Chapter 3159: My Wife and I Enact Daily Life 46
Even if Jin Chen intentionally tried to prolong the time inside the mustard-seed space, the afternoon's time still ended, and night fell.
That sandalwood vine had been constantly drenched by dripping, then slowly absorbed and returned to a rough state, grinding Chenshu mercilessly; he could no longer stand steady, his back pressed against the rough vine, the silver chain bell on his chest twisted by his own motions and wound to his waist side, the bell opening facing downward, clasped like a flower that cannot close.
Now, if Jin Chen merely reaches out and touches him—even just a brush on the nape—Chenshu trembles all over, the base of his tongue sucked until slightly swollen, almost unable to retract, his whole body as if drenched in sweat, the moisture in his eyes almost instantly condensing into droplets that fall.
"Xiao Chen..." Chenshu bit his lower lip, softly begging his husband.
Jin Chen lifted him from the wooden vine; in his embrace Chenshu shuddered again, his arms loosely wrapping around Jin Chen's neck, burying his face in Jin Chen's shoulder hollow, his damp breath falling intermittently on Jin Chen's neck.
"Good, wife, it's over now." Jin Chen lowered his head to kiss his crown, his palm resting on his back, slowly gliding from the shoulder blades down to the waist, his warm palm covering his slightly trembling spine.
Moonlight poured from the firmament of the mustard-seed space, sprinkling into the spiritual spring in the corner of the courtyard; the water surface was spread with specks of silvery-white light, gently swaying with the breeze.
Jin Chen carried Chenshu step by step into the spiritual spring; his black hair spread across the water surface, the dark ends floating in the silvery moonlight, stirring the reflected moon into ripples. The spring water was clear to the bottom; from the surface one could see Jin Chen embracing his lover's shoulders, faint red finger marks still on his neck skin, and beneath the water, his waistline flickered in and out of view, alternately veiled by moonlight and ripples.
Chenshu's sense of shame had been shattered and reshaped countless times over that long afternoon.
At first he would bite his lip to keep silent, but merely being embraced from behind by the young Jin Chen and rubbed on the shoulder made him lose all composure; later, sitting on the wooden vine and ground until tears flowed uncontrollably, he no longer cared about shame at all.
Now, soaked in the spiritual spring, naked and leaning against his husband's embrace, with the spring water gently washing between his legs, he instead felt a certain candidness—here there was only him and Jin Chen, no one would intrude; did he still need to hide himself before his husband?
Chenshu sat in Jin Chen's embrace, his beautiful, mature body buoyed by the water and lightly leaning, then gently parting in the ripples at the touch of Jin Chen's fingertips; he was really somewhat uncomfortable, forcing himself to stay alert, but Jin Chen saw his fatigue, lowered his head to kiss his ear, and said, "Leave it to me, just relax and rest."
Chenshu closed his eyes, sinking into a hazy edge of consciousness, relaxing and surrendering himself to Jin Chen.
Jin Chen carefully washed the person in his arms clean, rinsing away the sticky traces left from repeated soaking and drying; he pressed his fingertips to Chenshu's thigh side, slowly rubbing, kneading away the marks at the base of the leg, then let the water flow carry them into the spring pool.
After washing, he again lowered his head to kiss Chenshu's shoulder, following that kiss-mark with a new kiss; looking down at Chenshu's chest, he saw the silver chain twisted from repeated swinging, the butterfly-wing tip lodged in the flesh, the bead that had been sucked too long now somewhat swollen.
Jin Chen glanced twice, his throat twitching slightly; he lowered his head and gently took into his mouth the bead that had been tormented all half‑day, feeling deep pity, but he forgot that Chenshu's Spiritual Power had not yet recovered—right now he was merely a mortal flesh body, his body ground by the wooden vine for half a day could not endure any extra touch, and after just a few more sucks…
Chenshu arched his back, whimpering as he pressed ever tighter into Jin Chen's embrace, gripping his waist, "Mmm…"
Jin Chen hastily released him, lowered his head to see the result of his actions.
He lowered his eyes a little guiltily, stirred away the faint cloudiness that had just appeared in the spring water, then pretended nothing had happened, kissed Chenshu's lip corner, lifted the person in his arms a bit to let him rest more securely, decided to act as if it had never occurred and not tell his wife.
Chenshu lay prone in his embrace for a while, his breathing gradually evening out, as if finally exhausted from the torment, he fell into a dazed sleep.
Chenshu rested for a full two days.
These two days Jin Chen kept the courtyard gate tightly shut, not even allowing He Yun to enter. He wasn't just hiding in the courtyard doing nothing; each day he took out over an hour to go out and handle the sect affairs that Chenshu had originally shared.
Fortunately, nothing major happened inside or outside during this period; on UnExtinction Peak, Haoha led disciples in body‑cultivation classes, while on Myriad Phenomena Peak He Yun supervised new disciples' entry into law cultivation; the various Masters were not in retreat, could handle matters themselves without needing to constantly seek the inner disciples. Occasionally, when junior brothers or sisters passed the gate of Myriad Phenomena Peak's courtyard and peered in, asking about Senior Brother Chenshu, Jin Chen would hum twice, change the subject, saying, "He's in closed‑door cultivation."
He dared not tell others that his wife couldn't get out of bed. If Chenshu learned that he had been boasting about this all over the sect, he would surely pinch his ears and scold him.
After two days, the seal on Chenshu's Spiritual Power finally dissipated on its own.
At noon on the third day, Youyou Chenshu awakened groggily, his eyelids still heavy; fortunately, the soreness throughout his body had largely eased, and with his Spiritual Power restored, his self‑repair speed was far greater than in a mortal state—the places that had been rubbed raw and split had healed, leaving only a lingering ache in his waist, abdomen, and leg roots.
He lay awhile, eyes closed, slowly sensing his body's condition; his complexion gradually brightened, he turned his head, his gaze sweeping the room and landing on the figure sitting upright on the chair beside the bed.
Jin Chen held a bowl waiting for him; the sweet water soup inside steamed faintly, freshly boiled in the side kitchen, clear, sweet, and moist. Seeing Chenshu open his eyes, he immediately pushed the bowl forward, acting cute: "Senior Brother, have a drink to soothe your throat."
This time he actually addressed him as Senior Brother.
Chenshu gave him an annoyed look, then reached out and patted the bedside.
Jin Chen obediently moved from the chair to the bedside, feeding him spoonful by spoonful; the warm sweet soup alleviated much of the slight throat soreness. Weary, Chenshu leaned against the headboard and drank half a bowl, but still feeling uncomfortable, he simply turned sideways and leaned into Jin Chen's embrace.
He rubbed the back of his head against Jin Chen's chest, found a comfortable angle to nestle, then tilted his head and bit a mouthful of Jin Chen's shoulder, also laying his thigh over Jin Chen's leg, "Inside feels a bit uncomfortable."
Jin Chen hummed doubtfully, set the bowl on the nearby low cabinet, "I thought I had cleaned everything."
Saying this, he removed Chenshu's lower garment, exposing the reddish patch of skin on the inner thigh, "Let me have a look." Jin Chen said.
Chenshu lowered the wrist that had been blocking his view, slightly spread his legs; Jin Chen's fingertip, coated with spiritual medicine, icy cool, touched the skin, pressing gently in a circle; Chenshu's breath caught at the contact, then slowly exhaled.
"A bit red," Jin Chen said, dipping his fingertip in more medicine and slowly spreading it, "Bear with it."
After applying the medicine, Jin Chen kissed the inner thigh beside the face, then wiped his damp fingertips clean.
Chenshu took two shallow breaths, then reached back to grasp Jin Chen's arm, leaning once more into his embrace.
The two did nothing else; their breaths intermingled as they sank into each other's neck hollows, merely a tender lingering, a close and firm embrace.
