Chapter 191
"Who could it possibly be? How could they fight Lord Kaido to this extent?!"
"Could it be Big Mom?"
Gazing at the horrifying scene on Ghost Island far away.
All members of the Beasts Pirates on the ship were stunned, their expressions frozen.
Kurei was also drenched in cold sweat, utterly terrified.
"That traveler Luo En can fight the Governor to this level?!"
From the moment he received word from the Flying Six, to the moment he appeared here, nearly three hours had passed.
At that time, Kaido had already begun fighting Luo En.
That means…
Kaido and that traveler Luo En have been fighting nonstop for over three hours!
Thinking of this, Kurei, sweat pouring from his brow, couldn't help swallowing hard.
By the time he finally pushed through the churning waves and reached Ghost Island, the entire island had been reduced to ruins—cracks crisscrossed and snaked across the ground, and even the iconic demonic horn had been severed.
"Lord Kurei."
The Flying Six approached him.
Kurei, sweat streaming down his forehead, stared up at the one man and one dragon locked in battle.
Compared to what he'd seen from the sea, the terrifying aura, pressure, and god-defying killing intent of the two were far more overwhelming on the island.
It was almost suffocating—even a powerhouse like Kurei could feel the oppression.
"Is the enemy only that traveler Luo En?"
Kurei, obese, wearing sunglasses, with two golden mustaches and a golden ponytail trailing from the back of his head, asked the Flying Six.
They nodded: "Indeed, only him. No one else has been detected."
"Only one person…"
Kurei scratched his head, gazing upward in undisguised shock: "This guy's truly a madman!"
"Lord Kurei, should we join the fight?"
Pagewan of the Flying Six asked him.
"Join? Are you kidding? Don't you see the Governor's having fun?"
Kurei, a cigar clenched between his teeth, snapped: "If you disturb the Governor now, don't you fear being killed?"
"So we just watch?"
"What else can we do? What can you possibly do against that kind of battle?"
As they spoke, Kaido, transformed into a giant dragon, unleashed another Lei Ming—his dragon roar shook heaven and earth.
Several thick bolts of lightning crashed down from the dark vortex in the sky toward Luo En.
Luo En reached into the void and drew forth the gleaming, icy Lei Qie, then slashed upward in reverse.
The clear blade-light, wrapped in hard Haqi, sliced through the falling thunder in a cross-shaped strike.
Brilliant lightning surged wildly across the sky.
Luo En held the blade with both hands, black hair whipping, standing beneath a sky choked with dark clouds, facing off against the dragon-form Kaido.
Above, a massive black cloud vortex churned.
Merely this sight made one's heart tremble.
"Boy, your stamina is nearly spent, isn't it? Your attacks aren't as powerful as they were at first."
Kaido's dragon eyes, bloodshot and glaring, fixed on Luo En.
His colossal body coiled through the sky, riding clouds and mist, surrounded by howling whirlwinds, purple lightning flashing above his head, like a world-ending demon dragon.
After over three hours of continuous battle, although Luo En pierced his defenses and inflicted heavy damage, to Kaido it was merely minor injury.
With a little time, he could recover swiftly.
Luo En said nothing, but with a thought, countless boulders across Ghost Island floated upward and hurtled toward the dragon Kaido.
Kaido let the boulders strike him.
"Such tricks are useless against me."
He coiled his dragon body and surged toward Luo En at blinding speed.
"To come here alone is truly arrogant—but I acknowledge your strength. If you're willing to join my Beasts Pirates, replace Jin as a Great Board, and serve me, I'll spare your life now."
"Kaido, even delusions have limits."
Luo En used Yue Bu and instantly dodged his high-speed charge.
The next instant, accompanied by a dragon roar.
Several purple lightning bolts crashed from the sky, shattered by Luo En's reverse slash with Lei Qie.
Shuuu!
With a sonic boom, Kaido's dragon tail whipped through the air, striking Luo En with terrifying force!
Luo En's face twisted slightly, a flash of pain crossing his tightly shut eyes—he was blasted skyward in an instant, a streak of black light.
"Since that's the case, you might as well go die."
Kaido, the dragon, opened his massive maw, gathering searing flame in his throat, unleashing a scorching breath that tore across the heavens!
The stormy sky was instantly pierced, glowing blood-red.
"…!"
Yamato's crimson eyes fixed tightly on the sky.
Is this really the end…?
Kurei, the Flying Six, Shinu, Gei Fu Zhe, and the Waiters all looked upward.
Is that guy dead?
The colossal azure dragon that Kaido had transformed into also coiled in the air, his dragon eyes gazing at the hole in the heavens that his own Breath had blasted through.
That guy isn't the sort to be taken down this easily.
Just as everyone on Kage no Shima held their breath and looked up at the sky.
A young voice, tinged with admiration, drifted down from above the heavens.
"Worthy of being called the strongest creature in the world."
The great dragon Kaido's dragon eyes narrowed.
Under the gazes of Queen, Yamato, the Tobiroppo, and the many other members of the Beasts Pirates.
A tall, upright figure emerged from within that massive hole in the clouds, his whole body steaming with the heat of the Breath that had scorched him, dual blades in hand, hovering and standing firm at the center of that blood-red sky.
"But if one of the Four Emperors didn't even have this level of strength, it would be rather dull."
Kaido listened to his words, his dragon eyes narrowing slightly: "As expected, an arrogant brat. You… really think this is my full strength?"
Hearing his words, not to mention the Tobiroppo and the Headliners, the Gifters and the rest—even Queen, Kaido's confidant, and Yamato, Kaido's daughter—saw their expressions momentarily freeze.
And the next words spoken by the figure overhead left them all the more shocked and horrified.
"You're the one who shouldn't be thinking I've already gone all out, right?"
"Oh?"
Kaido stared at the figure in the sky, his dragon eyes narrowing slightly.
"Then I'll have to see it for myself."
"I won't disappoint you."
Luo En released his grip, letting the black blade Shusui and Lei Qie sink into the ripple-like void at his feet.
"He abandoned his swords? What is he trying to do?!"
Yamato, wearing a sleeveless kimono, gazed up at that tiny figure in the sky, her heart leaping into her throat, her striking, handsome face and a pair of red eyes filled with tension.
"Hoo…"
Luo En drew in a long breath, the vast qi and blood throughout his body surging toward his right leg.
Sun Breathing, Full Concentration!
lv4 Extremity of Force, activate!
lv7 Armament Haki Flowing Sakura, wrap, harden!
Bzzz bzzz bzzz!
Thick bolts of golden Lei Ting spread outward in all directions from Luo En's right leg.
The terrifying, astonishing power of qi and blood transformed into a hurricane that surged skyward from his body, as if about to tear heaven and earth apart; the air around his right leg seemed unable to bear that power gathered to its absolute limit, producing line after line of black, abyssal streaks.
Rolling waves of scorching heat blasted outward from the figure standing in the blood-red sky, and the very air over all of Kage no Shima was pressed down from above.
