Chapter 414
Just at that moment, Fubuki watched as the stone wall on the cliff actually opened. She stared, dumbstruck.
Then a wild beast crawled out. It was enormous, and Fubuki was so startled she didn't dare call for Luo En.
"Luo En, Luo En..." In the end, she ran while shouting for Luo En as she went.
Luo En, thinking she was up to something again, casually turned his head.
"Holy— what the— is that a wild beast?!" Luo En was so worked up he could barely speak.
Fubuki hid behind him and whispered, "Looks like it really is that wild beast!"
This wild beast was indeed that guardian spirit. It had been meant to sleep forever, but because Fubuki had actually picked that beautiful flower, it had been disturbed and came out.
Now, if Luo En and the others could just defeat this wild beast, they could immediately return to their own world.
But word had it this wild beast was ferocious. Tornado and the others hadn't found the way yet, so Luo En didn't dare act rashly either.
He pulled Fubuki along, quietly staying out of the beast's line of sight so they wouldn't be spotted.
But Luo En realized that no matter how he turned, the beast kept slowly following them.
Could something be pulling it along? Luo En looked left and right but couldn't spot anything unusual.
Just as he was about to turn back, he noticed the flowers on Fubuki's head.
It was the scent of those flowers that had been leading the beast to follow them.
After hearing Luo En's words, Fubuki took the flowers down and held them in her hand.
In no time the beast's gaze locked onto Fubuki. And Fubuki was still holding the flowers in her hand.
Luo En shouted, "Get out of the way, Fubuki!"
Fubuki heard the shout and dodged aside, narrowly avoiding a punch from the beast.

Fubuki watched as the beast's fist slammed into the cliff face, splitting a huge crack open in it.
She thought to herself: Good thing I dodged fast, or I'd have been pounded into a meat patty!
Lost in thought, she froze on the spot. Luo En saw her standing there dazed and shouted again, "
Get over here! You want to die or what?!"
Hearing the shout, Fubuki immediately ran toward Luo En.
Though she had narrowly escaped that disaster, it also meant the beast had been fully awakened.
Now they had no choice but to fight this beast to the death. Otherwise, even if they were trapped here, it would be a fate worse than death.
Luo En leapt up, soaring into the air, and slowly descended onto the beast's head.
He clenched his fist tight, gathered all his strength, and punched the beast.
The beast let out a roar, as if it had merely been tickled by something, and showed no reaction at all.
Luo En couldn't believe it—his strength was something almost no one could withstand, yet this beast was completely unscathed.
There had to be some trick to it.
Luo En flew back above its head and kept attacking it relentlessly. He discovered that the beast's hide was incredibly tough—no wonder his punch had felt like a mere tickle, doing nothing to it at all.
Luo En said, "Fubuki, I'll draw its attention. You look for anything special about this beast."
"Got it!"
Answering Luo En, Fubuki carefully studied the beast. Though she was usually careless and scatterbrained, she got serious when she truly set her mind to something.
Soon she found the beast's oddity. Right on its belly, there was a piece that looked like it could come loose like a chain—attack that, and the tough hide would split open.
Fubuki immediately shouted, "Luo En, I found it! I found it! The trick is under its belly—attack there and the hard skin will come off!"
Hearing Fubuki's reply, Luo En began racking his brain for ways to attack the beast's belly.
But the beast was cunning too—it knew its belly was vital, so it guarded that spot with its life. Luo En simply couldn't find an opening.
The moment the beast's attention shifted to Fubuki, Luo En seized the chance and darted straight in.
Unfortunately, he didn't succeed. Luo En was kicked by the beast into the cliff face, slamming into it hard.
The force of the blow made Luo En cough twice. The beast slowly walked toward her again.
Just as the beast was about to step forward, Tornado flashed in at top speed and pulled Luo En off the ground.
"We're here, beast—prepare to die!" Tornado said, flying at the beast.
She threw a punch but found it hadn't done the beast the slightest damage, and began to get anxious.
Luo En said, "Attack its belly—that's its weak point."
Hearing this, Tornado couldn't help but snap, "Why didn't you say so earlier?!"
With that, she nimbly slipped under the beast's belly. There was indeed a secret there.
That hide looked like it had been deliberately put on the beast by someone.
Tornado gathered her strength and slammed her fist into that crack. With a sharp crack, the crack split wide open, and the layer of hide on the beast immediately fell away.
"That's it—this beast is no longer our match. Take it out and we can go home!" Luo En said.
The Strange Man hurried over to help as well.
Now the four of them were fighting the beast together.
Luo En, as the main force, stood on the beast's head. He threw a punch down, and the beast let out a great roar that blasted everyone away.
Luo En stood up there—this time, he was going to smash the beast's head to pieces directly.
Luo En raised his hand, and the light from his palm connected with the light in the sky. Finally, Luo En punched the beast.
In an instant, the beast simply shattered apart, dissolving into a vast expanse of white mist.
Now they had completely destroyed the beast, which meant home wasn't far off. They stood there for a while but didn't find any way back.
Tornado walked straight over, grabbed the Strange Man by the collar, and said, "Didn't you say we could go back? Hmm? Why hasn't anything happened yet?!"
"I-I-I don't know why either!" Hungry Wolf looked at Tornado with an innocent face.
Luo En walked over and said, "Dragon Whirl, let him go—there might still be some mechanism; let's go inside and take a look!"
Dragon Whirl set down the strange man and followed Luo En into the mountains.
At this point, the cave entrance was no longer as dark as before—it now let in light.
They kept walking downward along the path until they reached the place where the beast had rested.
There, on the bed-like surface, lay a box; all three of them recognized it at once as the very box that had sucked them in.
The three of them ran toward it together.
Dragon Whirl snatched up the box first; she had been arguing with Luo En over it and had no idea what it was or how to activate it.
After shaking it several times with no effect, she awkwardly put the box down.
Luo En didn't understand why either, but he picked it up and examined it carefully.
He now couldn't recall at all why it had happened that way before.
Now only Breeze remained—she was the only one who had carefully studied the box.
Luo En looked over and handed the box to Breeze.
Breeze took the box with a dazed expression; she faintly remembered that she had reached out to touch it because she'd seen the gem on top and thought it was beautiful.
Relying on that hazy memory, Breeze found the gem and pressed it lightly.
As expected, the treasure box immediately glowed.
Suddenly, a beam of light descended from above and connected with the box; in an instant, all four of them were sucked back.
Since whoever entered through the treasure box reappeared where the box was, all three of them lay on Luo En's bed.
Banggu feared someone might destroy the treasure box and trap them inside, so he specifically brought it to Luo En's room floor.
Early in the morning, Banggu went as usual to check the box's current condition.
When he opened the door, he was startled by the sight before him—it was the three of them, lying on the same bed.
Banggu hurried over and shouted, "Wake up! Wake up! Breeze, Dragon Whirl, Luo En! Wake up!"
In their dreams, they heard someone calling them.
Suddenly, Luo En sat bolt upright, startling Banggu badly.
"Luo En—is that really you?" Banggu could hardly believe it; the man who had vanished days ago had returned.
"It's me—we're back!" Luo En said firmly.
Luo En quickly patted Dragon Whirl and Breeze beside him; they both finally woke up.
Banggu's eyes filled with tears—he had been worried just seconds ago, and now they were right before him, safe and sound.
Banggu rushed forward, touching each of them one by one, confirming they were truly real, before finally relaxing.
Banggu hurriedly said, "Luo En, while you were gone, Wang Dashe came to cause trouble again! Because of rumors that you had disappeared, he came here to provoke us."
