Chapter 1942 1942: Kali's Dance Of Death

A chaotic, blazing dance of death descended upon Maria.

"There you are you brazen bitch!"

A blue-skinned goddess of destruction roared as she descended. She had multiple arms, each carrying golden weapons, long silver hair, and golden eyes.

It was Kali.

She clashed against Maria with all her might. Although not as strong as Shiva's Primordial Power, she was still considerably powerful. She moved with both destructive force and beautiful grace. Each of her attacks carried a cataclysmic shockwave that constantly pushed Maria back.

"One after another. You guys sure never get tired, huh?"

"PERISH! PERISH RIGHT NOW! DIE! DIE!"

Kali laughed like a maniac. A necklace of human bones and skulls decorated her neck while her half-naked body swung her endless golden divine weapons.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Kali pressed the Outer God without giving her a moment to breathe. She moved rapidly from place to place, causing great ripples and distortions in the heavens above. She danced manically, chasing after Maria and adapting to her techniques through her endless fighting dance. Her weapons stung fiercely, packed with divine radiance and starlight.

However…

"I've played enough little games with you."

"…?!"

Kali's entire technique shattered in an instant.

BOOOM!

An explosion of energy erupted from her chest. Before she realized what had happened, two swords were piercing her heart.

Vomiting blood from her many heads, Kali glared at Maria in disbelief.

"W-When did… you…?!"

"Pay attention to your opponent next time instead of endlessly trying to trample them like some damn animal."

Without another word, the Outer God swung her sword toward Kali. Each strike pierced her skin and covered her body with countless slashing wounds.

"GAAAAAHHH!"

Kali screamed, but her eyebrows furrowed in fury. Her form grew more demon-like as anger consumed her. Red flame tattoos appeared across her blue skin. At the same time, her divinity turned chaotic and burned like a raging flame. Skulls and skeletons surged from her aura like howling specters.

"You haven't seen anything yet!"

Kali swung all her weapons at Maria at once, attacking her endlessly from every angle.

Yet Maria swiftly avoided and defended against each blow. At the same time, using the Path of Nihility and the Path of Genesis, the Outer God slashed through her opponent and even cut through her very "technique."

What Kali had no idea about was the true power hidden within this threatening Outer God, Maria.

Having trained like a madwoman before arriving here, Maria had attained an incredible level of enlightenment. She had mastered her techniques to a completely new level. Nineteen years inside her Soul Realm had felt like two hundred years of endless training in reality.

Naturally, that would not be enough to compare to deities who had lived for millions of years.

But it had been enough for her.

Kali gritted her teeth as she watched each of the Outer God's attacks cancel out her magic and martial arts entirely. Her dance was constantly interrupted, unable to build any more momentum. At the same time, her transformation was already reversing.

"W-What is this?! She's… cutting through my techniques, my magic, and my transformation?! How does that make any sense?!"

"Confused? This is my unique swordsmanship method: Myriad Firmaments Sword Soul Dream Heart Art."

As Maria responded, both of her swords merged into a single radiant giant sword of white and black energies that fused into primordial chaos.

"An Outer God that… mastered swordsmanship?! What sort of ridiculous thing is this?!"

Kali screamed. Once more she tried to transform, expand her domain, and unleash all her techniques and magic.

And yet…

"This is it."

SLAAASH!

With a single slash, Maria cut through all her techniques.

"NGAAAAHH!"

Kali screamed and used her countless arms to resist the pain and agony, desperately trying not to be cleaved in half by the giant chaotic sword descending upon her. Although she managed to stop it from slicing her completely…

The blade released an immense explosive force that engulfed her.

BOOOMMM!!!

The explosion consumed Kali, burning her entire body as she screamed in agony.

In the distance, Shiva's eyes widened when he heard his consort's scream of pain.

"Kali!"

He rushed toward her, only to be stopped once more by a giant snake.

"MOVE!!!"

No longer holding back, Shiva gathered all his power and released it in a devastating blast. He sent the snake flying and charged toward Maria with a single, overwhelming strike.

RUMBLE!

"GRYACK?!"

Apophis was struck with such force that over seventy percent of her body vanished, leaving behind a massive hole. Her remains fell apart and slowly began to fuse back together.

Shiva ignored the remains of the "worm" and reached Maria and what was left of Kali.

There, floating in the fog made of chaos particles and miasma…

Kali's body hovered, barely alive. Only half her torso, her head, and a single arm up to the elbow remained intact. The rest of her body had been completely burned, and even now she continued to burn slowly, fading into ashes.

"KALI!!!"

Shiva screamed as he caught her, staring in horror. He grew agitated, tears falling as he held her.

"S-Shiva…"

Kali looked at her husband and smiled faintly while caressing his face.

"No…! Wait…! Brahma! Come here and heal her!!!"

However, to his horror, Brahma could not help. He was busy fighting a group of powerful warriors from the Outer God's faction. Vishnu was also occupied, rapidly being overwhelmed by three dragons. Ganesha, who possessed strong healing abilities, was nowhere to be seen.

Everything was becoming worse and worse.

Their goal to stop Maria had turned into their worst mistake.

And amidst all of it…

Shiva stood there, glaring at Maria. Tears of blood fell from his eyes. His third eye, which had remained closed this entire time, slowly opened and emanated a terrifying purple and red light.

"I failed to kill you before… but no more…!" Shiva roared. "I will smash you into pieces with all my power! Even if this realm crumbles into dust!"

"Or you could get out of my way…" Maria sighed. "I don't intend to kill anybody, but you insist on standing in my path, sealing us, and trying to kill us. If you hadn't gotten in the way… your wife wouldn't be like this."

"Grrrr…!" Shiva's entire body turned purple and glowed with stars within. Black and white energies coalesced around him. "Kali, wait here…! I'll kill this monster and then bring you somewhere safe!"

"S-Shiva…" Kali muttered again. Her life force was fading rapidly.

"RAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Shiva screamed. The entire Realm trembled violently.

RUMBLE!

The world seemed to be coming to an end. Chaos, darkness, and light surged everywhere, beginning to consume reality itself. Ripples in space, eternal flames of damnation, and waves of destruction spread through everything.

Shiva powered up to his maximum, overflowing with power far beyond his original realm. Growing to thirty meters tall with dozens of arms and powerful golden weapons, he transformed into a burning meteor and flew straight toward the Outer God before him.

"I WILL KILL YOU NO MATTER WHAT!!!"

As he charged Maria, she intercepted him with her powerful body. Ripples in space spread everywhere, shaking the Tenfold Realm.

While watching everything through a floating jade crystal ball, the Jade Emperor smirked maliciously. His once gentle eyes now shone with clear joy at the scene unfolding before him.

"Yes, Shiva… Destroy the Tenfold Realm with your Primordial Dance of Destruction and Creation! Everything is going exactly as the Great Creator wishes. A great banquet awaits him!"
