Chapter 743: How Was This Case Investigated? Why Was It Solved So Quickly?

"All five villas have been breached?"

Yu Dazhang wore an expression of disbelief; he would rather believe that Captain Hua had made a mistake.

In the villa they had just visited, the floor was already covered with victimized women who had undergone surgery.

This was just from one villa, yet the number of people already made Yu Dazhang feel alarmed.

He could not help but imagine: if the number were three times larger, what concept would that represent?

The case had become boundless.

This was not an ordinary trafficking case where rescuing the trafficked persons would mark the near conclusion.

The situation in this case was entirely different: so many trafficked women had all been subjected to surrogate pregnancy surgery.

How should such a situation be handled?

Yu Dazhang could no longer think of an answer.

He also realized that the subsequent handling work had likely exceeded his capabilities and was no longer something he could intervene in.

"Call for reinforcements."

Captain Hua suggested:

"Given the current situation, our group is no longer sufficient; we need support from your local police forces."

"Although the scene is temporarily under control, further searches are still required."

The reinforcements he referred to were not limited to police manpower.

With so many victims, arrangements must be made to send them to hospitals for treatment and processing.

Judging by the numbers, hospitals across the entire city would likely be overwhelmed.

Furthermore, subsequent deployment and investigation work was imminent; relying solely on the members of the special task force was clearly far from enough.

Yu Dazhang nodded thoughtfully, then stepped aside, pulled out his mobile phone from his pocket.

After a moment of hesitation, he ultimately decided to call the Team Captain first.

It was already nearly three in the morning; making a call at this time would certainly disturb someone's sleep, but he believed the other party would understand.

The phone was answered quickly.

"What's wrong?"

The Team Captain's voice came through the receiver, clear and powerful, showing no trace of fatigue from being disturbed by a late-night phone call.

Yu Dazhang concisely introduced the current situation, then made his request:

"We need comprehensive support from the city; one or two hospitals will definitely not suffice. We must contact as many hospitals as possible to ensure the victimized women receive timely and effective treatment."

He paused, slightly intensifying his tone:

"As for police manpower, although we have currently controlled the situation, the subsequent work remains extremely heavy, requiring large amounts of police force to maintain order, conduct investigations, and handle various emergencies."

He had simplified his language as much as possible to allow the Team Captain to better understand.

The core idea came down to two points:

1. Hospitals need to dispatch medical vehicles to pick up the people.

Many of these women have only recently undergone surgery; their transport requires professional medical staff and relevant equipment.

2. Police manpower is needed, the more the better.

Not only are there many women requiring rescue, but the number of suspects caught is also very large; simply escorting these people back would consume vast amounts of police force.

Right now, the special task force can only manage to control the scene and is completely unable to proceed to the next step.

"You... you mean..."

The Team Captain on the other end of the line did not react immediately; even after Yu Dazhang finished speaking, he remained in a state of shock.

A moment later, he finally came to his senses and asked loudly:

"You found their main hideout across the way, and it's right here in Songhai?"

He remembered clearly that just three hours ago, nearly midnight, Yu Dazhang had just called him to request help in calling for reinforcements.

It wasn't even dawn yet, and the people had already been caught?

Moreover, all the missing trafficked women had been found.

Upon hearing the number of victims, the Team Captain could hardly believe his ears.

This case has reached the heavens!

And it is a case supervised by the Ministry of Public Security, yet it has been solved just like this?
