Three days later, they found the Mechanism Maker.

The Mechanism Maker handed Zuo Tian Yiyun a device shaped like a birdcage.

Luo En said, somewhat surprised.

"Can this thing actually hold someone?"

The man patted his chest and said.

"It contains supreme energy; once you draw an opponent into its cage, they can never escape."

Zuo Tian Yiyun fiddled with the cage in his hands and said.

"We plan to test it, but we don't know how to use it."

The Mechanism Maker took the cage, opened it.

Suddenly, he waved his hand, and a mysterious rune appeared in his palm.

Immediately, a person nearby was sucked inside.

Luo En and the others saw that person shrinking infinitely.

He struggled desperately inside the cage, but no matter how hard he tried, the cage showed no change.

The Mechanism Maker said.

"This cage contains eighteen thousand mechanisms; every step risks triggering one."

Then he opened the cage again and released the man.

The man glared at the Mechanism Maker, furious but dared not speak out.

"Speak freely."

The man frowned deeply and said.

"When did this start?"

The man thought for a moment.

"It began right after I took on your job."
