Chapter 2517: My Lord Demon Emperor Really Knows How to Have Fun!

Inside the Demon Emperor's Hall.

Donghuang Taiyi and Di Jun were inside recovering from their injuries, surrounded by many Luo Jinxian of the demonic race, all of whom had been hired back with vast sums of gold.

Some of these Luo Jinxian had reached the peak of the Pre-Sage stage and were on the verge of attaining sainthood.

When they saw the state of Donghuang Taiyi and Di Jun, they felt something was amiss—especially Di Jun, whose entire body seemed like a gathering and dispersing mass of vengeful spirits.

"My Lord Donghuang, the Demon Emperor…?"

"Enough talk—saving lives comes first!"

Donghuang Taiyi roared: "Seal all news! Do not let a single soul outside learn of the Demon Emperor's condition—immediately suppress all information!"

After speaking, Donghuang Taiyi paused and realized that Nüwa and Fuxi had likely already guessed.

He was about to speak, but his thoughts flashed like lightning—he knew that if Nüwa and Fuxi truly revealed the Demon Emperor's consumption of the Soul- Gathering Pill, it would bring them no benefit either.

It would be better to simply release Nüwa and Fuxi back to Nüwa Palace, letting them hide there forever, sparing everyone the trouble.

The demonic race and these two had already grown distant; why not make this a convenient gesture of goodwill?

In just these few breaths, Donghuang Taiyi, after a fierce inner struggle, immediately summoned a minor demon waiting outside the hall.

"Immediately send Feilian and Jimeng to escort Nüwa and Fuxi back to Nüwa Palace. Withdraw all demonic beings from Nüwa Palace and recall them to the Demon Court."

"Tell Nüwa and Fuxi to rest easy—so long as they refuse, the demonic race will force them to do nothing. But one condition: they must never, for all eternity, betray the demonic race or aid the Witch Clan!"

Upon hearing this, the Luo Jinxian present exchanged stunned glances.

Had Nüwa and Fuxi truly broken ties with the Demon Court?
