Chapter 2860: My Wife Stalks Me Every Day 20
Yun Jian lowered his eyes, his fingertips still resting on Jin Chen's firm abs, he lifted his gaze and looked at Jin Chen's tightly closed eyes.
Someone's breathing became ragged.
Yun Jian's, and also Jin Chen's.
The next second, Jin Chen opened his eyes.
Without the shocked, angry bewilderment Yun Jian had expected, Jin Chen's gaze was clear and calm, even tinged with a lazy interest.
He took hold of Yun Jian's hand still resting on his abdomen—slender, slightly cool, its pulse racing.
Jin Chen pushed himself up, shifting from half-lying to leaning sideways against the sofa armrest, propping his head with one hand, and looked down slightly at Yun Jian kneeling beside the sofa.
"What do you want to do?"
Yun Jian pressed his lips together, his Adam's apple bobbed once.
Now, awake like this, Jin Chen's eyes were clear, his demeanor composed, making him even more sexy than when he had been pretending to sleep with his eyes closed earlier.
Like a flame held in ice, knowing that getting close might burn, yet it makes one want to throw oneself at it recklessly, even if it means self-immolation.
Yun Jian wanted to kiss him without restraint, to press him into the sofa, to nibble his Adam's apple with his teeth, to hear him breathe against his ear…
But Jin Chen pinched his fingertip, "Answer me."
Those three plain words, when they landed in Yun Jian's ears, were no less potent than the fiercest aphrodisiac.
His most beloved treasure was questioning him, giving him a sense of total control, yet indulgingly allowing him to get this close, to touch, even to drug him.
Yun Jian's tone floated up, tinged with a hazy intoxication, "I like you."
A gloomy sense of grievance welled up in his eyes, his voice dropped, "But you said you don't like me… I feel so hurt."
Jin Chen raised an eyebrow: "So you want to drug me."
He added another sentence, his tone tinged with amusement.
"When did I ever say I don't like you?"
Yun Jian's expression froze for a moment.
That was said to a strange number… Yun Jian's mind flashed with that thought, then his gaze shifted as he realized he had let something slip.
But since things had come to this, he might as well go all out.
He and Jin Chen locked eyes, his pupils overflowing with obsessive longing, plus the damp, dangerous instinct of a beastman.
But Yun Jian insisted on maintaining that trembling, gentle facade, even forcing a smile at the corners of his mouth.
"Are you doing this on purpose, baby?" Yun Jian asked softly, his voice sticky and hoarse.
Jin Chen couldn't help but see through it, feeling both annoyed and amused.
He lowered his eyes, pondered for a few seconds, then turned his head slightly, brows faintly furrowed, looking a bit troubled.
"My head feels a bit dizzy."
Yun Jian jumped in fright, worry instantly overriding all other thoughts.
He hurriedly shifted sideways to sit beside him, cupping Jin Chen's face with both hands, fingertips lightly rubbing his temples, "Does it hurt?"
He carefully examined Jin Chen's complexion; the sliver of hope in his heart vanished—could this drug be fake?
Not only did it fail to knock Jin Chen out, but it also left side effects.
Damn it, he would definitely slaughter those idiots.
Yun Jian rubbed and caressed, then lightly brushed his lips against Jin Chen's brow and tip of his nose, placing soft kisses, trying to ease his discomfort this way.
Jin Chen let him kiss him, then suddenly lifted his eyes, his gaze clear as he looked at him.
"You are the red mask that followed me in the underground arena,
"the person who gave me so-called VIP status, or… the one who has been sending me harassing messages."
Yun Jian's motion of kissing his nose tip paused, he stepped back a little, looked at Jin Chen, and forced a smile.
"Baby, what are you talking about?"
"Yun Jian," Jin Chen's voice sank a few degrees, "don't pretend to be stupid."
The smile on Yun Jian's face gradually faded.
He stared at Jin Chen for a few seconds; the gentle, soft facade in his eyes finally fell away completely, revealing the underlying hint of obsession and unease.
Rabbits have never been docile animals; anxiety and fear are the source of their irritability.
This is especially evident in Yun Jian, who is an Angora Giant Rabbit Beastman and whose heart has long been obsessed to the point of illness.
The utter panic of being exposed, intertwined with his long-repressed desire, made Yun Jian's eyes redden; he still leaned in to kiss Jin Chen, but this time Jin Chen raised his hand, palm pressing against his lips.
Yun Jian wasn't annoyed; instead, he seized Jin Chen's hand, lowered his head, and lightly kissed his fingertips, his teeth gently biting Jin Chen's index finger.
Jin Chen pressed against Yun Jian's jaw, applied a little force, forcing Yun Jian to release his teeth, his fingertip holding back the restless tongue, his tone tinged with exasperation.
"Yun Jian."
Yun Jian lifted his eyes to look at him, his gaze deeper than before, faintly flushed red.
He suddenly rose, straddling Jin Chen's lap, his soft belly and thighs, separated by two layers of fabric, lightly rubbing against Jin Chen's leg.
Yun Jian lowered his head, burying his face in Jin Chen's neck crook, gently rubbing.
Jin Chen: "……"
The person in his arms was soft as… yet stubborn as a rock.
Jin Chen sighed, loosely encircling Yun Jian's waist to keep him from falling, his voice lowered: "You won't say anything at all?"
Yun Jian's eyes were completely red, fixed on Jin Chen, his voice carrying a repressed hoarseness.
"So I made you feel disgusted and annoyed? Stalking you, harassing you… you hate me now, is that it?"
Before Jin Chen could say anything, Yun Jian continued.
"But you don't like me, what can I do? I only know how to do this."
As he spoke, his tone light and airy, he suddenly grabbed Jin Chen's hand and pressed it to his own neck.
His candidness was like baring his throat to the blade, yet it exuded an almost desperate sensuality.
"If you hate me… then kill me." Yun Jian closed his eyes, his lashes trembling.
Jin Chen's fingertips could feel Yun Jian's carotid pulse beating—one beat, then another—rapid and scorching.
He suddenly realized something, and with his other hand he pried open Yun Jian's lips.
Sure enough, the tip of his tongue was bitten until it was a bloody mess, the blood seeping out and staining his teeth red.
Jin Chen sighed helplessly.
"Little madman." He whispered a reprimand.
He cupped Yun Jian's face, lowered his head, and kissed him.
A genuine, tender kiss.
Jin Chen's tongue lightly licked Yun Jian's wounded spot, swallowing back the unease and obsession he hadn't voiced.
Yun Jian became completely dazed.
"I like you." Jin Chen said.
In that instant Yun Jian's expression became extremely complex—bewildered, obscure, fickle.
He was judging the truth of those words, hoping to gain a pitiful sense of safety from them.
But what could he do?
No matter how he looked, he saw only affection in Jin Chen's eyes that fascinated him.
Yun Jian felt numb all over, a near‑euphoric bliss surging through his body, making him tremble uncontrollably.
He swallowed the bloody taste in his mouth; rabbits can endure pain, and he was no exception.
If this pain could make Jin Chen feel pity for him, even just a little, it would be perfect.
Yun Jian's voice trembled as he wrapped his arms around Jin Chen's neck and kissed the corner of his lips.
"Say it again," he begged, his voice filled with humble longing, "please, say it again."
Jin Chen looked at him, eyes gentle, "I like you."
Jin Chen's palm cradled the back of his head, deepening the kiss; Yun Jian went limp, sinking into Jin Chen's embrace like a rabbit whose fur has been smoothed.
In those eyes that had long coveted and yearned, he finally grasped what he wanted: love.
But that love was wrapped in obsession, its medium a shackle.
Yun Jian knew in his heart he could never be satisfied; he would only want to bind tighter, the less satisfied he felt, the tighter he wanted to bind.
He wrapped his arms around Jin Chen's neck, lips brushing his ear, "I love you, I love you, I love you… I can't leave you, did you hear me?"
Jin Chen heard his murmur, arms tightening, pulling him closer, and he kissed Yun Jian's sweat‑damp forehead.
"I heard you." he said.
