Chapter 61
………………
"Then it's settled — tomorrow, a sword duel with me."
Ain smiled at Luo En.
She knew her swordsmanship was no match for Luo En.
But being able to spar with him, she figured she would improve as well.
"Then I'll be off to my duties first."
"Mm."
After Ain left, Luo En gazed at the sea a while longer, then turned around intending to head back inside.
And just at that moment!
A sudden wave of murderous cold rose up from the bottom of his heart.
"This is… killing intent?!"
Luo En whipped his head around.
In a single glance he saw, far off in the sky above, a figure rapidly closing in on this direction!
Swish!
Accompanied by a sharp sound piercing through the air.
A transparent line dropped from the sky onto the warship.
The next second, that figure fell from the distant high sky onto this warship at a speed the naked eye could barely follow.
By the time Luo En drew Lei Qie.
That figure had already landed on the railing at the rear top of the warship.
Zephyr's tall, burly frame also appeared beside Luo En at the same moment.
Two overwhelming auras landed on Luo En's shoulders almost simultaneously!
"Fuffuffuffuff, Zephyr, long time no see."
That figure, draped in a pink feather coat, wearing cropped trousers and sunglasses, crouched on the railing and grinned at Zephyr.
"One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea — Donquixote Doflamingo."
Zephyr, standing beside Luo En, stared hard at this incomparably dangerous man and said in a low voice.
"You bastard — what do you want here?"
Ain and Binz, along with a group of Marines, had also arrived at the scene with weapons in hand, staring in shock at Doflamingo standing on the railing.
"That guy is…"
Cold sweat dripped down Binz's forehead. "One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea — the Heavenly Yaksha, Donquixote Doflamingo?!"
"Why has he appeared here?"
Ain gripped the blade in her hand, staring fixedly at Doflamingo.
From him, she felt an endless malice and danger.
Clearly, this Warlord of the Sea had appeared here.
He had not come bearing any goodwill!
"You took my people, yet you still don't know what I want?"
Doflamingo stared coldly at Zephyr and said: "Hand over Gecko and the others, and my things, Zephyr."
What he referred to was the special iron ore from that island that Zephyr and the others had taken away.
"Don't even dream of it!"
Zephyr undid the buttons at his wrist, rolled up his sleeves, and stared at Doflamingo with a cold voice: "So you're the one pulling Gecko's strings. Relying on the title of Warlord of the Sea, you think you can run amok?"
"How about this old man arrests you along with them and takes you back for a proper interrogation."
"Fuffuffuffuff, Zephyr, I didn't expect a stubborn old fossil like you could crack jokes too."
Doflamingo, wearing a pair of outrageously cocky sunglasses, laughed wickedly and slowly raised his hand.
Instantly, an extreme chill rose up in the hearts of Ain and all the Marine cadets.
"Arrest me? With these beloved students of yours in tow, how do you plan to do that?"
(PS1: I know in the original work it was Edward Weeble who cut off Zephyr's arm and wiped out the new Marines. The plot here is a butterfly effect caused by the protagonist's appearance.)

53. Heavenly Yaksha (1/5)
Bang!
One Marine couldn't hold back any longer; driven by that nameless dread, he fired a shot at Doflamingo.
Doflamingo flicked a finger.
The lead bullet was split clean in two mid-air.
That Marine cadet's throat was pierced through in an instant by an invisible attack, blood gushing out.
Accompanied by that Marine hitting the ground,
Zephyr's eyes flew wide, his pupils contracted sharply, and he roared in fury:
"Doflamingo! You seek death!"
His figure vanished on the spot, reappearing before Doflamingo, his Armament-Haki-hardened fist smashing viciously toward him!
"Fuffuffuffuff, it was your man who struck at me first, Zephyr."
"Spider's Web."
Laughing wildly, Doflamingo spread both hands, countless thin threads weaving into a spider's web that blocked Zephyr's furious punch.
The clash of their auras sent gusts of wind scattering in all directions; the warship itself shuddered, and the seawater churned outward in every direction.
In an instant, Zefa's fist broke through the spider web, and Doflamingo kicked off the ground, leaping into the air to dodge the strike.
"Fuffuffuffuff, so old, yet still with such strength—Black Arm Zefa truly lives up to his name." Doflamingo, suspended in midair, sneered at Zefa with a sinister grin. "But you still can't protect these students you hold so dear."
He spread his five fingers toward the warship below.
Luo En's eyes narrowed. He barked sharply at Ain and the others behind him: "Everyone, get back!"
But it was already too late.
Razor-sharp white lines rained down from Doflamingo's fingertips above toward the deck below.
In an instant, several Marine cadets who hadn't yet realized what was happening were pierced and sliced clean through!
Blood gushed and sprayed out!
Luo En swung the Lei Qie in his hand, unleashing several aerial slashes in succession, severing some of the white lines that had fallen into the densely packed crowd.
"That little brat…"
Doflamingo caught sight of this scene, fixed his gaze on Luo En, and his eyes narrowed slightly behind his sunglasses.
"Doflamingo, you're asking for death!"
Accompanied by Zefa's furious roar, he used Moon Walk to close the distance to Doflamingo and slammed a fist into him, sending him crashing diagonally onto the warship.
"Tempest Kick!"
"Grow, grow!"
Ain and Binz attacked simultaneously.
Several white lines sliced through.
Their attacks were instantly broken apart, and the white lines continued unabated toward the two of them.
Zefa landed in front of them just in time, catching and tearing the lines apart with a hand hardened by Armament Haki.
Doflamingo walked out from the collapsed building, his expression utterly cold and arrogant.
"Zefa, you've made me angry."
Doflamingo spread his five fingers, looked up at Zefa and the Marines including Ain, and cackled wickedly: "I've decided—I'll just kill every last one of your beloved students."
Zefa had no intention of wasting words with him and was about to make a move.
And just as he was about to act—
Several gunshots and the sound of a long blade swinging down came from behind him.
Zefa let out a pained grunt.
Those gunshots and long-blade attacks weren't aimed at Doflamingo at all—they had all landed on his back!
"Teacher!!"
Ain and Binz's expressions changed drastically.
