Chapter 1172: Xiao Tian Shi and the Nutcase 14
Having calmed down, Jin Chen could see that Xi Er still lacked a sense of security, perhaps frightened by his words, or perhaps for some other reason.
Because of his unusual upbringing, the way Xi Er could gain a sense of security was also particularly special; simple coaxing had no effect.
Jin Chen held him, his dark green pupils flashing with a smile as he thought of a mischievous good idea.
After getting out of the car and arriving home, the butler waiting outside the black main gate bowed in greeting, but he was somewhat surprised to see Laolunsi.
"Long time no see, Mr. Laolunsi."
"Oh! Yes, long time no see."
Laolunsi was coordinating people to move all his medical equipment over here, holding the phone while greeting the butler, and then sighed, "I have to admit, no matter when, Jin Chen's place always looks like a demon palace."
He hung up the phone, completely unconcerned that Jin Chen might get angry, and gestured with both hands to outline the shape of the mansion.
"Do you understand, buddy? You should raise a few more crows; this place looks…… oh, it also looks like an ash box."
The butler politely smiled and dared not reply, for the master was still here; he feared he himself would become an ash box.
But the familiar attitude between the two was still noticed by Xi Er.
Obviously, this man named Laolunsi was not making his first visit to the house.
This undoubtedly added to Xi Er's inner unease; he feared he would be replaced, even though Laolunsi had no wings.
This made Xi Er's gaze toward Laolunsi filled with doubt and scrutiny.
When Laolunsi sensed the gaze looking back, Xi Er quickly averted his eyes and followed behind Jin Chen.
The next morning.
At the first light of dawn, Xi Er was awakened by Jin Chen; seeing that Jin Chen had already left the bedroom, the still-sleepy Xi Er remained dazed.
After a moment, he gradually realized what Jin Chen had said, frowning in puzzlement.
"Punishment……"
"Is it because of yesterday's incident? But why punish so early?"
Xi Er didn't understand, but he was very obedient; following instructions, he didn't take off his pajamas, washed up, and then went to find Jin Chen.
In the room near the outside garden, Jin Chen sat by the grand piano waiting.
Jin Chen turned on all the lights for the first time; the room was bright and spacious, with only the piano near the window, a white short-pile wool carpet covering the entire floor, a floor-to-ceiling mirror almost occupying the whole wall in front of the piano, and an easel opposite.
Just as Xi Er was about to enter, he saw a gift bag hanging on the door handle.
He took it and went inside, seeing Jin Chen seated beside the piano, his eyes flashing with delighted smiles.
The bright light dispelled the gloom that always seemed to linger around Jin Chen; his deep, mixed-heritage brows and eyes, now smiling, looked less grim and frightening.
Xi Er stepped lightly toward Jin Chen, but he was not allowed to embrace him.
Jin Chen tapped his head and said softly, "The dress in the gift bag, change into it for me to see."
Having failed to get a kiss, Xi Er pouted, casually sitting on the carpet to avoid the long dress inside the bag.
It was very pretty, and it seemed to have a special fragrance.
Xi Er held it up to smell, not noticing the smile in Jin Chen's eyes.
"Do you like it?" Jin Chen asked him, his mood seeming especially good today.
"I like it."
Xi Er looked at Jin Chen's appreciative gaze and nodded in agreement.
"Change right here."
Xi Er blinked in surprise, but just last night…… so his pajamas were empty inside.
Finally realizing belatedly, he felt a bit shy; it was too bright here, and the opposite mirror made it unlike any place at home.
"Turn off the lights……" he whispered pleadingly.
"No."
Jin Chen coldly refused, gently stroking Xi Er's cheek encouragingly, "Only I get to look."
Xi Er could only slowly take off his pajamas, then put on the long dress Jin Chen had prepared.
The ice-blue skirt flared on the ground; the extremely smooth sheer fabric revealed perfect body curves, the parts that should be covered were all faintly visible.
From beneath the bust, silver threads encircled the skirt, straightly wrapping around the thighs downward, finer than tassels.
Xi Er always felt the silver threads wrapped around his body were icy cold, but upon closer sensation they vanished instantly.
The entire back was hollowed out, likewise only silver threads held it up, as if it might fall off at any moment.
His snow-white lashes trembled; Xi Er was still a bit shy, but hearing Jin Chen's praise, he felt joy rise.
"Very beautiful."
Jin Chen's voice grew lower and hoarser, his deep pupils fixed on his lover's stunning face, prompting him to turn and look at himself in the mirror.
Until now, aside from making Xi Er a bit shy, none of this could really be called punishment.
Xi Er turned around, but what he was looking at was not himself, but Jin Chen.
The room was cold; Xi Er rubbed his arms, spread his wings, and knelt beside Jin Chen, his soft hair flowing behind him, the skirt sweeping the floor and scattering like a flower about to bloom.
He lay on Jin Chen's leg, looking up with eyes full of reliance and affection, his blue irises lustrous.
Jin Chen reached out to gently stroke Xi Er's head, the smile on his thin lips growing more wicked.
He pressed the remote, and the off-white curtains on the left side of the room slowly opened, revealing a fully transparent floor-to-ceiling window; outside was a cluster of flowers, and one could even see the artificial lake beyond the estate, and even the workers laboring in the lawn garden.
Xi Er didn't know this was anti-peeping glass; he could only see outside from inside.
He was startled and wished he could hide himself, to hide in Jin Chen's embrace.
But Jin Chen would not allow it; Xi Er could not move, his eyes reddening, "Not……"
His wings slightly enveloped his body; the little angel's voice was truly pitiful and obedient, even his refusal sounded like a spoiled whine.
"Not…… for others to see, only for you to look."
"I want to capture this scene, so……"
Jin Chen turned the wheelchair, letting Xi Er sit in front of the piano, his thumb lightly stroking her lips as he fiddled for a while before speaking again.
"Sit nicely here, it's fine even if you can't play."
Xi Er's lips glistened, she clung to Jin Chen's arm, but couldn't keep him, so she sat alone before the piano.
Jin Chen went to the easel opposite the room, from the mirror he could see Xi Er looking somewhat flustered.
"Relax." he reminded.
Xi Er made eye contact with Jin Chen through the floor mirror; even though she was shy to this extent, she still obediently listened.
Perhaps because of Jin Chen's continual Guli, Xi Er gradually relaxed, as if only the person before her remained in the world.
He couldn't play the piano, just occasionally pressing a few keys, trying hard not to look outside.
