Chapter 98: A Note on Going Live on the Shelves

Tomorrow at noon, 12 o'clock, it goes live on the shelves.

Here I'd like to thank all the reader lords who voted for Fatty and tipped him.

First, a word on updates.

Up to now, I've been keeping up two updates a day, two thousand words per chapter.

I wish I could update more, but my hands are clumsy and my brain is slow—I can only write this much in a day.

Some buddies have asked.

Where are your saved drafts?

Nowhere. Before I started the book, I hadn't saved a single word.

Because when I first submitted, I never expected to get a contract—I was just planning to practice the opening.

Here I have to thank Editor Shiguang; the boss gave me a pull, so naturally I have to charge ahead too.

Back to the novel itself.

Wrapping it in a rebirth shell and using a virtual address—I did all this to keep it in a fictional setting.

Why did I make a three-hundred-jin fatty the protagonist?

Also to keep it in a fictional setting.

I know this setup will drive off some readers, but it's still better than writing halfway and having the book vanish, right?

So please, everyone, don't try to map it onto reality.

This story is purely fictional.

I've finally managed to write my way up to the shelf launch, burning the midnight oil, and I've already cut things down several times—please, lords, leave me a way out. Thank you.

Finally, thick-skinned as I am, I'm begging for subscriptions and monthly tickets.

I know the shelf launch calls for an explosion of updates, and I've saved up one chapter these past few days.

But it doesn't matter—no saved drafts, but haven't I still got my life?

Tomorrow I definitely have to give it my all.

Let's set a small goal first: at least double the usual amount.

Hitting ten thousand words in a day is also possible.

Please... you.... favorite 6... 9.... book.... ba....!

Once again, thank you to all the reader lords for not abandoning me.

On my knees, thank you~
