Chapter 92: Expansion War!

The Ice Lion King's "bestowal" lets the bestowees retain lord‑level power even when outside the territory! (Effective within the Great Snow Mountain secret realm) "Ying~" (Thank you, Your Majesty.) The Snowstep Fox Leader was overjoyed, then crawled on the snow to show gratitude and respect to the Ice Lion King.

Amid the beasts' astonishment, the Ice Lion King's voice rang out again.

"Unicorn Frost Sheep."

"Baa~"

The Unicorn Frost Sheep was thrilled, its eyes shining.

"I appoint you as the Frost Sheep Mountain Lord, commander of the Frost Sheep clan, responsible for cultivating spiritual plants and divine medicines."

Like the Snowstep Fox Leader, the Frost Sheep Leader suddenly emitted a powerful aura, and the spiritual energy within his ice core rapidly condensed into liquid form.

"Baa!"

The Unicorn Frost Sheep knelt on one knee, its face full of joy.

Farming also has a future!

Seeing the two beasts' transformation, the other leaders' eyes simultaneously showed envy and fervor.

The Ice Lion King can directly elevate other beings to lordship, making them masters of their regions!

Such a method is unheard of, like a deity.

At the same time, the remaining leaders silently prayed to be on the bestowal list as well.

"Ice Crystal Mouse, I appoint you as the Ice Mouse Mountain Lord, responsible for seeking heavenly materials and earthly treasures."

Hearing this, the Ice Crystal Mouse lifted its head, its face full of disbelief.

Even a mouse gets a share!? It bowed deeply toward the Ice Lion King.

"Squeak!!" (Praise the Lion King!!)

"Ice Frost Hound."

"Awooo!"

"Ice Ghost."

"Ling~~"

"Wang Long, I appoint you as the Starfire Mountain Lord, commander of the human race."

Just as Wang Long was stunned, the Ice Lion King's voice sounded again.

He was momentarily dazed, then felt his internal spiritual energy surge, confirming he hadn't misheard!

Aside from the core of the Ice Lion clan, the Lion King had previously bestowed titles only on the first groups that pledged allegiance, or on races that had made great contributions during the contest for the second‑tier divine medicine.

He never expected to be bestowed himself!

"I hope you lead the surviving humans to contribute to the Ice Lion Kingdom."

The Ice Lion King said calmly.

"Thank you, Your Majesty!"

Wang Long replied gratefully.

This time, Chen Mo only appointed 18 Mountain Lords and 45 Vice‑Mountain Lords.

He decided to hold off on these Vice‑Mountain Lords, waiting until they have made sufficient contributions to the Ice Lion Kingdom before bestowing titles.

"The second matter: I hereby announce the Ice Lion Law, the rules everyone must follow from now on."

Regarding the Ice Lion Law, Chen Mo merely made a brief mention.

Next, the Snowstep Fox clan will detail each law to every Mountain Lord and Vice‑Mountain Lord, and have them promote it throughout their own snow mountains.

"The final matter, also the most important, is territorial expansion."

The Ice Lion King's majestic voice resonated in the hearts of all superior leaders.

"Let the Bing Li Mountain Lord introduce this matter to everyone!"

"The Ice Lion Kingdom currently has over 25,000 superior beings. With so many, the daily consumption of spiritual plants and superior flesh reaches astronomical numbers."

The Snowstep Fox Leader spoke slowly, now looking exactly like a strategist.

"Therefore we must expand outward."

"The first expansion targets two regions—Tansanila and Kenniila."

Hearing their own country's name, Karam and the general perked up. "These two areas were originally human territories, but after the resurgence of spiritual Qi, most cities have been seized by superior beings."

"Our next step is to occupy these two regions."

"As for humans and other superior beings we encounter, if they are willing to submit to the kingdom, we may absorb and observe them appropriately, and suitable ones can join various races. After all, with such a vast area, our numbers of beasts are limited, making full control difficult."

Then, Bing Li detailed the current forces on Great Snow Mountain, the precise tactics of the expansion war, and each race's assigned duties.

Everything was orderly.

The other superior leaders attending the meeting listened attentively.

The leaders who had not yet been bestowed felt a burning zeal.

Expansion inevitably means war.

And war inevitably brings merit.

If one earns enough merit in the expansion war, His Majesty the Lion King might even appoint them as Mountain Lords! Xiong Ba watched the other superior leaders' eyes yearning for "achievement," and felt uneasy! Damn, it's rolling! The Lion King's favor is limited; to keep his current standing, he must work even harder!

————————

The next day.

The Ice Lion clan split into two forces.

The northern expedition, led by Xiong Ba and Sister Lion Aisha, aimed at Kenniila.

The southern army, personally commanded by the Ice Lion King, targeted Tansanila.

Among them, Frost Crane handled reconnaissance and food transport, so supply was not an issue.

Moreover, both armies carried massive amounts of seeds; with the Frost Sheep present, using the Minor Spirit Rain technique, they could quickly produce abundant ice grass.

Half a day later.

On the boundless snowy plain.

A legion teeming with extraordinary beings surged forward in a mighty rush.

"My lord, ahead lies Arusha, the former third‑largest city of Tanzania."

Kalam said to Chen Mo.

Along the way, the Ice Lion Legion advanced very smoothly, with nothing appearing that could threaten its existence.

During this period, each division also subdued many passing extraordinary beings and humans.

Next, they will enter the first city once inhabited by humans.

Chen Mo gazed into the distance, roughly seeing the city's outline over thirty kilometers away.

The former city has now become a paradise for extraordinary beings; skyscrapers have turned to ruins, and amidst these ruins, sheets of black clouds swirl above the city.

It is a swarm of ice locusts! Countless mutated ice‑devouring locusts ravage this city, devouring everything in sight.

Whether living or non‑living!

As the spiritual energy density rose, countless locusts turned into extraordinary beings.

Not only did their bodies grow larger, but their appetites also surged enormously; their hungry nature drove them to devour everything they saw, even their own kind.

Seeing this, Chen Mo's lion eyes barely flickered; he let out a low growl: 'Roar!' (Charge!)

Soon, the Ice Lion Legion arrived at the city's walls.

They sensed the presence of living beings, and moreover, a large batch of fresh and powerful extraordinary beings.

The ice locust swarm formed sheets of 'black clouds' that swept toward the Ice Lion Legion.

Unfortunately, this time they met a tough opponent.

"Roar!" (Battle!)

At the Ice Lion King's command, the extraordinary beings of each tribe in the legion vied to be first to attack the ice locust swarm.

They feared that if they were even a step slow, there would be no merit left to claim.

They longed for the lion king to see their contributions, thereby earning a fief from the Ice Lion King.

First came the Frost Crane unit's 'bombardment': they dropped mutated ice vegetables from high altitude, then immediately channeled their own spiritual power to release wave after wave of a wide‑area group attack resembling an icy breath.

These 'mutated ice vegetables' exploded in mid‑air.

Boom! Boom! Boom! (End of chapter)
