Chapter 4
"If this keeps up, Sarada might lose." Boruto was deeply worried, but there was nothing he could do.
Sarada was already on stage, so there was no way he could give her hints or anything like that.
Sarada also sensed the state of her match and grew a little anxious, but still forced herself to calm down.
There was still a way to turn the tide; getting anxious at this moment would only give her opponent an opening.
The opponent began to provoke Sarada at this point, "Why'd you stop fighting? Scared?"
5. Engage (no need to watch)
Sarada was instantly a little riled up, gave a cold snort, and said, "You're thinking too highly of yourself. I won't fall for your goading."
Hearing Sarada's words, that girl's face alternated between green and pale, then forced an awkward smile, "Didn't expect you weren't stupid after all. Then let me see your real skill!"
Saying so, that girl made an aiming gesture. Sarada couldn't figure it out for a moment, but raised her guard all over, her spirit highly concentrated.
Luo En was right—she really should be careful. Fortunately, it wasn't too late yet.
"Alright then, watch and see." Sarada said with a faint smile.
"Sarada really is going to lose." Mitsuki was deeply worried, his troubled expression even more obvious.
"She'll win." Luo En suddenly spoke up behind Mitsuki at this moment.
Mitsuki couldn't help but freeze upon hearing Luo En's words, and instinctively asked, "Why?"
Boruto stared at the stage; Sarada and her opponent had squared off again.
The situation had somewhat reversed. Although Sarada still maintained a downward posture, she seemed to have victory in her grasp—even though it looked the same as before, with the girl having the upper hand.
The girl widened her eyes in shock, "What did you just do? Why can't I dodge your moves at all?"
Sarada smiled without speaking, inwardly muttering to herself.
She'd switched to the opposite approach; after fighting for so long in one style, there had to be some inertia, right?
The girl noticed something at this point and began to punch in the opposite direction. However, Sarada seemed to have guessed the girl's thoughts and deliberately used the same moves as before, but with slight differences.
The girl was completely thrown off by Sarada, unable to read her, and grew both angry and frustrated, then sped up her hands even more.
Sarada saw this and felt it was exactly the opportunity, so she immediately seized it and attacked the girl.
That girl quickly tilted her head back, her body leaning backward, intending to dodge.
But Sarada suddenly shifted her strike at this moment, heading straight for the attack. The girl widened her eyes, never expecting Sarada to suddenly change direction, and was hit by Sarada in an instant.
The girl crashed heavily onto the ground, gritting her teeth, "I concede."
Sarada glanced at the girl, went over and helped her up, "I'm glad to have sparred with you."
That girl was stunned for a moment, then smiled knowingly, "I'm also glad to have sparred with you."
After saying that, Sarada led the girl off the stage, helping her to another area.
Mitsuki was stunned, "Luo En, you're amazing. Everything is in your grasp."
Luo En smiled lightly, "It's nothing worth mentioning—just a bit more experience."
Seeing Luo En like this, Boruto suddenly felt an impulse in his heart, and then spoke it out, "Luo En, how about we go down together?"
At this moment, the host called out again, "Congratulations to Young Lady Sarada on her victory. Is there anyone new who wants to come up now?"
"We're coming!"
Five people instantly appeared on stage, looking like five brothers, muscles all over, their aura overwhelming, yet also a little comical.
"Five people?" The host was stunned, "Are you planning to spar all five at once?"
"Yes." The five brothers shouted in unison, hurriedly flexing their muscles to show off.
The audience below began to criticize one after another, "That's not fair."
"Boruto, let's go." Luo En found it interesting, then glanced at Boruto.
"Two versus five?" Boruto was stunned, "Luo En, are you serious?"
"That's right, trust me." Luo En wore that same smile again.
Although Boruto didn't quite believe it, he had a premonition in his heart that Luo En was right.
Thinking so, he nodded, "Let's go."
Mitsuki grew anxious and blocked Luo En and Boruto, "Are you crazy? That's five people. If you're going, I'm going too."
"Mitsuki, trust us." Boruto glanced at Luo En; Luo En's expression was calm, seemingly without any worry.
Mitsuki glanced at Luo En and found it was indeed so, and couldn't help but believe it in his heart.
"It's a peaceful era now, so it definitely won't be lethal."
Boruto spoke up again, watching the five brothers still flexing their muscles on stage, feeling anxious in his heart.
What if someone comes and steals the spot later?
"You guys go, good luck." Mitsuki nodded, thinking that he might encounter such a situation in the future too, so he set his worries aside, "Luo En, Boruto, I'm counting on you."
"Don't worry." Luo En nodded and led Boruto onto the stage.
Sarada came over, looked at Luo En and Boruto, and widened her eyes, "Mitsuki, why did they go up? There are five people over there!"
"Let's quietly watch the situation; there might be a surprise." Mitsuki stroked his chin, watching Luo En and Boruto.
Seeing this, Sarada said nothing more, only watching Boruto and Luo En on stage with worry.
Mitsuki might be doing this thinking it could improve Boruto and Luo En's strength, but it was too risky. How could two people possibly beat five? This wasn't playing house.
Seeing the two of them come up, the five brothers glanced at Luo En and Boruto, "What, you want to two-versus-five? You don't have something wrong with your brains, do you?"
"Whether there's something wrong with our brains, let's find out by fighting." Boruto frowned; the attitude of these five people was really unpleasant.
"Don't end up crying and calling for daddy later." The five brothers all burst into laughter.
Luo En gave a cold laugh, his hand speed extremely fast as he went over. The five brothers instantly fell silent, involuntarily widening their eyes.
"Damn it!" One of the five shouted in furious frustration.
The others also sprang into action one after another.
Immediately after, one of them pulled out something spring-like from his arm, which then stretched out and became elastic, attacking Luo En directly.
Another person rushed toward Luo En at high speed, a purple-tinged stick in hand, launching an assault.
The other two clung together—one head became two, two legs became four—pressure surging toward them.
Boruto saw this and also moved into action. Luo En's speed increased further, engaging the one who came over. Sarada also stepped up to help—two against one—and that person gradually struggled.
Meanwhile, the two who had fused together also charged over, heading straight for Luo En, but Luo En was already fighting that person.
"Luo En!" Boruto's eyes widened, just about to go over, when Luo En turned directly toward the fused pair and knocked one out with a single blow. Stars instantly appeared in both their eyes, two heads instantly became one, and four legs became two.
The remaining person hurriedly tried to take advantage of the opening to hit Luo En, but was blocked by Boruto. Luo En then turned and delivered a counter-kick, the force and speed precisely controlled.
Boruto only felt a gust of wind pass by, and that person was already collapsed on the ground, looking as if all strength to move was gone.
The fused pair panicked and hurriedly used a flurry of kicks, charging at Luo En. Luo En gave him no chance to hurt him—a few more sounds, and the fused pair completely collapsed, splitting back into two people.
"Congratulations to these two on their victory!" the host announced with great enthusiasm.
Six, make a move (no need to watch).
He was most unable to stand this kind of five-against-one fighting.
If this weren't a casual sparring match, he would have driven them off the stage.
Everyone present was shocked.
The five brothers lost? How could that be? In the past, there had never been a case of two-versus-five where the five lost.
"What kind of divine being is this? How could he have such power?" someone couldn't help whispering.
At this moment, the system suddenly issued a pleasant surprise: "Host, as long as you find a potential person with the talent to become Kage and save them, you can obtain new power."
"Ding, three meters away, there's a Kage."
"I still have some things to do, I'll come find you later." Hearing the system's words, Luo En immediately perked up and hurriedly said goodbye to Boruto.
Boruto and the others nodded, but before they could ask, Luo En had already vanished.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, on a small path in the Hidden Leaf Village, Li Si felt his pocket, then locked eyes with a woman, furious: "Damn it, the money's gone!"
Following the direction of Li Si's gaze, his subordinate indeed saw a striking woman standing ahead.
Delicate features, a high-bridged nose, a face like a blooming peach blossom, a smile like a spring breeze, with two little dimples to boot.
The subordinate's eyes lit up, a layer of desire rising in them. He grinned fawningly, bowing and nodding toward Li Si: "Boss, what's wrong? Didn't she just talk to us and try to be friends?"
After saying that, the subordinate looked at the woman in front of him again, his gaze drifting downward—the surging waves on her chest made him involuntarily gulp hard.
Then he felt pain on the top of his head.
"Slap!"
"What are you looking at! She's a thief! Why don't you hurry up and chase her!"
