Chapter 3030: Blood-Stained Addiction 06

~5 min read 821 words

Jin Chen stopped behind the long table, bare feet stepping on the room's soft carpet; the coolness rising from the soles finally eased a little, he lowered his head slightly, voice lazy, "My lord."

Saiyin's gaze fell, starting from Jin Chen's head, slowly sliding down his lush pale face, grazing the faint outline of his body beneath the white robe, even the shape of his shoulder blades and waist dimples was beautiful.

Saiyin again lowered his eyes to the silver pot and cup beside him, his finger resting on the rim, "Drink it."

Jin Chen followed his gaze; the silver pot's shape differed from the one holding blood, being more petite, its lid fitted tightly, yet even so, a rich fragrance drifted from the spout, sweet to the point of cloying.

Jin Chen picked up the silver pot and poured a small cup.

That rich aroma grew stronger as the liquid flowed out, making Jin Chen instinctively feel uneasy.

Jin Chen lifted the silver cup to under his nose and sniffed; the cloying sweet scent shot straight to his head, he frowned slightly, moved the cup away, and looked up at Saiyin, "What is this?"

Saiyin propped his head with one hand, noticing the blatant repulsion on Jin Chen's face, which suddenly sparked his interest.

He shifted his posture, leaning forward slightly, his voice low and languid, "Something that will make you reek from head to toe, so I can feast on you."

Jin Chen: "……"

He lowered his head, gazing at the amber liquid in the silver cup, and fell silent for about two or three breaths.

That cloying scent kept drifting into his nose, making him somewhat annoyed.

He set the silver cup back on the table, brows slightly furrowed in distress, "I don't want to drink it."

The figure in purple robes whipped his head around, the chin exposed beneath the hood clenched tight; even though half his eyes were shadowed by the hood, one could still feel the shock within. He recalled how just moments ago the count had rebuked him, how that terrifying aura had forced him to endure utter devastation, and he shuffled two steps toward the corner, wishing to sink into the wall's shadow.

Saiyin slightly raised his brow, the red glint in his eyes brighter than before, like a spark plucked from ashes, neither fully out nor fully lit.

He let out a soft nasal hum, impossible to tell whether it was annoyance or something else, "You're very bold, mixed-blood human."

Saiyin lowered his hand from his chin, sat upright, and crooked a finger at Jin Chen; an invisible yet stronger pressure silently spread.

"Come here."

Jin Chen walked to stand before Saiyin, stopping at a distance too intimate for the propriety between a blood servant and a count; Saiyin pinched Jin Chen's chin, fingertip pressing against the thin skin, and lowered his head.

Jin Chen's long hair slipped from his shoulders with the motion, a few strands falling to brush unintentionally over Saiyin's cheek and neck; Saiyin frowned but did not dodge.

He buried his face in the crook of Jin Chen's neck, the tip of his nose pressing against that thin skin, and slowly drew a deep breath.

That scent flowed into his nostrils, Saiyin's pupils contracted sharply, and his appetite was stirred once more.

Saiyin's nose brushed over Jin Chen's collarbone, lingered there a moment, then shifted half an inch to the side, the bridge of his nose resting against the curve of the collarbone as he lightly sniffed twice.

Jin Chen lowered his gaze to the head buried in the space between his neck, so calm it didn't seem like a blood servant being sniffed at the neck by a vampire count.

Saiyin's lips parted slightly, corners turning up, his scarlet tongue tip slipping out to slowly lick his lower lip, forcibly restraining the urge to bite down immediately.

He never enjoyed his food like this.

Saiyin was about to straighten up, letting this strange blood servant draw his own blood, when suddenly a fingertip pressed against his tooth.

Jin Chen's distinct-knuckled fingers pressed against the fang that Saiyin had unknowingly elongated, glowing with a faint cold white light in the candlelight.

Jin Chen tilted his head slightly, his fingertip lightly grazing the weapon capable of easily rending flesh and blood, a hint of curiosity in his tone as he obliged, "Aren't you wanting to eat, my lord count?"

Saiyin remained in that slight head‑tilted pose, lips slightly parted, Jin Chen's finger still pressing against his fang, leaving his mind blank at that moment.

This…… bold blood servant.

In the hearth, pale flames leapt silently, casting their overlapping silhouettes onto the obsidian wall—distorted, flickering, entwined indistinguishably.

"Please enjoy." Jin Chen's low voice, tinged with a hint of amusement, fell into Saiyin's ear.

Jin Chen was also a little curious—would the proud Strand Count like the taste of his blood?
