Chapter 314

"Important notice, I am Li Long, starting from today, I will collect reed bundles for twenty consecutive days, fifteen cents per bundle. Standard, two and a half meters long, ten reeds per bundle, reeds should be thick, no wool reeds, tie three thin iron wires, quality should be good, inspection qualified and pay on the spot, remember, only collect for twenty days, important notice..."

Li Long notified three times, and turned off the microphone.

"Without Xiao Long, you are still powerful, only collect for twenty days, I guess now someone may have already taken a sickle and prepared to go out, fifteen cents, this twenty days, earn a lot of money!"

"So, first come first served, I have to rush back to the horse station, otherwise, people sell reed bundles, I may not be able to connect."

Li Long guessed right, when he arrived at the horse station, two families in the team had already pulled reed bundles and sent them over.

"Without Xiao Long, really fifteen cents each?"

"Must be qualified." Li Long said with a smile, "Brother Old Cai, as long as it is qualified, I will collect as many as you send, pay now."

"Good, good, good." Old Cai unloaded the reed bundles in the board cart and said:

"Look, take as many as are qualified."

Li Long didn't dare to be careless, check one by one. Li Anguo and the others also walked out to watch the excitement. Chen Xingbang asked Li Long on the side:

"This is a reed bundle? How to do it?"

"Brother-in-law, I'll tell you later, I'll check people's goods first." Li Long said while checking.

Old Cai pulled twenty-seven reed bundles, five were unqualified, Li Long paid three yuan and three cents. Old Cai was quite happy, helped Li Long send the qualified reed bundles to the horse station to put away, took the money, and pulled the rest away.

Li Long collected another person's reed bundles, this person pulled more, more than fifty, and there were ten or so unqualified. After collecting and paying, Li Long said to Li Anguo, Chen Xingbang and the four people:

"This reed bundle is to harvest reeds from the reed ditch, then pull off the reed leaves, use that pliers to press tightly and tie into reed bundles with thin iron wires, finally measure the length, chop off the head, and that's it. I'll take you through the process of tying reed bundles later, starting from pulling reeds.

I'll let my big brother take you to harvest reeds in the afternoon, after you understand the whole work, then see who wants to do what.

This work is usually done by a family, so it is easy to divide the work. After all, it takes several procedures to finally become a bundle. It is troublesome for one person to harvest reeds, pull reeds, and press bundles.

After you are familiar with the process, then see which one you want to do. It's okay to work together, it's okay to work separately. Work together, then I will give you money according to the number of reed bundles in the end, you discuss how to divide it yourselves.

If you work separately, then harvest a bundle of reeds for ten cents, pull reeds, press a reed bundle for five cents, you see how to do it yourselves."

Chen Xingbang turned his eyes and said with a smile:

"Without Xiao Long, why make it so troublesome. We are all our own people, look, you collect so many reed bundles alone, it's also troublesome, why don't we help you collect, you just give money."

Li Anguo and Li Junshan were a bit surprised, didn't expect Chen Xingbang to say this, and turned their heads to look at him. Li Junfeng's eyes lit up after hearing this, and he was very interested in this proposal.

"Brother-in-law, this won't work." Li Long shook his head, "You can't do this work."

"What can't be done, I see you just look at the length, look at the reeds inside when checking just now, this work can be done by anyone." Chen Xingbang felt that Li Long lost his face, and his speech was not very good.

"That work makes you say it can be done by anyone." Li Long was not angry either, living two lives, he knew the character of these relatives, and said with a smile:

"Two days ago, there was someone in the team who collected reed bundles for the supply and marketing cooperative like me. He collected ten cents for a reed bundle, and as a result, the supply and marketing cooperative came to check, and more than one thousand out of five thousand were unqualified.

"I'm not saying I don't give you face, I'm telling the truth. If you really let you check, if there is a problem, you are responsible or I am responsible? You are all laymen, contacting reed bundles for the first time, do you know what is qualified and what is unqualified?"

"If we don't know, won't you tell me?"

"Brother-in-law, don't be so stubborn, if you say it, you will know? If it's really like that, then every student will score one hundred points." Chen Xingbang's lack of cooperation made Li Long a bit angry this time, "If you really let you check, if there is a problem, you are responsible? He has five thousand reed bundles, more than one thousand are unqualified, and finally he compensated himself. Now it is thirty thousand reed bundles, if you check and have five thousand unqualified, and finally compensate one thousand yuan when handing in, do you compensate? Can you afford to compensate?"

One sentence poked Chen Xingbang to death.

Chen Xingbang's face was cloudy and sunny, and he didn't speak anymore.

Li Anguo hurriedly smoothed things over:

"Without Xiao Long, your brother-in-law doesn't mean this, he just wants to help. We are all our own people, then own people don't help own people, what is called own people? Thinking that you check so many alone, how tired..."

"Second brother, don't say that either, I'm not not towards my own people, otherwise, you wouldn't have managed it when you came. Earn money, either use strength or use brains, don't want to use anything, then is the money picked up?"

After he said this, Chen Xingbang was annoyed and wanted to get angry, Li Long didn't care about him, and continued:

"My dad came over, I took other work, that dad earned money, isn't it also going into the mountains with me and my big brother to cut poles. Where did dad's money come from? Isn't it also cut pole by pole? Want to earn money, have the preparation to use strength!

Don't want to do it, it's okay, I'll raise you here, we are all relatives, I won't drive you out of the door, but don't be jealous when you see others earning money! Why can others not get work and I can? Isn't it because when I hand in goods, the quality won't have problems, people believe me! If I let you laymen help me check the quality, then these thirty thousand reed bundles, I have to compensate to death!"

After Li Long finished these words, others didn't speak.

Although the words are ugly, the truth is not wrong.

Spreading the words to everyone is much stronger than solving them when things come to the head. In short, he is the one who plays the red face here. You are relatives, no mistake, so I can raise you, it's okay not to work. But you want to earn money, either go out to find your own way, or follow me.

Follow me, then you have to listen to me, listen to me, I guarantee you can earn money, want to go out to find your own way, I won't stop you, still that sentence, at least can guarantee you can eat a bowl of rice, doing this, it is considered benevolent and righteous.

Chen Xingbang's face was still very ugly, until Li Jianguo pulled the horse cart over.

"Without Xiao Long, work is here? I heard the sound of the loudspeaker and came over, you say, how to do it?"

"Big brother, I am thinking about letting second brother and the others see the process of working, they want to work together like Brother Han, it's okay, want to do it separately, it's okay. Do it separately, harvest reed bundles and pull them back, that is ten cents a bundle, pull reeds and press reed bundles, that is five cents each. Haven't done it, then have to go through it, or you take them to see it?"

"Okay." Li Jianguo said with a smile, "I'll take them to harvest reeds first, and by the way, call Brother Old Han and the others, there is work, what was agreed before, have to tell them, right?"

"That's it, the room is still left for them." Li Long pointed to the other two rooms, "Now all three rooms have stoves, don't be afraid of freezing in these two days. When harvesting reeds, if the clothes are wet, come back and roast them dry."

"Um, okay."

!.

This matter was settled like this.

After the two brothers finished speaking, Li Jianguo looked at Li Anguo and the others.

Didn't speak, but the meaning was very obvious, if you have opinions, just say it directly, if no opinions, follow me.

"Okay, let's go see how to harvest these reeds." Li Anguo made a decision. Chen Xingbang intended to refuse, but the words didn't come out.

Can't endure hardship just after coming, then earn a fart money by coming here.

Although he wanted to be relaxed and use his brain to earn money, he really didn't find an opportunity right now.

Then suffer for a while first, and see the situation later.

Li Long gave everyone a pair of line gloves, so as not to grind water bubbles when harvesting reeds later.

Li Jianguo took people and tools, drove the horse cart to the reed lake, saw many people on the road, most of them were walking with tools to that side.

Now most families in the team don't have large livestock like horses or donkeys, but there are quite a few board carts, which can be pulled by people. Some borrow other people's livestock, those with good relationships borrow, those with ordinary relationships rent or exchange things.

As soon as the loudspeaker came out, everyone in the village knew that they were going to earn money, so everyone was very happy.

Li Anguo and the others were originally quite anxious, after all, they had never done such work. Now seeing these people on the road with smiles on their faces, their hearts were slightly relaxed. After all, seeing everyone so happy, then harvesting reeds shouldn't be a heavy job, right?

Li Jianguo took Li Anguo and the others to the reed lake, walked in, and stopped at a relatively dry place. Li Jianguo said to Li Anguo and the others who had already come down:

"Wool reeds grow outside, look at me cutting them, leaving an opening, and the high reeds inside are what we want. Without Xiao Long said, those reed bundles must be at least two and a half meters high, so they must be cut from the root, this reed is cut a handful thick, a bundle, almost enough to tie two reed bundles."

He demonstrated while speaking, very neatly cutting a pile of wool reeds less than two meters high on the outside, opening a path, revealing the high reeds inside.

"There is water inside, but it is not so cold right now, it's okay to wet the shoes, go back and roast them dry when there is a stove. This earning money, it's definitely not so easy." Li Jianguo said.

Li Anguo and the others looked simple, and everyone wanted to come over and try.

"If someone asks you where you are from, you say you were brought by me." Li Jianguo said, "Whoever dares to bully you, don't be afraid of things, Without Xiao Long and I can still speak in the team. You harvest first, tie a bundle when you harvest a handful, carry it out after tying and put it outside, then my horse cart will come to pull it."

"Then big brother, where are you going?" Li Anguo asked.

"I'll go find those fellow villagers in the reclamation area, see if they do it. If they do, pick them up. This work is quite a lot, have to find more people."

Li Jianguo left, Li Anguo and the others started to harvest. (End of chapter)
