Chapter 134: The Profound Mystery of the Three Bodies of Buddha, the Buddha Is Originally the Dao!
Disciple, are you about to make another breakthrough?
Jieyin immediately realized this and asked with mixed surprise and joy.
After all, they themselves had once passed through Chen Ku's level, and they knew well that only when a vague feeling arises in the dark, signaling an imminent breakthrough, is it worth secluding oneself to comprehend.
Upon hearing this, Chen Ku didn't say much more.
It's not necessarily a realm advancement.
I, the disciple, merely had a slight insight into cultivation.
He didn't overstate his words.
However, Jieyin still wore a smile.
Hehe, good!
Disciple, feel free to seclude yourself; as your master, I will not let anything disturb you.
Jieyin's high regard for Chen Ku needs no further words.
Therefore, although he is the master, he is willing to guard Chen Ku's Dao.
Of course, although they are now in the Western Heaven and Earth, there are no mighty experts who would be adverse to Chen Ku.
But one cannot guarantee that a resentment storm like before won't coalesce again.
Hearing Jieyin's words, Chen Ku felt warm inside and nodded.
Beside him, Zhunti remained silent, but at this moment he flipped his palm.
Hehe, since my nephew is going into seclusion, I, the poor Daoist, have nothing to assist with.
This Bodhi seed may be of considerable help for your comprehension of the Dao.
As Zhunti's words fell, a Bodhi seed emanating a faint green light and intertwined qi appeared in his palm.
This... how can the disciple afford to accept it?
Chen Ku was startled and blurted out instinctively.
He knew this Bodhi seed was condensed from Zhunti's true form and possesses the efficacy to aid in comprehending the Dao.
More importantly, it takes an entire Yuan Hui to condense just one such seed.
And a Yuan Hui is none other than twelve million nine thousand six hundred years.
It is truly priceless!
Moreover, even for beings like Jieyin and Zhunti, the Bodhi seed's potency does not diminish.
In other words, if Jieyin and Zhunti themselves used it, it could even accelerate their progress to prove the Dao and attain sainthood.
I never expected Master Uncle Zhunti to be so generous, directly bestowing such a treasure upon me today.
Hearing Chen Ku's words, Zhunti gave a light smile and said:
Hehe, what is there to be unable to accept?
My nephew, you are the Western Heaven and Earth's fortune star; you will revive the Western realms and bless countless beings.
This mere Bodhi seed, compared to your contributions, is still somewhat lacking.
Just accept it.
By the end of his words, Zhunti's tone also carried an indisputable feeling.
Seeing this, Chen Ku also saw no need to say more.
In that case, disciple will thank the uncle.
He gave a word of thanks, no longer standing on ceremony, and accepted the Bodhi seed.
Afterwards, without further words, Chen Ku turned and left, returning to his dao field to enter seclusion.
Watching Chen Ku's gradually receding back, Jieyin's face also once again showed a knowing smile.
Hehe, good, good!
He merely sighed in this way.
As for this disciple Chen Ku, Jieyin could be said to like him more and more the more he observed.
Indeed, since witnessing Chen Ku's various actions, the worry and sorrow in Jieyin's brows and eyes have unknowingly diminished considerably.
Of course, Zhunti beside him had a similar reaction.
Both couldn't help but feel some anticipation, wondering what astonishing transformation and advancement would occur when Chen Ku emerges from seclusion this time.
As for Chen Ku's side.
Seated in his dao field, the Bodhi seed hovered in his sea of consciousness, shining brightly and emitting an ineffable spiritual charm and aura.
For a moment, Chen Ku's mind was enlightened, his divine sense penetrated, and his comprehension of the various profound mysteries of the Great Dao became twice as effective with half the effort.
Self and object forgotten, mind undistracted!
This time in seclusion, what he seeks to comprehend is his own cultivation of the Three Bodies of Buddha method.
By now, his Dharma Body and Retribution Body have both been successfully condensed.
Corresponding to the Three Corpses Slaying Method, he is equivalent to having severed the good and evil corpses within the good, evil, and self.
At this moment, his Dharma Body and Retribution Body both fully manifested, vast and unparalleled, with awe-inspiring, heaven-shaking power that seizes the heart and soul.
The Dharma Body is empty and still, inherently pure, pervasive and all-encompassing, capable of giving rise to myriad dharmas; it is unfathomable to ghosts and gods, beyond conjecture.
The Retribution Body, meanwhile, bears a solemn appearance, its wise mind constructs, able to observe all worldly phenomena; this is the fruition of cultivation.
Chen Ku knows that as long as he diligently cultivates without cease, his comprehension of the profound mysteries of the Buddha-Dao will deepen further.
One day, this Retribution Body will also be able to attain perfection without flaw, achieving the fruition of a Retribution Body Buddha.
Besides this, the final aspect of the Three Bodies of Buddha is the Manifestation Body.
The Manifestation Body, also called an incarnation, means a body of transformation.
With the aid of this Manifestation Body, one can enter the womb, exit the womb, display the eight phases of attaining the Dao, and thereby liberate sentient beings.
Besides, the Response Body is also called an 'Incarnation' because when this incarnation appears, it can manifest sageliness in the myriad worlds, the nine heavens and ten earths, and even in the dreams of all beings, etc.
Upon realizing this, Chen Ku's expression shifted.
"In later times, sentient beings say they dreamt of Shijiamouni Fo entering their dreams, spreading the Dharma."
"Could it be... that this is the manifestation of the incarnation's power?"
Chen Ku thought of many things.
Of course, this is ultimately just his current speculation; only when his cultivation advances further in the future will he be able to obtain verification.
At the same time, Chen Ku also realized that the difficulty of cultivating the Response Body, compared to the earlier Reward Body and Dharma Body, would increase by leaps and bounds.
"The Dharma Body is the essence of all phenomena."
"While the Reward Body and Response Body are the appearance and function manifested by the Dharma Body."
"The three are neither separate nor united, complementing each other......"
In Chen Ku's sea of consciousness, numerous insights arose.
This is just like the myriad Dao of the world, eternal and indestructible.
But as a cultivator, how to integrate it into oneself and make it one's own depends on each person's talent and opportunity, etc.
After a long while, Chen Ku finally let out a long breath.
Through this specific sorting and insight, he gradually came to understand the concrete profundity of the Three Bodies Buddha.
Then next, it is time to attempt to condense the Response Body.
With a thought, vast tracts of cosmic order and Daoic divine patterns flowed across his body, profound and ineffable.
However, this was not a manifestation of Chen Ku's own cultivation.
But rather... it is the Dao he intends to sever!
The method of severing the three corpses practiced by sentient beings merely severs one Dao.
But Chen Ku, practicing the method of the Three Bodies Buddha, seeks to sever a hundred Dao, a thousand Dao, ten thousand Dao, and even more, until ultimately countless Dao.
Only thus can he truly understand himself, while also being singular, with limitless upper bounds, immeasurable.
Unbeknownst to him, Chen Ku's eyes half-closed, like an old monk entering meditation.
In his mind, he possessed not only the insights of this lifetime's cultivation, but also myriad memories and realizations of Buddhist profundity from past lives.
Moreover, although Chen Ku is now practicing the profound principles of Buddhism,
he has not abandoned the original Dao of the Mysterious Gate.
As the saying goes, 'The Three Thousand Great Daos lead to the same goal!'
Furthermore, the marvel of Buddhism originally sprang from the Mysterious Gate's Immortal Dao.
Thus, there is also a saying entitled 'Buddha is originally Dao.'
Both have their merits, and Chen Ku is precisely merging them, transforming them entirely into part of his own cultivation.
At one moment, his spirit platform cleared, his Dao heart shone, and his whole being reached a state of utter purity.
Chen Ku hesitated no longer, directly swallowing the Bodhi Seed bestowed by Zhunti, truly beginning this awakening.
The One Dream Ten Thousand Years Great Divine Ability activated, and Chen Ku naturally would not forget this heaven-defying amplifying divine ability within his cultivation.
Pure!
Tranquil!
In Chen Ku's Dao training ground, there were only sheets of auspicious light mingling, auspicious colors bursting forth, mysteriously divine, brilliantly dazzling.
And this retreat of his simply saw a full thousand years slip away silently.
