Chapter 1951: Battle Between Archangels

The Angel behind Maria glowed with bright celestial light.

All the Celestial Energy she had consumed was enough for her to forge him a new body.

Naturally, it wasn’t nearly as strong as his true form, but she was here to compensate for what was missing.

"I will do what Gabriel failed to do and simply slay you for good, Michael! You have stirred far too much trouble and chaos! And while I do that, that despicable Outer God by your side will be unable to do anything as we offer the worlds we’ve designated to the Heavenly Father!"

"You’re doing what?! I thought you were doing it much later?!"

"And you think we didn’t guess you had learned about our plans?! It doesn’t matter, foolish creature. Your precious worlds will all become our great Father’s nourishment. Fear not. Those that are eaten will be reincarnated as new beings later on. There is nothing to fear!"

"Nothing to fear my ass!"

Maria roared together with Michael. Their powers combined as they fought as one, clashing against the gigantic blazing sword that Camael wielded. Flames erupted and spread everywhere across the great Heavenly Jade Palace.

Maria’s Sword Soul Heart glowed with the three Paths: Nihility, Genesis, and Oblivion. She compressed their power and summoned them as Halos, merging them with her Mandala and creating three beautiful halos behind her back.

At the same time, her Soul and Body became one, unifying her Darkness and Light, Life and Death, Hope and Despair, Joy and Sorrow, Void and Matter.

"Three Paths!"

With a powerful roar, Maria stepped forward and pressed her attack against Camael as his blazing sword flickered.

She unleashed three unique strikes, each one aimed precisely at the head, the chest, and the soul.

The weight of Nihility struck the Jade Emperor’s head.

Then the severing of all things from Genesis further split Camael from the body.

And finally, Oblivion struck Camael’s soul, making it tremble in pain as he was almost forcefully thrown back to Heaven.

"Nnnggh! What is this heaven-defying power! So sacrilegious! You shouldn’t possess this strength!"

Camael clenched his teeth, shocked by the might that Maria carried within her. Even though she was no Administrator, she had attained so many different powers and was now fully combining them into a whole that nearly rivaled his own Authority.

"And Michael hasn’t even helped me yet!" Maria roared as Michael spread his wings and materialized his own weapon.

Through mythology, Michael had wielded two weapons.

His Divine Radiant Sword, Glorious, embodying the Name of the Heavenly Father, which had been taken away by Gabriel after he was sealed.

And the Celestial Lance of Holiness, the nameless lance he had used to vanquish Satan.

Using the last fragment embedded in Satan’s soul, which the Archdemon, once an Angel, had used to empower himself, Maria helped Michael forge his Lance once more.

This time, he granted it a name.

"Come forth, Blazing Celestial Lance of Justice, Avenger!"

Baptized by his celestial power, the lance materialized and blazed with righteous fury. It clashed against Camael’s Burning Sword as explosions of flames and light erupted everywhere.

RUMBLE!

The Jade Palace crumbled into pieces, and the heavens around them rapidly began to shatter and dissipate. The earth beneath erupted with countless cracks spreading everywhere. Camael clenched his teeth, unable to believe how strong Michael had become.

"How were you able to recover your Lance?! It was lost when you vanquished Satan!" Camael roared. He swung his blazing sword down while summoning hundreds of blazing celestial swords that clashed against Maria and Michael.

In an instant, Camael summoned something akin to a Dominion with all the thousands of blades. He trapped Maria and Michael inside an endless inferno of judgment, where swords emerged endlessly from every direction.

Maria spread out her own Aura and Dominion. Void, Chaos, and Darkness spread everywhere as thousands of stars, concentrated spheres of Sword Energy, emerged all around her.

Combining the Three Paths with the power of her Sword Dome technique, Maria began defending against most of the attacks at once!

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

As she endured them all, she rushed toward Camael, embodying the power of her Dream-Soaring Blade to move across the Plane of Dreams and reach him in a split second.

"What?!"

Camael was surprised. His senses and abilities were greatly reduced while possessing the Jade Emperor, who was unable to fully synchronize with him, slowing the Administrator down.

"Michael, now! Together!"

"I know!"

Michael spread his wings and surged with power. His spear clashed against Camael while Maria swung her two swords, attacking the Archangel with everything she had.

Using Ghostly Lightning Dragonfly Step and Nightmare Soul Blade Dance in combination with the Three Paths and her Mandala, Maria unleashed a relentless, endless wave of attacks.

Constant and without end, Camael was pushed back as Michael swung his Lance forward, puncturing his barriers and aura and beginning to dig through his vessel’s body.

And his soul!

"NNNGH?! AGH! GOD’S WRATH!"

Camael screamed, unleashing the Wrath of the Heavenly Father. His entire body was set ablaze while an immense burning pressure surged from his soul and body, pressing down heavily on Maria and Michael.

"Nnnggh! Push!"

"I’m pushing!"

"Push harder, Michael! Are you rusty or something?!"

"Uugh! HAAAAH!"

Michael channeled all of his power. His lance glowed with the brightness of heaven as it clashed against Camael’s burning infernal flames. At the same time, Maria’s sword pierced through the Jade Emperor’s head.

"{Three Paths}: {Dream-Soaring Dragon Blade}!"

SLAAASH!

Using the Three Paths, Maria severed Camael’s connection with the Jade Emperor, separating his soul from the Immortal Emperor’s body entirely as the roar of a dragon echoed in the background.

"Ahhh! No!"

Camael tried to return to his vessel, but it was too late!

Michael rushed toward his soul as he attempted to go back to the Jade Emperor and pierced him with his Lance!

CRASH!

"G-Gaaah?! M-Michael?!"

Camael vomited celestial light as he saw Michael’s face, his eyes filled with frustration, sorrow, and pain.

"I’m sorry... Camael..."

"Y-YOUU!YOU’RE NOT SORRY!"

Camael roared. Suddenly, he began to descend fully into Floor 90.

RUMBLE!

The skies split open as a gigantic blazing hand emerged, the size of a whole moon.

The giant blazing hand rushed downward, splitting space and time as it reached faster and faster toward Maria and Michael.

At the same time, Camael’s true form could be seen beneath the giant crack in space, embodying the Wrath of God. Few beings could ever compare to his absolute might.

"YOU WILL FACE GOD’S JUDGEMENT!!!"

The titanic blazing hand rushed down, aiming to crush everyone.

However, Maria grabbed Michael and pulled him to her side. His radiant spear glowed brightly as it absorbed her essence.

"Michael! Snap out of it!"

"This is ridiculous! He’s too powerful! And every single one of the Archangels is even stronger, Maria! W-We shouldn’t have done this! Maria, we are all going to die!"

"Stop it, you idiot!"

Maria slapped his face, helping him come back to his senses.

Gazing upon the true radiance of a being like the Archangels was madness-inducing.

Maria knew it well. They were similar to Outer Gods in that regard.

"You think we came all the way here just to turn back and die?!"
