Chapter 651

~7 min read 1,339 words

"Since such a major event has occurred, shouldn't we let those who carry the curses and the people know, so they can prepare?"

Luo En shook his head.

"It's not yet the time to let them know; if they truly understood how great a disaster this door would bring them, they would be utterly terrified."

After speaking, Luo En walked to the door and extended his hand to gently caress it.

The door was extremely cold, giving off a bone-chilling sensation.

Suddenly, Luo En discovered his hand had sunk deeply into the door.

Luo En was greatly startled and quickly tried to pull his hand back.

But he hadn't expected the door to emit a powerful suction, completely holding his hand fast.

Luo En immediately spoke to those beside him.

"Quick, get me out."

Taiyiro and the curse immediately strained, trying to pull Luo En out.

But the door's suction was too strong; no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't move Luo En even an inch.

Luo En felt himself slowly being dragged into the door.

Taiyiro said anxiously.

"What on earth is happening?"

Luo En shook his head; even now, he didn't know what the door intended to do to him.

He only felt as if he were being utterly drawn in by the door, and his body had already merged into it.

His hand felt as if touching emptiness, with an intensely cold sensation, yet he touched no physical object.

Luo En said in surprise.

"The other side of the door seems to be a void—could it be a new space?"

At that moment, a tremendous force suddenly struck him; he felt his arm nearly fracture.

Fortunately, he had already channeled all his power into his hand and resisted the impact in that instant, yet Luo En could sense the force striking him came from a highly mysterious creature.

Luo En's face changed drastically, and he said.

"Indeed, there are strange creatures inside; their attacks are extremely powerful—just now, they were preparing to strike me."

At that moment, another muffled boom sounded; Luo En felt the energy in his arm was about to collapse.

He knew that if this continued, his arm would surely break.

A barrage of attacks had turned Luo En's face pale; sweat poured down his forehead.

He desperately tried to pull his hand back, yet he could feel the impacts growing stronger—but even such immense force failed to dislodge his hand.

At that moment, Luo En felt the entire door suddenly crack with countless fissures, meaning the door was about to collapse.

Luo En's face turned ashen; the very thing he feared most was finally happening.

Taiyiro shouted loudly.

"Can you still pull your hand back?"

Luo En tried—he shook his head; it was still impossible. As if by invisible force, something was pulling his hand with great strength.

And at that moment, the suction intensified again; not only was his arm drawn in, but half his body had already vanished into the stone door.

"Quick, we must find a way—otherwise you'll be killed like this."

Taiyiro held his twin blades, trying to help Luo En.

He had plunged the blades into the cracks, attempting to widen the gaps so Luo En could withdraw his hand.

But he suddenly realized this had no effect—the blades couldn't penetrate the fissures at all; moments after he applied force, the entire blade snapped in two.

At this point, half of Luo En's body had already entered the stone door, leaving only a small portion outside.

Luo En's entire head had passed into the other side of the stone door; he finally saw what lay within.

It was like a hell of slaughter—every inch of the sky was ashen gray, and beneath it, countless creatures howled madly, smashing against everything.

They attacked all things; a strong stench of blood hung thick in the air.

When Luo En smelled the blood, he felt himself infected—his heart swelled with a fierce urge to kill.

With a thunderous boom, the monster charged at Luo En again, slamming into him—these creatures had been frantically battering him.

The moment the monster struck Luo En's body, it exploded, spraying a mist of blood.

Moments later, the blood mist coalesced back into the monster.

And now, Luo En's entire body had been absorbed inside; he could finally move freely.

When the monsters charged at Luo En again, he instantly dodged to the side.

The monster missed, crashing heavily to the ground, its body bursting into blood mist once more.

Luo En sensed these monsters' attack patterns were extremely simple, yet the energy they unleashed was terrifying.

Moments later, countless more monsters surged toward him directly; though he dodged them all, his heart pounded wildly.

He could sense these creatures couldn't even be called living beings—they possessed no intelligence, and their behavior remained utterly uniform.

At that moment, Luo En suddenly saw a pair of hands appear where he had been standing.

Luo En felt surprised—was someone else trying to enter? He quickly grabbed the hands and tried to pull them in.

When the hands extended inward, pulling them back became difficult, but dragging them in was easy; soon, Luo En had pulled the person inside.

To his surprise, the person who entered was the curse; he stared at Luo En and said in astonishment.

"We all thought you had met with misfortune, so I came to check on you—but I never imagined you were still alive."

Then he looked around; the monsters turned his face pale.

"Where is this? It looks like a special space."

Luo En said.

"This should be a space, but for some reason it's now sealed inside a door—through that door, you can come here."

"And the creatures here seem to have been created by someone else; perhaps they too were captured and sealed within this space."

The Curse nodded and said.

"Though I don't know what happened in this space, I can feel these monsters are filled with killing intent—have they always been killing each other like this?"

Luo En nodded; since his first entry, he had sensed that the aura emitted by these creatures was unusual.

Then he turned to The Curse and asked.

"Where is Taiyaro?"

The Curse said.

"When I came in, he was outside seeking reinforcements—perhaps he wanted to find out more about this place."

Luo En frowned; the only person he wanted to ask was Lord Curse—but if Lord Curse learned of this place, would they still have a chance to live?

Luo En said.

"We must stop him. We cannot let Lord Curse know about this place."

The Curse said.

"But then we'll all be in grave danger. Only Lord Curse knows how to save this world. The documents are hidden there—only those documents contain the method to prevent this door from opening."

Luo En shook his head.

"Not necessarily. I can feel this door itself is unusual. The only way to stop it from opening is to prevent him from appearing."

But the door has already appeared; hiding it now is impossible.

Earlier, when Luo En read those documents, he had already realized this—but he hadn't spoken up then.

Now, however, he felt the situation was extremely urgent. If these monsters truly reached the outside world, that world would face catastrophe.

Luo En said.

"But it's clear these monsters, though powerful, are not immortal."

Once damaged beyond a certain point, they vanish.

Brief attacks make them burst into blood mist, then reform into new forms.

But these new forms are much weaker and significantly smaller in size."

As he spoke, he looked around; the tiny creatures visible were likely near death.

The Curse stared at Luo En in surprise—he hadn't expected Luo En to observe so carefully. He said.

"Do you plan to kill them all here?"

Luo En nodded firmly; it was part of his plan.

The Curse smiled bitterly.

"But there are so many monsters, and their strength is immense—how could the two of us possibly stand against them?"
