Chapter 159: Killed to Death
These people would not care whether they caused panic among the surrounding crowd.
Even so, they were still shocked by the scene before their eyes.
The woman responsible for the ambush had been stabbed with a syringe of medicine by someone else and lay on the ground, her life or death unknown.
And those three accomplices lay in a pool of blood, dead beyond any doubt.
Such a brutal scene appearing in broad daylight made even them, who had seen bloody scenes before, feel a chill run down their spines.
Among them, a few found their legs disobeying them and instinctively stepped back.
Taking advantage of their stunned effort, Yu Dazhang set down the military knife in his hand, quickly drew his pistol, and aimed it at them.
"Don't move! Drop your weapons!!"
While shouting, he quickly scanned the hands of the dozen or so people opposite him.
Sure enough, one of them was holding a black pistol.
A Type 54?
Although the distance was considerable, Yu Dazhang could still clearly see the features of that gun.
The dozen or so people opposite were clearly intimidated, but not a single one dropped their weapon.
Yu Dazhang frowned and repeated himself once more:
"Final warning, throw your weapons to the ground!"
Still, no one moved.
They were as if they had conspired together, standing in place with their eyes fixed intently on Yu Dazhang.
Damn, another group of desperate men... Yu Dazhang immediately made this judgment in his mind.
If they were ordinary people, pointed at by police with guns, they would have given up resistance long ago.
Yet not a single one of the group before him put down their weapons; from their appearance, it seemed they were waiting for orders.
Just then, Yu Dazhang saw Ma Jian and another officer running toward him at high speed on the other lane.
That group soon spotted Ma Jian and the others; the armed man suddenly shouted:
"Charge!"
Yu Dazhang had been watching him closely; seeing the man raise his gun, he immediately aimed his muzzle at him and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
"Bang bang bang"
Three consecutive gunshots rang out, but actually only two bullets hit that man.
Without special missions, Yu Dazhang's service pistol contained only seven rounds, and the topmost round had no bullet head.
That man shuddered twice and collapsed onto the ground.
What Yu Dazhang did not expect was that the others were not only not frightened but instead raised their weapons and rushed toward him.
A bunch of lunatics!
People are like this; once someone takes the lead to do something, others will immediately follow.
In this situation, Yu Dazhang had no choice but to open fire.
He fired three more shots, taking down two men, leaving only the last bullet in his pistol.
Fortunately, Ma Jian and the others arrived at the scene at this moment and raised their guns to shoot at those people.
Amidst the chaos, Yu Dazhang kept watching the spot where the armed man had fallen earlier.
As expected, a youth positioned slightly behind bent low and ran toward that man, obviously intending to pick up the gun.
"Bang"
Yu Dazhang fired his last bullet at him, striking him squarely in the head, killing him instantly!
By now, two people had reached in front of him; one held a dagger, the other raised a machete high.
And he was still maintaining his shooting posture.
As the machete came down, Yu Dazhang holstered his gun and dodged sideways, barely avoiding that strike.
But the other man's dagger immediately followed, thrusting straight at his chest.
Screwed!
Yu Dazhang wanted to dodge again, but it was already too late; he didn't even have time to raise his arms to protect his chest.
He could only watch helplessly as the dagger drew closer and closer to himself...
Wrong posture, can restart the sleep.
If that strike landed, he would absolutely be dead, with no possibility of survival left.
The opponent was clearly a master of the blade, striking fast and viciously, heading straight for his heart.
If only I had been more low-key in this life... Yu Dazhang wailed inwardly, preparing to welcome his final moment.
Come to think of it, I really didn't intend to solve the special case!
He was already preparing to close his eyes, but strangely, just as that dagger was about to pierce his body, it suddenly stopped.
The tip had even pierced through his clothes. What's going on?
Did the opponent suddenly develop a conscience?
He looked closely and saw a slender arm hooked around that person's neck, pulling forcefully backward.
Qu Tuotuo!!
When did she get off the car?!
Seeing the opponent sheath the dagger and prepare to attack Qu Tuotuo from behind, Yu Dazhang's eyes turned red as he lunged forward violently.
He grabbed that person's wrist and twisted it backward.
The instant the dagger fell, he swiftly caught it, aimed the tip at that person's stomach, and delivered a thrusting stab.
This time using a thrusting stab was purely out of fear of injuring Qu Tuotuo behind the opponent.
Before he could make another move, Yu Dazhang sensed the cleaver falling again behind him.
He sidestepped, twisting his dagger in hand and thrusting straight forward.
It pierced straight through the man's neck.
As he pulled the blade free, he raised his right leg and kicked the man flying.

"Let go!" Yu Dazhang turned and shouted at Qu Tuotuo.
The man's eyes had already rolled back, yet Qu Tuotuo refused to release her grip, still squeezing his throat tightly.
Hearing Yu Dazhang's words, she slowly loosened her arms.
Without restraint, the man collapsed at once.
"Get back in the car!" Yu Dazhang walked over and stood in front of Qu Tuotuo.
Unexpectedly, Qu Tuotuo refused to move.
"No!" She stared stubbornly at Yu Dazhang's back:
"If it weren't for me just now, you would've…"
Her voice choked off halfway.
Recalling that moment, she felt a chill of fear.
"Enough nonsense!" Yu Dazhang roared:
"Now, right now, get back in the car!!"
His voice was loud, commanding—he was clearly furious, with no outlet for his rage.
Seeing Yu Dazhang truly angry, Qu Tuotuo dared not speak further and returned to the car.
"Lock the doors!" He still wasn't reassured.
Gunfire kept erupting; Ma Jian and the others fired at the attackers while moving closer to Yu Dazhang.
Since they weren't firing head-on and had to avoid civilians in nearby vehicles, their accuracy was low.
But it at least bought Yu Dazhang time.
At that moment, two more men charged forward from the opposite side.
Yu Dazhang advanced with his dagger…
He swung his arm, stabbing once more through a man's abdomen, then upward, pulling the blade free.
He immediately used the man as a shield and shoved him forward with force.
The other man instinctively dodged aside—but that very motion gave Yu Dazhang the opening he needed.
Yu Dazhang lunged forward, slashing his dagger across the man's trachea.
One strike, fatal—blood gushed wildly.
Including this one, seven corpses lay at his feet, plus one woman whose life was uncertain.
Add the three he had shot dead.
In these few short minutes, ten lives had ended in his hands.
Yu Dazhang was numb from killing.
Now, only four youths remained across from him.
The rest had either fallen to Yu Dazhang's blade or been shot down by Ma Jian and the others.
The four stood frozen in place, weapons dropped to the ground, eyes glazed.
Their condition was the exact opposite of Yu Dazhang's.
They were all paralyzed with fear.
