Chapter 675: Luo Hou

After years of effort, many of the Western Two Saints' divine abilities can effectively purify demonic qi.

Not just the Western Two Saints, the entire Buddhist sect excels in the path of purification.

Yet even so, due to the gap in realm levels, the Western Two Saints still require considerable time to fully extract the demonic qi.

This journey westward was, to some extent, also aimed at extracting the demonic qi.

The Western Two Saints require so much time to extract the demonic qi because they are not skilled in the Dao of Demons.

If a powerful being skilled in the Dao of Demons were to act, extracting the demonic qi from the earth veins of the Western Continent of Cows would undoubtedly be many times easier.

Each craft has its specialist.

In fact, Luo Fu can accomplish this.

If Luo Fu were to act, he could sweep clean all the demonic qi within the earth veins of the Western Continent of Cows in just a few breaths.

After all, Luo Fu's mastery of the Dao of Demons is no less than that of the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou, and may even surpass him.

The demonic qi left behind by the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou is rootless; encountering someone like Luo Fu, who excels in the Dao of Demons, it is like mice facing cats—helpless and entirely at their mercy.

Yet Luo Fu cannot act, for he is in opposition to the Buddhist sect.

Moreover, Luo Fu cannot reveal that he excels in the Dao of Demons.

In the entire Primordial World, only the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou excelled in the Dao of Demons, and he was the sole mortal enemy of Ancestor Hongjun in his time.

If Luo Fu were to reveal his mastery of the Dao of Demons, Ancestor Hongjun would immediately lock onto him and regard him as the reincarnation of the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou, personally suppressing him.

There are few things that make Ancestor Hongjun exceedingly sensitive, and the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou is certainly one of them.

Luo Fu cannot act personally, but that does not mean there are no other methods.

If there is no powerful being skilled in the Dao of Demons, a spiritual treasure skilled in the Dao of Demons will suffice.

In the entire Primordial World, the only spiritual treasure tied to the Dao of Demons was once owned by the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou—and it was a supreme primordial spiritual treasure.

That treasure was the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus.

One of the four supreme primordial lotus platforms of the Primordial World.

And it is also the goal of Luo Fu's journey.

If he can find the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus, Luo Fu will gain leverage over the Western Two Saints.

This would be a significant aid in reversing the Western Journey's cosmic calamity.

Before revealing his final cards and directly confronting Ancestor Hongjun, Luo Fu must first contend with the Western Two Saints.

This contest is crucial; only by gaining overwhelming advantage in it can Luo Fu preserve his cards to the greatest extent.

So that when Ancestor Hongjun personally enters the fray, he will be met with a great surprise.

Due to the interference of demonic qi, even the Western Two Saints cannot possibly survey the entire Western Continent of Cows.

Yet with the empowerment of the Dao of Demons, Luo Fu can accomplish what the Western Two Saints cannot.

Most importantly, the reason the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus left behind by the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou has not been found is surely because he employed some method to conceal it.

Though defeated by Ancestor Hongjun, the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou did not surrender—he still hoped to revive and return to battle Ancestor Hongjun once more.

Therefore, the method used to conceal the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus must be intimately tied to the Dao of Demons, the very path the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou mastered most.

Moreover, the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus itself is a spiritual treasure formed from the Dao of Demons.

With the Dao of Demons as a guide, and given the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus is currently unclaimed, it is highly likely Luo Fu can resonate with it and detect its location.

That is precisely Luo Fu's plan.

Blending demonic qi with his perception, Luo Fu concealed his form and moved continuously across the Western Continent of Cows.

All necessary arrangements had been made; now he had ample time to slowly investigate every corner of the Western Continent of Cows.

Time passed slowly, and after about half a day, Luo Fu suddenly sensed a faint, elusive resonance from a certain location.

Luo Fu immediately swept his perception over it, inch by inch examining the area. Within moments, he confirmed the location of the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus.

"Finally found it—what an ingenious hiding place!"

Having confirmed its location, Luo Fu could not help but marvel at how cleverly the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou had concealed it.

For he discovered that the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus lay precisely beneath Bombarding Lingshan.

Bombarding Lingshan is the sacred ground of Western Buddhism.

In other words, the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou had hidden the Twelve-Petaled World-Annihilating Black Lotus directly beneath the Western Two Saints' very noses.

Of course, this was likely mere coincidence.

When the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou was alive, the Western Two Saints were insignificant minor figures, utterly unworthy of his notice.

Bombarding Lingshan was established only later.

One can only say that the affairs of the world are so coincidental.

Having remained hidden beneath the Western Two Saints' noses for so long without discovery proves just how astonishing the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou's methods were.

Shhh!

With the Chaos Pearl fully sealing his aura, Luo Fu's form flashed, silently entering beneath Bombarding Lingshan.

When Luo Fu reappeared, he stood before a pitch-black mist, endlessly radiating evil, twisted, and corrupting energy.

This mist was the demonic qi left behind by the Demon Ancestor Luo Hou.
