Interpretation: "Such magnificence, reflected in the eyes of the primordial beings, upon seeing it, all bowed in gratitude to Qi's kindness."

【309】

Emperor Jun and Nüwa had long known of Qi's return today, thus leading the heavenly gods to welcome him; only hearing Emperor Jun loudly proclaim: "Today Qi Huang returns, bringing great benefit to heaven and earth, exalting the name of our Heavenly Court, and showing the weight of our responsibility; the height of this merit is beyond mortal reach."

Interpretation: "Di Jun and Nüwa had long known that Qi would return today, thus they brought the heavenly gods to welcome him; only hearing Di Jun loudly say: \"Today Qi Huang returns, having achieved great merit for heaven and earth, both exalting the name of our Heavenly Court and embodying the weight of our responsibility; the height of this merit is beyond human reach. \""

【314】

"We celebrate Qi Huang, celebrate this merit, celebrate the Heavenly Court!"

Interpretation: "\"Thus we congratulate Qi Huang, congratulate this merit-deed, and congratulate the Heavenly Court! \""

Now translate each.

Now the Qi Emperor has arrived—why aren't you respectfully welcoming him?

As Di Jun's words fell, the heavenly soldiers and generals accumulated in this twenty-element assembly, and the myriad innate deities all bowed and said: "Welcome Divine Heaven's Words Pure and Universal Revering Vast Faithful Wise Teacher Yunmeng Resolves Calamities Purify World Great Heavenly Venerable North Primordial Qi Great Emperor!"

Qi saw this scene for the first time; although he felt it was a bit too extravagant, the smile on his face could not be stopped, so he could only repeatedly raise his hands and say: "Please rise quickly, please rise quickly!"

Only after returning to the God of Heaven's realm did Di Jun of the Lingxiao Palace gradually calm down, able to suppress his smile.

Di Jun had previously ordered that, to celebrate Qi's successful completion of this mission, a grand banquet be held for nine days, during which departments would take turns on duty, while the others could freely attend the feast, with ample spiritual fruits and wine.

At the same time, the great clans previously summoned and subdued from the wilderness were also invited to participate in this banquet, both to let them join the celebration and to demonstrate the strength of the Heavenly Court.

You have still worked hard during this time, Qi.

Di Jun was equally pleased; Qi's journey could be said to have thoroughly spread the Heavenly Court's reputation throughout the wilderness, and at the moment merit descended, countless streams of fortune surged forth.

This is undoubtedly beneficial to everyone, and they naturally rejoiced.

It's nothing, really not hard at all; for the sake of the wilderness, how could one call it hard? Only after this journey will I likely need to retreat into seclusion for a while.

Qi smiled lightly; although he said so, his face still showed a hint of pride, for the scale of this lecture was far greater than that of his previous lecture.

The impact brought was also extremely profound, with different meaning; his previous large-scale lecture had only touched upon the God of Luo Tian, and his understanding of it was still insufficient.

Now Qi is only a step away from entering the Mixed Origin Dao; the gap is self-evident, as different as heaven and earth, so the resulting effect is naturally different.

However, this time the scale is somewhat larger and the places visited more numerous, which is why the time differs little from the previous lecture.

Upon hearing this, Di Jun was somewhat surprised; seeing Qi's face lit with a smile, rather self-satisfied, he could not help but exclaim:

"Qi, are you about to enter the Mixed Origin Dao?!"

Qi nodded, without any intention to conceal it, and said with a smile:

"Although it won't happen that quickly, I do have some confidence; after I return, I will first rest a bit and sleep for a while."

"After waking, I will organize the gains from this lecture; then I will not be far from the Mixed Origin Dao."

Di Jun burst into laughter, knowing Qi's words were modest; saying it's not far, he actually just meant that after Qi awakens this time and does a little organizing, he can break through the God of Luo Tian and achieve the Mixed Origin Dao.

"Now that you have confidence, Qi, the Heavenly Court faces no danger of disturbance; even if the three clans were reborn, there would be no chance of resurgence."

Facing Di Jun's loss of composure, Qi had no intention to interrupt, simply because he knew the pressure was great; now that there was good news, he naturally wanted to let him relax a bit.

In the past, the Heavenly Court lacked a Mixed Origin Dao to hold it steady; no matter how mighty its current momentum, it was ultimately like duckweed on water, never able to be stable.

In the eyes of those great clans of the wilderness, the Heavenly Court was merely taking advantage of the wilderness's emptiness to rise; everything was just luck.

Now that Di Jun knows Qi is about to break through, he naturally cannot help but feel excited.

Seeing Di Jun's emotions ease, Qi smiled and teased: "You had better prepare early; when I eventually enter the Mixed Origin Dao and give a lecture, if the scene is too shabby, that would truly be embarrassing."

Di Jun did not take Qi's teasing to heart; on the contrary, he was enthusiastic and said: "This is only proper; Qi, I will certainly make the scene of your Mixed Origin Dao lecture the greatest in the wilderness, unprecedented and unlikely to be surpassed."

"This will be the first and also the greatest gathering since the establishment of our Heavenly Court."

Qi then waved his hand and said:

"Not that, not that; how excessive this is, also too overwhelming; how vast heaven and earth are, how could we make the wilderness's greatest gathering?"

Upon hearing this, Di Jun was stunned; he seemed to recall never having said they would make the wilderness's greatest gathering, and after a moment he reacted and laughed:

"Good, good, good; then as you say, we will take it as the wilderness's greatest gathering; future generations hearing Qi's name will surely never forget it, how about that?"

Qi then smiled satisfied, and slightly embarrassed said: "This is your request, but since you brought it up yourself, I will accept."

The two glanced at each other, then burst into laughter together; seeing this, the nearby Nüwa stood dumbfounded for a while before sighing: "I have never seen such a shameless person, yet he is my friend; truly astonishing."

Hearing Nüwa's remark, Qi and Di Jun, whose laughter had just subsided, burst out laughing again; Nüwa had not wanted to join, but could not help it, and the three laughed together.

Then wine and feast arrived; the three proceeded directly to drink and enjoy themselves in the Lingxiao Treasure Hall of the God of Heaven's realm, their words full of hope for the future.

When they were all somewhat drunk, Nüwa then softly laughed and said:

"Recalling when we first met, who would have thought we would have today; now looking back, it seems as if we had just walked out of the Yunmeng Marsh, facing countless fierce beasts, powerless, only able to await the great calamity's end by relying on formations."

"Having endured the calamities of fierce beasts and the three clans, our situation was as insignificant as ants; a slight setback could have meant overturning, and we once managed to witness the wilderness's clear and bright scenery."

Upon these words, the three fell into some silence; only after a long while did faint singing drift from the hall, the sky never ceasing to be bright.
