Chapter 203: Heiyuanmolong's Assault

The next few days.

Chen Mo replicated his actions in the Poisonous Territory.

After soaking in the lava hot spring and completing the self‑discipline challenge of the Fire God Lion, Chen Mo summoned the flamefire dragon tribe.

Besides proclaiming himself the new master of this land, he also taught them the Great Spirit Rain Technique.

When facing these flamefire dragons, Chen Mo did not assume the form of the Flamefire Dragon King, even though it would have saved him much trouble and deepened the dragons' faith in him.

But it was unnecessary.

He already possessed the strength to defeat the Flamefire Dragon King, so there was no need to hide his identity.

The flamefire dragons before him were not a target he deliberately needed to win over; they were merely a pawn to secure territorial safety.

Later, Chen Mo will also subjugate territories in other regions of this Flame Planet.

Of course, Chen Mo shared his casually brewed "Fire Dragon Special Drink" with these flamefire dragons.

It is a beverage concocted from scorching lava and various fire‑type divine herbs.

It harbors extreme flame energy; after drinking it, one cannot help but spew fire.

Because the ingredients are coarse, the drink's quality is only at a king‑level.

But for these flamefire dragons, the Fire Dragon Special Drink is nothing short of a world treasure! It not only amplifies the flame within them and raises their transcendent rank, but more importantly—

Its taste is simply superb! Comparable to catnip's effect on cats, after a single sip almost every Flamefire Dragon King falls into a frenzy, clawing and spitting fire everywhere.

Chen Mo's faith value also rose sharply, and resistance to this new lord vanished by more than half.

After completing these, Chen Mo began daily self‑discipline of "soaking in lava."

Until three days later.

The massive body of the Flamefire Dragon King lay slightly coiled in the lava, emitting a low growl toward the golden magma below—

"My king, I have completely refined the flame of the Dragon Heart."

Compared with before, the Flamefire Dragon King's size had increased by another circle, its length now approaching 250 meters.

The golden sheen on its scales grew ever brighter; each scale bore glittering patterns like molten gold, making the whole dragon resemble a blazing golden fireball.

After refining the Dragon Heart, its transcendent rank did not yet break into the High‑Legendary realm.

Nevertheless, the quality of its Crimson‑Gold Dragon Flame rose to the Legendary realm, and its power qualitatively increased! Now the Flamefire Dragon King truly is like a sun, with endless, unextinguishable flame within.

After digesting the flame, the Flamefire Dragon King entertained the thought of challenging Suanni again.

But in an instant, it erased that thought from its heart.

The Flamefire Dragon King felt that it was still unlikely to match Suanni, for Suanni's willingness to help refine its internal flame indicated absolute confidence.

More importantly—

If it failed in the challenge, the consequences would be severe! Not only would it lose the chance to taste Suanni's delicious cuisine, but its own life would be greatly threatened! After all, no ruler can tolerate a continual provocation of his "kin tribe."

Thus, following Suanni's instructions before entering the lava, the Flamefire Dragon King reported the situation to Chen Mo as soon as it completed its ascension.

The next second.

Golden lava surged like waves in all directions, and deep within the lava a massive head emerged—a second gigantic Flamefire Dragon King.

"I understand."

Chen Mo answered via telepathy.

He glanced at the golden flames on the Dragon King's body and saw they had indeed transformed into a Legendary‑grade spirit fire!

"Roar!" (My king, this is a portion of the fire seed.) The Flamefire Dragon King voluntarily split the Crimson‑Gold Dragon Flame's fire seed in half, offering one half to Chen Mo.

Chen Mo nodded, then swallowed it in one gulp and began refining it immediately.

Legendary‑grade fire seeds are not easily refined, especially since this is the Dragon King's primordial fire.

Aside from the Flamefire Dragon King, other Legendary‑grade fire beings might not succeed in refining it.

But thanks to the Illusion Concealment ability, Chen Mo at this moment is an upgraded Flamefire Dragon King.

After entering Chen Mo's body, the Crimson‑Gold Dragon Flame quickly shifted from a rebellious stance to obedience, even eager to merge with Chen Mo's internal flame.

Chen Mo estimates that in about half a day he can complete refining this Legendary‑grade spirit fire.

"You step back for now!"

Chen Mo then took two portions of Fire Dragon Special Drink and Snow Mountain Special Drink from his storage, presented them as rewards to the Flamefire Dragon King, and prepared to return to the lava to refine the Crimson‑Gold Dragon Flame.

Once he finishes refining this Legendary fire seed, not only will he complete a self‑discipline challenge of the Fire God Lion, but his combat power will also be further enhanced.

While Chen Mo was refining the Crimson‑Gold Dragon Flame, Heiyuanmolong had already led his Heiyuan Corps to the junction of the Flamefire Dragon Mountains and the Lava Turtle Mountains.

Amid endless volcanoes, a line of pitch‑black Heiyuan Demon Turtles trudged swiftly along the magma river.

A few flamefire dragons in the area quickly noticed this astonishingly large army.

One male flamefire dragon proactively spewed fire‑dragon breath at a peer‑level Heiyuan Demon Turtle.

But the effect was negligible.

After infection, the Heiyuan Demon Turtle's fire resistance and physical condition improved markedly, and with its already formidable defense, the dragon's flame posed little threat.

Other flamefire dragons also considered resisting, but most chose to flee westward toward the volcano where the Flamefire Dragon King and the new king Suanni reside.

A few daring fire dragons rose into the sky, hoping to use their aerial advantage to unleash fire breath on the Heiyuan Demon Turtle army.

Their strategy was to spite you even if they couldn't defeat you.

Yet the Heiyuan Black Dragon never even acted; the Demon Turtle army's counterattack alone overwhelmed those flamefire dragons.

The Heiyuan Demon Turtles spewed a deluge of black flame that covered the deep‑red sky, leaving the flamefire dragons with nowhere to dodge even in midair.

Having lost their aerial advantage, the flamefire dragons' combat ability was at least halved! They were defeated by the Demon Turtles and mercilessly transformed into new Heiyuan Demon Dragons.

Meanwhile, some flamefire dragons that fled immediately managed to escape alive.

Heiyuanmolong hovered higher than these flamefire dragons, silently watching their retreat, yet did not strike.
