Chapter 493
Saints Zhunti and Jieyin were naturally stunned by this.
"Brother, who could it be? Who could possibly stir the Great Dao's resonance?" Zhunti said in disbelief. "Could someone have broken through to the Heavenly Dao Realm?"
He had seen others break through to the Yuan Great Luo layer before.
Clearly, not even the Heavenly Dao could manifest such vast purple qi.
Now,
nearly all of the Primordial World was shrouded in boundless purple qi.
This was downright terrifying.
"Breakthrough to the Great Dao Realm?" Jieyin's eyes gleamed. "That should be impossible. The other Saints couldn't possibly achieve this."
"Exactly," Zhunti nodded. "Could a powerful being from the Chaos World have entered the Primordial World?"
The Chaos World is endless.
Zhunti himself believed there must be demonic gods of Yuan Great Luo level within it.
Even demonic gods of Heavenly Dao level might exist—no one could say for sure.
Yet due to the Primordial World's unique nature, perhaps such Heavenly Dao-level demonic gods have yet to be discovered.
So Zhunti thought it not impossible that a Chaos demonic god entering the Primordial World could cause such cosmic upheaval.
"That should be impossible," Jieyin said gravely. "If an external powerhouse entered the Primordial World, he would be suppressed by its Heavenly Dao. And if such an outsider truly had come, we, as Heavenly Dao Saints, should have known immediately."
"That makes sense," Zhunti nodded.
As Heavenly Dao Saints, Zhunti and Jieyin were, in a certain sense, extensions of the Heavenly Dao itself.
If an external powerhouse truly triggered a change in the Heavenly Dao, they should have sensed it at once.
"Then if it's a being of the Primordial World, who could it be?" Zhunti's eyes flickered.
If it were a Primordial powerhouse, what changes would this one bring to the current Wu-Yao calamity?
Remember, as Saints, Zhunti and Jieyin had originally intended to steer the Wu-Yao calamity.
But now—should they still push it forward?
"Perhaps we should go to our Master and seek his counsel," Jieyin said.
"Agreed," Zhunti nodded.
The current state of the Primordial World was growing increasingly incomprehensible to Jieyin and the others.
So visiting their Master might be the best choice.
Immediately, the Two Western Saints, Zhunti and Jieyin, sped swiftly toward the Purple Palace at the Ultimate Heavens.
Ancestral Wu Hall.
"Whoa, what's going on?" Zhu Rong stared at the endless purple qi beyond the heavens, the golden rain falling from the sky, and the legendary beings slowly manifesting one by one.
Zhu Rong even thought he saw beings resembling the Ancestral Wus within the vision.
This made Zhu Rong draw a sharp breath.
"Not only does the Heavenly Dao offer its congratulations—but so does the Great Dao," Di Jiang said, his eyes gleaming as he gazed at the heavens.
"Big Brother, even the Heavenly Dao Saints couldn't possibly achieve Great Dao's congratulations," Sister Xuanming exclaimed in shock.
"Naturally," Di Jiang sneered. "Those Heavenly Dao Saints merely attained sainthood through merit. How could they accomplish this?"
"Houtu, do you know who caused this cosmic transformation?" Di Jiang turned to his younger sister, Houtu.
As the Lord of the Six Paths, his younger sister likely knew more than most.
"I don't know for certain," Houtu sighed softly. "But without doubt, whoever caused this has cosmic power surpassing ordinary Heavenly Dao Saints. As for who it is—I have an answer in my heart."
"Who?" the Ancestral Wu Gonggong asked curiously.
"Luo Fu," Houtu said without hesitation, naming him outright.
The Ancestral Wus were startled, then suddenly felt a flicker of understanding.
If it were the Father God, then causing the Great Dao to offer congratulations would be perfectly natural.
After all, he is Pangu, the Primordial Deity who cleaved open Heaven and Earth.
