Chapter 46: Berlin Film Emperor

Zhang Tianyou was shocked and said: "Li Jiaoshou, what you said is true?"

Li Er nodded and said: "True."

Liu Zhaohong said: "So what. Zhang Yi's movie can be shortlisted for the Berlin Film Festival, that is Zhang Yi's ability, it is the education merit of our Film Academy. What does it have to do with him?"

Li Er said: "It has something to do with it, I have watched some clips, I think this boy has very good talent, his acting in it is not worse than Xia Yu when he won the award. Because of some inexplicable reasons, I firmly disagree with keeping him out of our Film Academy."

Liu Zhaohong sneered: "Compare with Xia Yu? Li Jiaoshou, you are overstating it. If I remember correctly, the award time is tonight. If he can really compare with Xia Yu, then he should be able to get a Best Actor?"

As soon as he said this, everyone in the conference room laughed.

35-year-old Ge You won the Cannes Film Emperor with "To Live" in 92, 17-year-old Xia Yu won the Venice Film Emperor with "In the Heat of the Sun" in 94. The two film emperors have been the pride of Chinese cinema so far, because eleven years have passed, besides the two of them, no other mainland male actor has won awards in the three major European film festivals.

And, most importantly, neither of them conquered Berlin. For mainland male actors, the Berlin Film Festival is still a blank virgin land.

Although Zhang Yi's "The Zhang Zhang Yaba's House" and Gu Changwei's "Peacock" were shortlisted for the main competition unit of the Berlin Film Festival as two mainland films, all Film Academy people were exceptionally excited when they heard this news, but almost no one knew the details of this movie, occasionally a few rumors spread from the mouths of those in Zhang Yi's crew at the beginning, all ancient and strange and very absurd.

So, happy is happy, but from leaders to students, almost no one was optimistic about them.

It is said that the total investment was less than 500,000, and it was filmed for a month and a bit, such a film can be shortlisted, it is already awesome, still want to win an award?

Impossible.

Not only was Zheng Zhongjian thinking this way, Li Er was also thinking this way. Although she was optimistic about Chen Nuo's acting in The Zhang Zhang Yaba, she still didn't dare to have this dream.

An 18-year-old Berlin Film Emperor... he didn't even go to the scene himself!

This kind of dream, unless you are not a madman, who dares to do it? Who dares to think!

Liu Deputy Director is really fighting with Li Jiaoshou today. Everyone in the conference room was muttering to themselves.

Everyone looked at each other, and their eyes wandered back and forth on Liu Zhaohong and Li Er. I don't know what contradiction happened between these two big guys? It feels like Deputy Director Liu is going to pull Li Jiaoshou off the horse today.

Li Er was also thinking in her heart at this moment.

This time, who is Liu Zhaohong aiming at?

Is it Chen Nuo, or herself?

If it is herself, then who wants to mess with herself? It couldn't be Liu Zhaohong, then it is...

But at this time, the conference room door was suddenly pushed open by a male teacher in his 30s.

He had an unbelievable expression, his eyes fell directly on Zheng Zhongjian, swallowed a mouthful of saliva, and said: "President Zheng, the results of Berlin are out, Zhang Yi, Zhang Yi and the others won an award."

The sound was not loud, but echoing in the auditorium, it made everyone quiet at once.

Everyone turned their heads to look at this male teacher, and for a while, no one moved.

Zheng Zhongjian had been sitting in his seat before, no matter what Li Er and Liu Zhaohong said, his face didn't change, as stable as Mount Tai.

But at this time, his butt stuck out, and the chair under his butt flew far away with a "clatter," and he stood up, "What did you say?"

That male teacher said again: "Zhang Yi won an award, Best Actor Silver Bear Award, the news just came."

"Where did you see it? Are you sure?" Zheng Zhongjian still had an unbelievable look, "It's not some gossip, right?"

"No, really not, it's a live report from Sina. com," the male teacher said.

Zheng Zhongjian didn't speak, staring blankly at the male teacher.

The whole venue was also quiet, everyone's eyes were moving, and they didn't know what they were thinking.

Afterwards, a "thump" sound.

That was the sound of Li Er sitting on the chair.

The woman's weight was not light, sitting too fiercely and too urgently, losing her balance a bit, making the chair shake.

Everyone turned their eyes to look at her, and their brains were also slowly turning. Don't think these teachers react slowly, it's really that the information is too much and too messy all at once.

First, Deputy Director Liu said a student named Chen Nuo had a problem with his thinking and should cancel his exam results.

Then Li Jiaoshou said, the male lead of Zhang Yi's movie is Chen Nuo.

Immediately after, there was a message saying Zhang Yi's movie won the Best Actor Silver Bear Award.

Best Actor, Chen Nuo is a man, and he is the lead in Zhang Yi's play, in other words, this examinee named Chen Nuo won the Berlin Film Festival Best Actor Silver Bear Award?

Seeing the expressions of everyone in the conference room, Li Er smiled.

"Chen Nuo, Li Jiaoshou, is Zhang Yi's movie really Chen Nuo's male lead?" Zhang Tianyou reacted and hurriedly asked.

At this moment, except for Li Er, almost no one in the conference room was sitting, all standing up, looking at Li Er with burning eyes.

Li Er took off her glasses, rubbed her eyes there, and made a "mm" sound in her mouth.

Zheng Zhongjian looked seriously at the name list in his hand, put on his reading glasses, stared at it for three seconds, and then looked up and asked: "Didn't Sina. com say what the male lead's name is?"

The male teacher shook his head and said: "No, it's a text news flash, only the award won, nothing else. But the award scene must have said the name, it's just that Sina might have seen the name was unfamiliar and didn't dare to translate it randomly, it is estimated that after a while, after confirmation, there will be a name."

Zheng Zhongjian nodded thoughtfully.

Liu Zhaohong forced a smile: "President Zheng, it might not be Chen Nuo."

Zheng Zhongjian glanced at him and said: "Deputy Director Liu, you are very right. Now this matter cannot be 100% confirmed, and it is just a one-sided word from an internet media like Sina, and there is no certification from authoritative media. Hmm, like this... Li Jiaoshou, you should have Chen Nuo's phone number, right, can you make a phone call to him. See if he has any news. By the way, let everyone listen to see if this student is the arrogant and rude one Deputy Director Liu said."

Li Er took out her phone, turned on the speakerphone, called Chen Nuo, and put the phone on the table in front of Zheng Zhongjian.

"Beep beep beep..."

Before it rang twice, the phone was connected. The background was very quiet, and a quite pleasant male voice said: "Li Jiaoshou, good evening, is there anything?"

Different from what was said before, Zheng Zhongjian grabbed the phone and smiled: "Is this student Chen Nuo? I am the vice president of the Film Academy, my surname is Zheng. Li Jiaoshou is right next to me."

"... Ah, President Zheng, hello hello, I am Chen Nuo."

Zheng Zhongjian said loudly: "Student Chen Nuo, congratulations, we just received news that you won the Film Emperor crown at the 55th Berlin Film Festival! You are the first male actor in our mainland to win the Berlin Film Emperor, I represent the Film Academy, and express my congratulations to you!"

"Ah............ really?"

"Yes, speaking of which, it is a very coincidence, when the news came, we were just having a meeting to study this year's admission list, and student Chen Nuo, your professional score is ranked first! This is your fate with our Film Academy, and it is also the Film Academy's fate with Berlin! After you were admitted to our Film Academy, you won the Berlin Film Emperor crown, this is your glorious moment, and it is also the Film Academy's glorious moment!"

"Ah! Was I admitted? Thank you President Zheng, thank you teachers!" The boy seemed even more excited than winning the Berlin Film Emperor.

Zheng Zhongjian narrowed his eyes, revealing a satisfied expression, and said: "Don't thank me, our Film Academy only looks at hard power, not anything else, you have this achievement, it is all your own ability. By the way, many teachers of our Film Academy are here, do you want to say two sentences to them."

"No need. Don't dare, don't dare."

"Heh, that's good, then we will see each other at school in the future."

After hanging up the phone, Zheng Zhongjian sat back in his seat, coughed lightly, and said: "I will say three things. First, anyone is not allowed to spread what happened in this conference room tonight. If there is any violation, no matter who it is, it will be severely punished."

Zhang Tianyou nodded and said: "President Zheng, you can rest assured."

Zheng Zhongjian continued, "Second, the fact that Chen Nuo had the highest professional score in the country was determined by the initial scores. It was not something a few of us decided arbitrarily, and it was absolutely not decided because he won the Berlin Best Actor award. Before the news of him winning the Berlin Best Actor award even arrived, he was already our top-ranked professional examinee and had already become a member of our Film Academy. This chronological order must absolutely not be mistaken."

After everyone nodded one after another, Zheng Zhongjian said again: "Third point, Deputy Director Liu, you personally take people to Beijing TV tomorrow, we absolutely do not allow
