divine Fire Whiplash.

Now, they could only slowly search for other solutions, to understand clearly.

Zhurong said, "The human race and the demon clan were always meant to go through this—the human race and the demon clan have already drifted apart; Nüwa and Fuxi and the others will surely drift apart from the demon clan too; this is good for us."

"It is indeed good, but the human race is still pitiful," Gonggong said.

"Jiufeng has already gone to find the Yan and Huang Emperors; he carries the Lotus Lantern, which can protect the human race—if the humans learn how to use it, all will be well."

Gonggong finally relaxed.

He and Zhurong had just emerged from the Illusory Heaven Mirror, so much of this was unclear—they only learned the truth after Zhurong directly asked Luo Fu.

So much had happened in the Primordial Chaos in just one or two days since their departure—it was truly unbelievable.

But it was not incomprehensible; after all, the Primordial Chaos is vast, and anything is possible.

"Let's go—we must expose the demon clan's treachery."

"Agreed."
